I don’t think you can get better than this place. The setting is beautiful, the options are all inclusive, the therapists are either good or great (Hank and Lauren especially) there’s lots of walking and outdoor options, and a good balance of class and free time. The only bad thing is that the food is not very healthy, nothing but white bread and meat and vegetables doused in grease. Please have better options. But no one comes here to eat so that doesn’t change my opinion.

I had a very positive experience at the main campus and at Resolutions. The setting at the main campus is very peaceful and pleasing to the eye. The groups are mostly interactive and educational. The therapists have considerable insight and great personalities to match. I could not have picked a better place on which to begin building a solid foundation for my future.

Awesome experience and treatment team. Johnny is absolutely wonderful, I have never had an experience with a therapist quite like him. Laura Merrill is a magnolia blossom in a gulf storm, so enlightening and peaceful. More so, the community is so empowering. I have made some amazing friends that I hope and plan to keep life long. “One addict helping another is unparalleled...”. If you’re struggling like I was I highly recommend OTC. Also, my decision to do thirty days at the Etta campus and an additional 30 at Resolutions was the best choice I’ve ever made!

My daughter spent 45 days at the treatment center in Etta and 45 days at Resolutions. It was a life-changing experience for her. She learned so much from the classes and groups, and really valued the insight from her therapists. The equine therapy was so great for her and she misses the horses! As a mom, I am so grateful for Oxford and the change in my daughter's life.

This was my time in treatment. I was so scared and nervous to go to rehab at all but was encouraged by work family and friends. When I arrived at the Oxford treatment center they welcomed me with kindness and support. If I needed anything at all they were there. Then I moved to Resolutions. Nervous living with 12 other people, but they became like family very quickly. The staff is just awesome. Laura Merrill, Johnny and Lauren B. Went above and beyond to help me through the hardest times. Shelby- is dedicated to her work and also is there when you just need a listening ear! In all the whole staff is just wonderful. They are the best and truly were there to help you and listen in anyway they can. Please if you are still in active addiction or know a family member or someone who is needing help, I highly Recommend Oxford treatment! They will forever hold a special place in my heart ❤️

First time rehab, this is a good place. Enjoyed most of the staff and shout outs to Ralph, Fred & Lindy. Med line needs some attention and food is good assuming budget is tight

I would not recommend this rehab. Every procedure is extremely inconsistent. Medical care is very insufficient. The food potions are very small and inadequate. Every single bed in ever single cabin is old, the springs are about to bust through and absolutely kill your back. American Addiction Center tells you lies in order to get you to go here. I have a few days left and my discharge date cannot come quick enough. Update: standing in line for lunch and seven employees were in there getting lunch and they all took out veggie dipping trays. Tell me how this is okay? We are paying a lot of money to be here we as patients should have the availability to get food before employees clear it out for themselves.

Staff are amazing and a lot of them have gone through or are going through the same thing we have. Kitchen staff create amazing meals and are willing to take suggestions! All the counselors are super caring and willing to help anyone and the business office is always willing to do what they can. Beautiful campuses and the horse therapy is great! Would recommend to anyone trying to change their life!

I love the program. If one class didn’t work for someone there is another that would. They have different types of therapy for you to choose to go to. Sometimes the communication between the staff can be a little bit of a cluster. But over all the program itself was a good program. I enjoyed my time there. The food is decent and the staff are friendly. For the most part you feel as welcome as you can considering the circumstances. I hope I don’t have to go back but I would recommend for sure.

I want to say this journey was very scary and unknown for our loved one. But through this treatment and this center our family member has found themselves again. They have been able to face the problems that caused their addiction to alcohol. The nursing staff , doctors , therapists gave them the tools that saved my family members life. The staff is understanding educated them and us to help them successfully. I would highly recommend them to anyone suffering with addiction. But don't think this is a miracle they have to do the work and want it for themselves. They have to take accountability and accept the help. It is easy for them to run from things and this facilities gave them healthy lifestyle choices, routine and structured life again. They helped us and gave our family tools and resources to set boundaries for healthy recovery. We grew together and are now back together stronger and helping support them. This facilities is amazing !! They offer so much to help your love one find healthy therapy with the horses, walking, and groups with understanding and compassion. This staff is passionate, caring and invested in truly helping your loved ones.

The Oxford Treatment Center is the best thing that could have happened to me. I tried to stop using on my own, and I was never successful for more than a couple of weeks. The staff here cares about the patients, and all of the counselors are extremely knowledgeable about recovery. Martinese, Laura Merrell, and Johnny are all amazing therapists that make you feel like long term recovery is very possible if you put in the work!

Really have enjoyed my stay here at the Oxford treatment center. I’m so pleased with staff and more importantly the therapists. When my mom had called fo see if there were any openings they said come on in that same day. If that didn’t happen I am not sure where I would be today or who knows if I would even still be here. I am so thankful for all the knowledge I have received so far and can not wait to get out to use it. I am so nervous yet excited to be leaving the community but I always know I have a second home if I ever need any extra help. I could not be more pleased in all honesty with how well they run there facility. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is struggling. ❤️

Great therapist and staff at Resolutions. Some of the administration was frustrating, but overall good. The food were given isn’t convenient. We received large bulk food items for each cabin that was a nightmare trying to divide. The cans of food we received were the large bulk cans that can’t be used for individual use. Most of the vegetables and fruit we received were already rotten. The cabins and rooms were nice and comfortable Great staff and therapists!!

As cliche as it sounds, this program and facility truly saved my life. I completed 30 days at the residential program in Etta before I moved to the Oxford location, Resolutions, for another 60 days. I didn’t realize how many underlying issues I needed to work through until I got to Resolutions and started working with the therapists and the community. I recommend Oxford Treatment Center to anyone and everyone who will listen. My therapists, counselors, groups, and peers helped me, not only stay sober, but also to dig deep into emotional trauma that contributed to my alcohol and drug use. I have a whole new outlook on life and my future doesn’t seem dark and hopeless anymore. Oxford Treatment Center has given me a chance to find and like my true self and the tools to continue with a successful life in recovery! I’m beyond lucky to have had the opportunity to start my recovery at OTC.

Both treatment centers, Etta and Resolutions, were overall amazing places to go. I learned so much about myself, others, and addiction itself. From the social aspect, medication assisted treatment, therapy, once you get to Resolutions being able to cook for yourself, etc., I really enjoyed it all. Of course every place has its downfalls but i would 100% recommend OTC forever! This place saved my life!

Overall my stay at Oxford Treatment Center in Etta, Mississippi was a good experience. I was very fortunate to meet some other clients who will be lifelong friends. The friendships you make there are crucial to being able to remain engaged in a seven day a week program. Most of the staff there are kind and professional. The Detox nurses Presley and Pat, the day nurse at Hickory, Jeff, and the TA’s at Hickory Lendy and Ralph are all outstanding people who went above and beyond their job roles to be caring and helpful at all times and they should be recognized by OTC for always doing so. They should be promoted to run the facility. Some other staff members are rude and antagonistic to people like me who are sensitive in such early recovery and they should be fired by now. The groups were okay (some of them) but many were just hour long time wasting sessions or they were dominated by some patients who cannot control their tongues and are allowed to take over the group by staff that refuse to handle those patients and stop them from disrupting the session constantly. Individual therapy is nonexistent. The few hour long sessions I had for individual counseling were worthless and I wish I had not had to even attend those. The therapists are neither capable nor effective and I believe they are unqualified to fill that role based on my experiences with them. I never received one single real counseling session. The food is terrible at OTC. The facility has decided to use the cheapest food vendor they can find so the meals are of poor quality, and they rotate through constantly the same things on a four day rotation, and clients end up being hungry all the time or sick from the bad food. I feel that we are paying too much to be provided food that bad. Good food should be a primary focus for a rehab since most people detoxing off drugs and alcohol are in desperate need of good nutrition to help them heal and get better. You’ll eat the food eventually when you get so hungry but this is unacceptable for any rehab to cheap out on a vital component of recovery. OTC also needs to bid out their vending machine route to someone who wants to service it and make money as the machines were closed for half of my stay there. Clients should be able to purchase snacks and soft drinks since the food provided at meals is so bad. This problem should be solved. Most of the staff is good but the ones who aren’t really can ruin your day for no reason at any point. I would say that what I gained from 30 days at the OTC Etta campus was a decent medical detox (I could not have stopped using without that or I would have died likely), 30 days of physical sobriety, some really great friends that I hope to know for a long time, a pack and a half plus a day cigarette habit, and a love for horses (even though you only get to ride three or four times total if you stay 30 days). I could have done without the ineffective and lazy so-called individual therapy sessions, the myriad daily groups that just waste time, the totally horrible food that you have to eat or starve, the inability to purchase soft drinks and snacks of any kind, having to walk three plus miles a day to inefficient groups that meet all over the campus for no good reason, the extremely high cost of attending the program even with good insurance coverage, and the rude staff members always causing problems and confrontations for no reason other than to be mean or cruel. I would recommend this program for the medical detox alone but I would advise researching other program options if you are looking for an actual clinical recovery program.

My stay at Oxford treatment center was amazing. The housing is very nice, the counselors are understanding and down to earth. Food was provided to cook group meals every night. The classes are very informative and self-revealing. My favorite class is Yoga!! I definitely recommend this place for anyone to try if they are looking for peace and sobriety.

As the Chief Executive Officer of a similar program I would like to personally acknowledge CEO Mark Sawyer for his efforts and success in running at top notch program which results in saving lives. His leadership style and ability to remain calm and focused during these unprecedented global pandemic times has proven to highly effective. I feel more than comfortable referring patients to his facility while under his caring embrace. Highly recommend

I just got home a couple weeks ago from a 2 month stay here, I spent a month at Etta and a month at Resolutions. I was impressed with my stay here and how helpful and caring the staff were. I’ve gained so much from the groups and I really enjoyed the scenery at Etta. Both therapists I had were beyond great! I’m grateful to have had this experience to get my life back on track, I’ve struggled for years trying to do so on my own, this place did a number in my life.

i really appreciate all of the support i received at OTC!! i want to give a special thanks to my counselor Ron, my therapist Lauren, and all of the friendly, non-judgemental faces that helped me through this rough time in my life: Wesley, John, Dee, Leigh, Kim, Wanda and Stephanie!! they each played a very important part in my recovery. the only problems i had here is with the medical aspect. i'm now on blood pressure medicine because my bp has been elevated since i've been here and i've never had a problem with my bp in my life. i was going into shock because of how high it got, and i should have been taken to the hospital (170/123). other than that, and the lack of good food options, OTC is a great place to be!!

This is a great place I would recommend to anyone in need and wants help. Yes you run into immature people who do immature things everywhere you go. But at The Oxford Treatment Center is some of the best of the best care you will receive in rehab they treat you with care and compassion. And the scenery is amazing it is definitely a calming place!!

I have never been treated so poorly in my life. Missy, the night charge nurse, completely degraded me and made me feel less than human. After someone else got drugs mailed in, she proceeded to accuse everybody. She called me illicit names and threatened me physically. Even as tears poured down my face, she continued to belittle and insult me. I understand we are addicts, but we should not be treated this way when we are seeking help. In addition, it is the staff’s responsibility to thoroughly search any mail being sent to patients. Sadly, their negligence and inability to properly search a package lead to an overdose. This facility is borderline dangerous for clients because they do not conduct proper searches when someone is admitted nor when someone receives mail. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

My experience at Oxford Treatment Center (Resolutions) was excellent. The therapists were very effective in addressing my individual needs as well as facilitating group therapy in a manner that was very healing. Meditation, education on addiction/therapy, process groups, and individual therapy were the most helpful to me. I was able to work on past trauma and learn ways to help me cope with the challenges life brings. All of the staff members are very professional, caring, and attentive to patient needs. The facility is clean and runs efficiently on a daily basis. I have been to two other treatments centers and I highly recommend Resolutions to anyone struggling with addiction.
