Lovely service from the ladies at the make-up counters, not pushy, just really helpful. However the pharmacy can get very busy and twice didn't have what I needed, also they tend to speak quite loud to everyone picking up their meds so I could listen to a couple things that some might find should not be shared (like addresses or whether or not they pay for their meds), in my case they said we have this "name of medication" but not this "name of medication", which would have upset me if my condition was more delicate. Now I buy all my toiletries and make-up from here because it's the best stocked in town, but use Oxford Road Pharmacy for my medication as I found the pahrmacist and dispenser from there to be much more discreet and willing to give advice when needed.

I went there a couple weeks ago and had a terrible customer service experience. The staff who worked in the Estee Lauder section was incredibly rude. They just assume that because I am a man I don't know how to shop for beauty products and/or makeup. They kept on laughing when they asked me if I knew what I was looking for. One of the girls tried for a second to remain professional and she did ask me if she could be of any help, but it was already too late I didn't want to shop anymore. I left angry and went to the competition. I won't go back.

Boots in the Oracle - this once flagship store is going downhill.
Popped in there on Sunday, as usual they were shorted staffed, there were 3 for 2 promotions wrongly displayed and, the staff on the fragrance/beauty sections seem to be too busy chatting amongst themselves to attend to customers! Finally, the incompetent Optical Department who doesn't have a manager available on a Sunday (2nd busiest trading day of the week). I went in to collect a pair of reading glasses to find out that they had ordered the wrong frames. No apology, just told to wait another week.
