Unprofessional and extremely careless establishment. You can tell this place is unethical and sketchy based on the fact that they obviously force their new employees to leave a Google review for the company in order to create the false belief that this is a great business. However, it is definitely not. They do not follow protocol, nor do they take responsibility for their actions. I wouldn't be surprised if a wrongful death class action is in this company's future. Do not leave your loved one's in the hands of these inexperienced and careless people.

I've been working at Beaufont for about a month. Although a short amount of time, I have been welcomed and treated with kindness by every staff member. Each department is always working hard to provide a home-like experience for the residents. I look forward to coming into work.

I have seen employees come and go from this facility within months. This is a seriously under budgeted facility once independently run, but now owned and operated by Medical Facilities of America. Do not be fooled by the facility's warming welcome parlor and spotless appearance. Take ten or fifteen minutes and walk to the right towards the long term care side at night, and sit and wait and watch the light above the doors. They blink for sometimes a total of a half hour before a resident is helped to eat, dress, get into bed - basic things the they were put into the facility for! To put your family member in this facility, I would recommend only short term care because the physical therapy is excellent; however, there is a serious case of neglect here that is covered up during the day for authority figures, and it is disturbing to think most of it is done to the people who lived there permanently. The additional money in care and supplies that families have to bring to accommodate their loved ones when they are already paying thousands (sometimes barely covered by Medicaid/ Medicare/Humana, and additionally the home taking the entirety of their SS so they can not buy themselves basic snacks/ health and beauty products/ activities so that they have to win games and buy dollar store items from the very obviously under budgeted activity center.) I go in there to help my mother and the director is sitting behind the desk typing while the residents pour themselves coffee, and during the day doing the same while they throw a beanbag into an old hoop for fake money. Not to mention the budget is so low all around that the food is like a middle school cafeteria, the long term residents never leave the facility (insurance restrictions that can't be paid out), and the supplies runs so low that they squeeze residents into a medium size diaper when they need an extra large. There are a few genuine nurses, dietary, and housekeeping staff that genuinely care about the wellness of those who live there; however, the administration is more concerned to get out of there by four on the dot and flaunting their $120 Michael Kors flats while yelling at a minimum wage worker to clean the floors better when she probably hasn't pushed that a day in her career - wait - on the way out at 3:59. IF YOUR FAMILY MEMBER IS YOUR PRIORITY THEN YOUR FAMILY WILL NOT BE TREATED LIKEWISE HERE. Last thing, I have to make a fake Google account to post an honest review for those in the market out of fear my mother will be treated negatively due to it. Petty. Look elsewhere.

Beaufont Health and Rehab Center is the premier center for rehab services in the Richmond area. The staff are knowledgable and friendly, the building is spotless, and the care is second to none. You can rest assured your loved ones are cared for and cared about here!

My Mother's stay was great. Thanks to Chad, Kelly, Lisa, Gale, and the kitchen staff for all of their efforts. This facility is led by a warm and caring man, Dana, whose door is always open.

My original comment had been taken down, and I care so greatly about other people in recovery I had to repost to warn about this facility. They had probably paid Google to take it down because it spoke so much truth about the inner working of it. I have seen employees come and go from this facility within MONTHS. It is unfortunate for the patients in short-term who are caught in between providers, and also those in long-term care who miss out on consistency. From a patient's end I could observe the disfunction it created in the workplace. This is a laborous job, and it was clear that the administration had never worked in an entry level hospital position due to their lack of compensation, understanding, and commitment to their employees. They certianly made it seem like anyone was replaceable. It is no wonder CNAs/nurses were unmotivated to answer a bell call, as some stay blinking for more than 30 minutes before they were answered most patients waiting to use the restroom. The UTI and bed sore count was high due to a lack of time sensitivity to that need. Either horrible management or just another bad assisted living bought out by Medical Facilities of America. The entire home is under funded. Given budget restrictions from the owning company, Humana, Medicaid, etc., they barely meet the needs of their patients let alone the employees. Squeezing patients into medium sized diapers when they need an extra large because they are waiting for the next shipment or next allotment... disturbing!! Patients forced to make the best of the worst of the activities, while many would rather stay in bed until they leave. Wrong food given to patients on a daily basis, lost clothes from housekeeping, people with my clothes on their body... Unless you regularly plan to visit your loved one DO NOT CHOOSE BEAUFONT HEALTH AND REHAB!! It takes additional money and time to make up for what this half-of-a-facility should provide with what is already being paid for! You can get much better care elsewhere. It is really is a shame because it's the patients who miss out on their recovery... and that's what it's about getting better.

Facility Staff provided excellent care to my father as well as my grandmother. Both have been there on multiple occasions and have returned home stronger and independent.

OMG where do I start for one the head nurse JEN is the worst to come by. I feel if you hate your job quit there are plenty of people whom need a job and would be more kind and compassionate about it. She act LIKE you are bothering her when you go to ask her a question then she tells you she is going to do something and don't she was supposed to call the drug store and fill an prescription for my family member whom was discharged that morning she never did then when i called to talk to her her attitude was down right nasty and she kept sending over the wrong info then at one point she sent over another person info what ever happened to HIPPA law. Then when i called back another nurse answer and told me they get complaints all the time on JEN FOR THE SAME THING. Why is she still working if it wasent for CVS being on point and realized the mistake Jen made it could have been really bad situation. So i will be calling BBB on this company in the morning because its sunday. And the staff there some of the girls that work there are so unprofessional it was scary they walk around talking all kinds of home problems which should not be talked on the floor there attitude as well was very nasty some of THEM smacking on gum sounding like a cow, some scrubs was dirty looking or to tight. It was a total nightmare this place very unprofessional i would never send my family back there bet yet i wouldn't send a wounded pet there........this place should be shut down or called rachett city rehab....... because it's a joke.... if i could give this place a no star i would have.........you guy's get a big fat zero........ maybe i need to call county on this place....

This place is an absolute joke !! I wouldn't board my dog Here .... the nurses are unskilled and unprofessional...during a short stay of a family member we witnessed patients being given wrong medications , were handed several napkins when we requested toilet paper and was told they were out , were lucky to get a shower once a week , we were also told they were out of other personal supplies such as depends,soap,shampoo...on more than one occasion they ran out of food therefore if you wanted to eat you had to settle for whatever mystery meat they put on your plate ....the gentleman across the hall had a horrible bathroom blow out durning the night and was left all night for the next shift to clean up ....discusting.........then to put a cherry on top ....when my family member was discharged the so called nurse that did her discharge illegally faxed ( i.e.. no Prescribing doctor name as well as other information required when ordering medication )a quarter of heher prescriptions and because she waited so late my family member had to go without medication that should have been taken ....in closing I would fear for the safety of the residents / patients of this facility...should do a total sweep of the staff

Beaufont is a dirty facility with a lack of adequate administration and leadership. Do not place a loved one here. They will not be properly cared for.
