Really poor customer service. Long waiting times. You often feel completely ignored. Staff just do their own thing while long queues form. No one monitors the pandemic rule of 4 customers in the shop. Diabolical. If there was anywhere else to go, I would go elsewhere!

We bought a bottle of vitamin D for babies from here. At home when we opened the box we say that there was a leak even though the lit of the bottle was not opened at all. At the shop they said the liquid is at the similar level of the other bottles and they denied to change the product. I said I wouldn't give it to our newborn, obviously I couldn't trust that product after seeing the grease around the bottle when I opened the package. They said even if it was so obvious they wouldn't take it back since it is a drug product. And the manager of the shop said that it is declared at the back of the receipt. I went the other Boots shop in Reading center and they said it should be changed and gave me new package. I also bought another bottle of vitamin D from a different brand and got a receipt this time. As you see what is written there is if I am not happy I should be refunded!!! My rate for this shop is 0 points because of the customer service.

Refused to give us antibiotics for our son who had a abscess on his tooth and was in a lot of pain. The reason given was there was no signature on the prescription. There was a signature just in it was in slightly the the wrong place. We phoned 111 wasted nurses and doctors time but in the end took the prescription to Tesco’s pharmacy where there was no issue and they where very pleasant and polite.

The staff here are very straightforward in their approach to getting work done unfortunately they would not get five stars because they have a severe backlog and take a long time to resolve anything that simply due to workload I am not sure if there is anything they can do about it but it certainly isn't convenient standing around for a large amount of time or having to walk around the block or even come back a few days for it later

Where has Simon [pharmacist/manager]gone and all the dispensing assistants, always very helpful and polite.
The team now are generally grumpy and prescriptions never seem to be ready.Such a shame.

It was great to find a traditional fish and chip place to eat.we ate inside which was very cosy on a cold night.
Staff were very friendly and didn't take long for our food to arrive.
The fish was cooked to perfection ,chips were fluffy and tasty.Mush peas were like I remembered eating as a child ,correct colour and consistency, no weird green colour as in other places.
The menu was very clear and lots of great choices,will definitely call in again when visiting Poole.
Put the address in your GPS and call in when visiting the area, if you want well cooked traditional fish and chips,and being served by polite happy staff members.

Received one of the slowest services of my life here a couple of weeks ago! Three staff members and the pharmacist were all dealing with prescriptions, while the queue for over-counter products and payment tills kept on growing. When finally someone came over behind the till, there were no apologies or explanations! Sorry Boots for inconveniencing you! I would stop bothering you if the unfair competition games of big players had not forced the closure of two independent chemist shops nearby. Are you getting too big for your "boots" to care about your customers!! It certainly looks like it!!

I'm fed up with Boots messing up my prescriptions. They promise when the items will be in stock and they never arrive. Most of the staff are brusque bordering on rude. I'm moving my prescription delivery to another pharmacy

The queues in here are absolutely ridiculous these days! Joining a queue that is almost out of the door is the norm. Add to this that I haven't been appraised by text that my prescription is ready (since July 2019), which is something I relied on because of my condition - just makes me wish I could go elsewhere for them. This said at least the staff are all very friendly.
