Otc is a great facility. With experienced and well educated people who understand what is needed to help us addicts, like Johnny, Laura and Larry. The living spaces are very nice and clean. They treat us as much as adults as they can. They have lots of physical things to do like basketball, volleyball, cornhole, and more. My thanks goes out to Oxford treatment center and everyone there for giving me the tools I need to help pursue a happier way of living.

It was a great stay here at resolutions, and i really enjoyed the meditation and yoga here. I was really able to open up and really express my emotions, even when i didn't know how to. This place has a lot of great skills to offer you. It is a great place to be if you are serious about your recovery.

I learned a lot. The staff was excellent and the counselors were very knowledgeable and came with a different perspective. They didn't shove 12 step down and religion down your throat. Overall I would recommend this facility if you're struggling with addiction.

My experience here at Oxford Treatment Center was way more than I expected. Upon arrival I wasn't really excited about being in treatment, but I leave not only with a much different attitude, but also with a lot of great tools to carry me on my new journey of sobriety. The detox team, nurses , therapist & business staff all truly cared about my recovery and gave me phenomenal care. I will forever be grateful for all those at Oxford Treatment Center who played a role in helping me gain sobriety.

I Went to Oxford Treatment Center when I was 50 years old. Like most people, after I hit my own personal rock bottom. In a lot of pain after drinking my whole life. The therapists and counselors were outstanding. I learned a lot about alcoholism addiction, and myself. My counselor, Ricky Clayton changed my life, and gave me the tools to live sober. I don’t think I appreciated it as much at the time, because I was in pain, lost and broken. As I am writing this, I have been sober over two and a half years. I saved my marriage, gained the trust of my family. I am very active in...the program, and working with other alcoholics. I feel good and I am truly happy.

What a great experience. From the strength of the community atmosphere to the therapy and group meetings, I can not say anything negative about this place. The peaceful landscape, hiking, and horses add to the overall experience. I would strongly recommend the Oxford Treatment Center for anyone that is dealing with substance abuse.

Oxford Treatment Center was by far the best treatment facility I have ever attended. I spent a combined total of 90 days between their residential facility in Etta, MS and their outpatient facility in Oxford, MS. The level of care I received at both facilities was excellent. The counselors and therapists were extremely qualified and the skills I learned while there are immeasurable. Their approach is to not only treat your addiction, but also to treat you as a "whole person". They use various forms of treatment such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Treatment and Holistic Treatment techniques to teach you new "approaches to life". I hands down recommend OTC for any and all that really want to get sober and have a new start on life. Five starts all the way!

I believe that Oxford treatment center really helped me learn who I am as a person and came to terms with learning about addiction. I love the Resolutions campus which is a part of Etta. The therapist, the staff, and the people all really come together to make sure that your experience is that best one yet. I am so grateful for my time here and I am proud to be apart of the Alumni Program as well. Thanks OTC! Love, Bri

I just want every person to know if they are struggling with a drink or a drug that willingness to ask for help along with the tools / environment this place provides just saved my life. I will be forever grateful! I also want to give a special thanks to every staff member from medical staff, treatment team, all the way to the cleaning staff; you truly helped. I want to give a special thanks to Mr. Wesley. Our therapy sessions opened me up to levels of awareness I have not had in years. You played a implicit roll in the growth I have now writing this. Having recalled every staff members name please know you would be on this list. Whole heartedly I’d like Ambrielle, Hank, Lee, Detox Staff in its entirety, Ralph (TA), and finally the cleaning lady that covers big lodge (My apologies for forgetting the name), all aided in my growth! Please keep up the great work! Best regards, Nick

Was a great fit for my loved one. The therapists are all good. If someone enjoys the outdoors, this is the place for them. Ropes, equine therapy, pavilions, and walking trails. Diverse group and ages. No place like this will ever be perfect but I had comfort knowing my loved one was here.

Overall this is a very nice place, very laid back yet serious. Very very beautiful, serene, and peaceful. There’s a lake with ducks and pavilions with rocking chairs and picnic tables. The cabins are very nice and cozy. The staff are very helpful and amazing. Claire, TJ, Deja, Jim and Hank are no doubt the best. You can tell the difference between the ones who are just at work and those who really care. The ropes coarse is super fun, art therapy was good, and they also have a LGBTQ+ Class which is awesome. There’s meditation, yoga, and a gym. I’m not into horses but there’s equine therapy also. The food was pretty decent, like upscale cafeteria food. Depending on your taste it is hit or miss. Your allowed your cell phone and tobacco and vape products. There are plenty of breaks in between classes and meetings. Dinner is at 4:30pm and after that you have the rest of the day free. The only downfalls are the lines and the walking. You have to wait in line to eat and get meds. The cabins are approximately 1/4 of a mile away from the cafeteria and most classes. It’s a whole lot of walking. There is a one tv available on each cabin but there isn’t any cable, package, or DVD player . Bring a fire stick or laptop if you need your tv. The pros definitely outweigh the cons. Go in with a open heart and open mind.

Oxford treatment center’s admissions dept is amazing. All team members are caring people who go out of their way to help people change their lives. I am so proud to be a part of the AAC family, to be part of a department that works nationwide to help people in recovery.

It’s scary, making the first step. This place has been a safe place, with most everything I have at home. Plenty of time to work on addiction and yourself, and time to relax, watch Netflix or whatever! It’s great because it’s laid back. Definitely saved my life and took me away from the world, so I can focus on my addiction! Staff and set-up is 5 stars! I really like this because we’re adults and get treated as if, not a whole bunch of nit-picky rules. Also a detox, where you get time and supervision to come back around. Definitely would recommend to a friend or love one!

Amazing facility! And even better staff! This place really does focus on the root cause of the problem. Getting sober is tough, and the staff at Oxford Treatment Center know that, so they went over and above to make sure that I was comfortable and all my needs were met. Special shout-out to Therapist Laura Merrill McCaleb and Alumni Coordinator John Keyes. These people saved my life!

I really enjoyed the intake process. It was fast and easy. However I did not like having to wait till the next morning before I could start my taper and that's if they approve it. I can to the treatment in full withdrawal and needed the medicine right then. But I survived and was treated the following morning. Some of the staff were lazy and not too friendly but majority of them were amazing and went above and beyond to help me with whatever I needed. I only did the detox portion so can not comment on the residential part. But overall I really thought it was a decent place to go. Oh they allow u to have your phones but the reception is horrible.

The facility was really nice. The nurses, therapist, case workers, and physicians were excellent as well. You could tell some of the staff really cared for the patients. However, due to Covid-19, we as patients did not have access to the services that were once provided. We were on lockdown and were confined to the cabin and had to be in close proximity to the cabin. the patints were actually doing outpatient in an inpatient setting. We were doing our meeting with therapist via a Zoom-like platform. Communicaton was also lacking. I had a positive experience in detox.

I don't have anything negative to say about OTS. This was an experience I will not forget. I am so grateful to have gone to a facility like this. The staff all seemed genuinely there to help addicts learn how to handle recovery and teach us how to manage our lives without our DOC. I learned so much more than anticipated when i came into OTC and will be forever grateful.

Firstly, my councelor larry in oxford, gave invaluable therapy. Invoking the latest in theraputic knowledge with a very kind, understanding heart and a perfect ear. Johnny Mcmillan was also extremely helpful in larger group. He presented himself with genuinely and shared of his personal struggle with recovery, that made identification easy. Also the T.A. named diamonds was amazing! Lastely, laura merrel's yoga was hugely beneficial. P.S. --- The gym was awesome

I NEVER write reviews. I feel with something as important as this, I should. Believe me when I tell you that I researched many facilities. This one seemed to have the most credentials. I overlooked the Chapter 11 they are currently going thru due to my business understanding of what that part of it is designed to do and should certainly have no affect on what a business has to offer any customer; just creditors. The good part about this place is what is most probably at most places. A handful of the counselors/therapists that are "in it to win it", or a true and dedicated want and yearning to TRULY help each and everyone there. The rest of the life lessons, believe it or not, you can truly get from all of the people that are sitting all around you! Fact! THE BAD....... 1. My wife reached out about their "family program" and didn't receive any follow-up until AFTER I was discharged. 2. It appears to be somewhat of a common practice here (probably at all) to discuss with your provider (insurance company) what the charges are for each week. I am one that doesn't really allow the person on the other side of the desk to summarize the 8 pages I am to sign. Although I could tell it annoyed the paper pusher seeking my signature, I read each page. When I got to the paragraph that said that if my provider didn't pay for something, then that balance would be on me! Okay. No problem. I simply requested to be able to review, each week, the results of those reports. I was told, "Sure. No problem." I was not contacted once. I watched MANY people get switched around on the level of care they received. It was not hard to figure out that their provider had adjusted what they were willing to pay. I was in the "Residential" part of the program. Doesn't get any better. HOWEVER, by me following up MYSELF, I found out that my provider had also adjusted their level of payment. A WEEK AND A HALF EARLIER!!!! Not sure if they have a balance stirring in the pot to drop on me, but I did listen to some poor soul tell me that they had arranged a 10 month payment plan with them that WAS NOT what they signed up for on day one!! Maybe that's not the best way to leave a treatment center! Strapped financially with almost a years worth of a monetary, contractual obligation!! 3. It becomes blatantly obvious that you feel that you are there for the dollar sign you represent for the company, not only by how you are handled, but hearing the other people along with you that have elected to be there. I think this is plenty long for a review and I have put out enough information to STRONGLY SUGGEST that if you are leaning towards this particular facility, I BEG OF YOU TO RESEARCH THIS PLACE A LITTLE BIT MORE!!!! Recovery is such an important thing and it should be. It can and should be a "game changer." My stay here was a success. NOT for the reasons above. What this business gave me, made it that much harder. Through the few therapists/counselors, my fellow patients, and mostly ME(which who it all boils down to) I left with all the tools I needed. That I feel like you get from every place! In parting, I must tip my hat to the nurses that admit you upon arrival, they are obviously shielded from the "business" side of this establishment or on contract! LOL They are truly the best. I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN TREATED BY BETTER NURSES UPON ADMITTANCE. There's my cards on the table. My decision was just as important as yours is now. That's why I thought I should take the time to send this review out.

I've been seeking treatment since 2018, and I had great experiences within the sober community in Texas, but I felt like this was home. Everyone was very kind as I went through my days of Resolutions. I never thought I'd end up in MS, but I'm certainly glad I did. If you do what they ask, follow the rules, and respect the process, you'll have very few problems. God forbid I need to get treatment again, I would still come back to Oxford.

My experience with oxford treatment center was the hardest and best thing that ever happened to me. I came in April of 2020 and left ama. When I returned, the staff was overjoyed to see me. They did not shame me for returning, nor make me feel unwelcomed. They all remembered me,even though it was 5 months later. I love the staff there, they meet you where you are at. They don't forced you, they lovingly work alongside you and sometimes push you to do the hard work. They helped me deal with my trauma in a safe, healthy environment. I would recommend attending all groups and therapy sessions with an open mind and heart. They will change your life if you let them. I also went to resolutions and man, that was where some real magic happened. I faced more of my trauma. Trauma caused me to use and by dealing with it and facing it, I am able to face my disease of alcoholism head on. Johnny and JJ pushed me to meet my treatment goals and met me where I was at. I learned so much here and I'll take it with me when I leave. I am leaving with a clear mind and an open heart. I am forever changed by my time here. I am not leaving as the person who walked through these doors 2 months ago. I am better for having known everyone here. Also, if you're with a great roommate appreciate them. If you're not, ask yourself what you can learn from them. In short, you won't regret your time here. Come to OTC, and it will change your life.

This was by far the best treatment center I have ever been to ever. There are always people who will complain or never be satisfied, but this is most certainly not my 1st or even 5th treatment center I have been to. It is though, the best one I have been to. Actually went there TWICE(reason being was because of my stubborn actions thinking i was smarter than my own addiction). It's great here because of the scenery, the knowledge they teach you, the cigarettes you can get mailed to you, the food is actually not too bad, you can keep your phone the whole time. Would give more starts if I could. This place will truly change your life if you allow it, that is a promise...

This place saved my life!!! The whole curriculum was extremely informative it was like going to college for addiction, I learned so much! The staff and the other patients were amazing. Then the campus itself makes you feel like your at a resort and that’s the nicest thing to feel compared to the tough stressful ways that we were all stuck in while in active addiction. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting help. Not only can you get scholarships to attend but they will pick you up from anywhere in the country! Call NOW

Over all I would recommend this place. They made sure to get my friend in ASAP which is good. They let you have your cell phone as well. I was able to talk to her everyday but downfall is the place has filed bankruptcy. They didnt even have their cable on due to lack of payment. They also ran out of medications for some of the clients which was very concerning. While admitting her, they stated she could just go for detox or stay as long as she wants but when she went to leave bc her work started back (she was their for a few weeks) they considered her AMA which means her insurance won’t cover it. Which we would have known that in the beginning. Also the computers were down so she wasn’t even able to get her discharge papers the day she left and she really needed that to return to work. she said the meetings and information was good there and she liked the staff. So that’s plus. They just need to get their stuff together because this is peoples lives they are messing with.
