Really, really disappointed with Ebury. Service and approach nothing like it used to be. They will automatically shut down FX accounts if they don't see the volumes they are looking for but don't even have the courtesy to let you know. I have had multiple payments received from clients which have been rejected without me even knowing. Totally unreliable. Lots of other much more capable alternatives where the customer is valued.

Poor service: really bad/slow responsiveness, the London office is staffed with young twenty something year olds with no real knowledge, and their management don't pay any attention. Half the time you can't even get through to anyone on the main phone lines, and the company doesn't even have a proper answering machine! The website looks great, but the nuts/bolts behind the scene are completely missing. The executive team are also non-responsive, and likely just working out their remaining term having been bought out by Santander. Customers are flocking away from them, and they are likely going to run into trouble. All because they can't provide some simple basics: good customer service.

Ebury are clearly in financial/operational difficulty and possibly going under. They’re currently doing their best to cover up this mess. Multiple accounts are being closed by the firm, funds are not being returned to customers and calls/emails are not being answered. Investigations are being carried out by FCA (U.K.) and FSRA (Abu Dhabi) but I fear it may be too late.

We have been using eBury for 6 months, we have found their spot rates better than any other companies in the industry, eg Transferwise and XE. Their forward rates are extremely easy to setup and use. Web interface is idiot proof, you will be able to use in no time. They treat customers extremely well, one to one account manager will respond and solve any questions and problems almost instantly. As one of the largest outdoor toys importers, we highly recommend this company for your valuable everyday business! We have saved thousands of pounds using their forward rate service in just a few months!

Worked with Ebury less than a year. I am highly recommend Qi’s team to other companies. Here is my experience 1. Instantly and effective clients communication. I can reach them whenever and wherever I am 2. Good and friendly user experience and friendly client support. I can book a deal through portal all around the world. If I am not access to internet, dealer will support us to trade. 3. Ebury’s payment and settlement time is much quicker compared to others.

Spam and cold calling is their game. They called, requesting to speak to the director. When questioned what it is about and if they were expecting their call, they claimed yes. In turn, Ebury was completely lying, trying to push their spammy cold calls, and sales pitch for 'FX Savings'. Of which there are none. This company should be reported to the FCA and ICO for not respecting privacy. After having emailed complaints@ebury.com, we received just a generic response that they will look into it, no proof of any action has been taken. Once again, to reiterate, this is pure cold calling spam. October 2020 update. Original complaint made in January 2020, and ebury confirmed they would never call again, yet we've just had another call from them.

I’ve now been harassed multiple times by your rude, lying staff. You’ve been advised that you will be charged for this now, and you will be. You’ve used the time of staff multiple times after you’ve been asked not to call back and now you’ve taken to full-on harassment. I’m also requesting a ‘Data Subject Access Request’ as you’ve also been pursuing me personally. Legally, you have to supply this, and I will pursuing this through court as well costs if you do not do so.

Am surprised to read bad reviews, possibly unfairly biased on Google Review as nobody normally bothers to review a financial institution like this. So far no problem with Ebury, super cheap option to transfer money internationally. They had 5 stars originally, but now they are asking me for details only a 3rd party can provide. Moved on to Worldfirst.

been introduced by friend to a lovely lady Miss Qi Yan taking care of Chinese market .I m starting my own business and in need of a business account .all the retail high street banking has done terribly slow and no response for days ,Ms Qi took my case and call me to update everyday help me opening this account and talk to my supplier for outreach .even at 9 Pm!!
