Dr. Truong is truly one of a kind! This is in terms of her more holistic/integrative approach to healing. If you are looking for an alternative to "treat them and street them," I recommend her practice. My husband saw her recently for his severe back and hip issues. After a thorough exam, she said that his condition was mostly likely in need of surgery and that he was beyond and of her treatment modalities. We really appreciated her honesty -- rather than try to bilk us for treatments that probably would not work. She also checked his inflammation response level which is an interesting marker. The downside? She does not take Medicare and we had to pay for everything out of our own pocket. And I believe that most of her alternative treatments (like prolotherapy) are not covered by any insurance. There are not many holistic type doctors in our area so we are lucky that her practice is here.

I have been going here for years for chronic pain. The trigger point injections and medical massage have helped me tremendously and allowed me to not rely on medication. The staff are sweet and helpful, Lisa the medical massage therapist is the best I have ever been to, and Dr. Truong is knowledgeable and very helpful. I recommend Truong Rehab to anyone who needs it!

I've been a patient at Truong Rehabilitation Center for over 5 years. My first procedure there was Plasma Rich Platelet injections to my knee. It was a great success and my knee has never given me a problem since. I've also had the 3-series Vampire Facial which turned back the hands of time and I go every month for trigger point injections to my lower back. Dr. Truong is EXTREMELY knowledgeable in the field of pain management. She is straight forward and tells you exactly what you can expect. I am an extremely active 61 year old who plans to continue my relationship with Dr. Truong so that I can continue to live my life as healthfully & actively as I can, as long as I can. The Fredericksburg area is extremely fortunate to have the calibre of Dr. Truong reside and work here. Not only is she a seasoned & expert practitioner to her patients but is a sought after trainer to other medical doctors throughout the United States.

As a lot of men in there 60's I was experiencing serious ED issues. I've been to numerous doctors who prescribed a number of ED meds. None of them worked very well. I didn't know where to turn for help. While researching my problem I discovered the Truong Rehab Center. I had never heard of a P-Shot or shockwave treatments. As I was getting so depressed about my issue, I had to try this cutting edge treatment. I am SO glad I did. These treatments are remarkable. Dr. Truong's treatment and her prescribed meds have changed my life completely for the better.

I’ve been coming here for many years for severe muscle pain in the neck and shoulders which at the beginning caused severe migraines and shooting pain at the base of my skull. Eventually the muscle tension gravitated to my Eustachian tube which began to impact my hearing due to a feeling of pressure buildup in my ear (just like being on an airplane). Without trigger point injections it would be very difficult to maintain a job or enjoy life but thanks to Dr. Truong I can now manage the pain with only one monthly injection.

From the moment you walk in the door, the front desk is extremely welcoming and personable. I never have a long wait time in the waiting room. Dr. Truong knows what she is doing and was able to make the pain go away in my foot with just one treatment.

Waste of money. If I cold give Dr Truong zero stars I would. My teenager has suffered from arm pain for many years. We went to see Truong last week for a very expensive not covered by insurance consultation. she recommend a couple of items that would be helpful to revealing the pain. Today we went for the first treatment. While Dr Truong's front office staff are wonderful and sweet, Dr Truong is a bully. She's abrasive and not at all interested in making a person suffering from an anxiety disorder and depression feel safe and comfortable. We were upfront about what my teenager suffers from and how things work better for her. We spoke to them after the consult and were told they would work with us. NOPE! Dr Truong said my teenager was not in a mindset that would be conducive to receiving treatment. In a very harsh and critical voice, she informed my teenager that "I don't have to treat you. It is my option to treat you." Well, it was my option to walk out the door with my teenager and NEVER EVER step foot in that place again. That's too bad because we were hopeful. I only recommend going there if you like to feel like you have been hit by a bus and the only thing that occurred was a consult. Both times, my teenager was left in tears feeling worse off when we left than when we arrived. AWFUL woman.

Dr. Truong has helped me greatly in dealing with chronic pain due to prior back surgeries. She has opened new avenues for dealing with it and always lends an ear when I need to talk. Her staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and willing to work with you. I also partake in the Medical massage program and have felt better for it. I have recommended this practice to friends.

I can not begin to tell you how MAGNIFICENT Dr. Truong is as a physician. I have been going to her for 5 years now. I have a head injury and a broken back as well as difficulty in my knees. She has not only addressed all of these areas for me but I now have the quality of life I have been lacking since my injury during a post operative visit. She will go out of the way to meet a patients needs. She listens and is quite jovial! If people have had difficulty with her personality I would wonder what kind of attitude they themselves came into the office?
She has the latest and the greatest when if comes to resources. I have injuries that no one else around here could begin to tackle and I can not sing her praises any more! You need to try her because you will get help, your life will improve, the pain will go away, or you can simply make yourself better there!!!! GO! GO GO! You will not regret it! You are getting the best in the area!

I have had the best experience here. Before coming to Truong Rehabilitation Center, my shoulder/back pain was so severe that I had trouble with my daily life. I couldn't extend my arm, bend over, or really extend my back at all without pain. The pain was constantly there. As a mom of three, I have an active life and I felt like I couldn't do as much with my children.
Dr. Truong was very attentive to me. She listened to everything I had to say and she made sure to examine me throughly to determine how to treat my problem. Dr. Truong determined that Trigger Point Injections (TPI) would be a good option for me. She was right! After 5 appointments and treatments, I no longer have constant pain. My day to day life has vastly improved and I am so grateful to Dr. Truong. I can play with my children and carry them around now without being in pain. The Trigger Point Injections were worth it and Dr. Truong did a reallygood job.
As a bonus, her staff is amazing. I always feel welcome in the office, and no matter who I speak with, everyone treats me as important and valued. Everyone at Truong Rehabilitation Center really wants to help and it gives you a great feeling while you are with them.

Dr. Truong has helped me so much! After having a bad fall a couple of months earlier, I could barely walk in to her office the first visit I was there. She recommended four weekly treatments for me. With each treatment, I got better and better. I have completed 3 of the 4 treatments so far and I am walking very well and feeling much more my old normal myself . Even my balance has gotten much better. She has used different methods including trigger point injections and acupuncture to help the severe muscle and nerve pain that I was feeling. I am so grateful that I went to see Dr. Truong. I am looking forward to my 4th of the four treatments.

Dr Troung is very knowledgeable and advanced beyond other doctors I saw for my foot problem. She does ultrasounds and x rays right at her office. I was looking for a non surgical option which she offered. She was also very nice and takes time to answer questions. I would recommend her to anyone.

I'd give a zero star f I could!! I made an appointment for IV treatments. My first appointment I was greeted by a nurse who took all of my information and history. She was very slow, and didn't know much about anything or thyroid diseases. She then informed me that the IV treatments were not happening that day. Dr. Truong came in and started with all of her questions. She ordered blood work, even though I brought lab results from recent tests. I scheduled to have the IV treatments starting the following week since they said they had to order them. The following week I received a phone call that they needed to cancel my appointment because the IV treatments had not arrived in the mail. I said never mind, I just want to cancel all treatments. I guess that got their attention and Dr. Truong called me! She said the medicine broke and was not a good seal so that's why they had to cancel. That seems questionable to me, in today's world they don't send medicines to a doctors office safely? And that wasn't what they said initially. I still said I wanted to cancel. I felt like I was getting into a mess. Who was telling the truth? And how many appointments would they be cancelling in the future? I have yet to be credited the amount they charged me. It's been over a month! I feel like they just want the money! Now I have to go through a bunch of things to get my money back! Do not go here! They will take your time and money!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Troung for over 3 years. Started back in 2016 after my 2nd failed back surgery. My neck went out somewhere along the way and she started treating me for that as well. I’m back again after trying another doctor and a 3rd surgery and trying to avoid neck surgery. This office offers so much more than what other pain management or rehabilitation centers that I’ve encountered. I have no doubt she’ll have me feeling better!

Best Massage Therapist and Front Desk Staff ever! Lisa is an amazing massage therapist. I have benefited greatly from massage therapy with her. I can move more freely with much less pain. I was treated by Dr. Anne Truong a few years ago for unbearable back pain. I was on vacation and my back was so painful I could barely walk. Dr. Truong treated me even though it was a Saturday and the office was closed. She was very thorough with her examination and treatment. I got so much relief that I was able to continue my vacation with 8 hours drive to Hilton Head in the car the next day! Dr. Truong is also very knowledgeable in other areas of pain management. She treated my husband with extreme pain in his knee and provided much-needed relief. I trust Dr. Truong and was grateful she was compassionate and capable when we really needed help.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Dr. Truong has given me hope for a semi normal life again. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I was in a car accident almost 10 yrs ago. I had severe whiplash and had a C5-C6 full disc replacement. I did chiropractic care for 3 yrs 3 times a week, I have done PT like 8 times over the years. I had severe burning sensation in my neck and shoulders for the entire time. I got kicked off chiropractic care which launched my migraines into to hyper drive which led me to seek the help of a Neurologist. My muscles were solid as rocks and began Trigger Point Injections (TPI). Over the last 6 yrs, the TPI have just gotten me barely through life with no relief in sight. When I moved to Virginia, I was referred to Dr. Truong and have been thrilled ever since. For the last 10+ years, my daily pain level was always a 7-8. Today my daily pain level is a 4. I have never been a 4 in all of 10 years and I owe it all to Dr. Truong and her amazing staff.

I decided to give this place a second chance after 2 years of not coming here. Huge mistake!!!! Last appointment they asked me to come in early and then I waited over an hour. Today I waited 45 minutes and the doctor never came in. I thought at first that Dr. F was nice but he is the one I waited on both times. The staff seemed nice but every single person was new. There is no longer any physical therapy here and staff changes often. The massage therapist "A" is great (I do hope you get out and find a better place to work) It had been a long exhausting week (a family member died) and someone had to drive me today which took time out of their schedule and mine as well as time away from my family. I won't make the mistake of coming back and giving this place another chance. Dr Troung should learn to treat her patients as humans instead of cash cows. No apology - no explanation. Poor management.

Also to Dr. Truong you should learn to treat your staff better. Mabey then they would stay longer then a few months. I would never recommend this place to anyone! There are other places you can go. I had severe neck pain since my early twenties due to 2 major traumas. I had seen doctors throughout the years. I am in my fifties now. Recently the pain became too much to bear. I went to my orthopedist who suggested fusing my neck but recommended I see a pain management doctor before. The pain management doctor tried several different treatments which were unsuccessful. He then suggested I see Doctor Troung. I am so happy I did. Years and years of horrible pain are completely nonexistent now.
Because of this treatment, I will see Dr. Troung before any conventional doctor. She will definitely tell you if you need to see someone else. Very honest about the work she does. I would highly recommend you give her a try before you do anything drastic.

Great place. I started Dr. Truongs MedFit plan. After 18 weeks I lost 40 pounds. I feel great, more energy!! I am able to ride rides at Kings Dominion again and enjoy it. Earlier this year before starting MedFit, I thought I was going to have to stop riding because I was getting to the level that I could barely fit in the seat. I have been coming here for years. I Do feel now is the time to speak up about this women. Dr. Truong it's not only rude and hatful to her patients , but absolutely terrible to her staff! thats why she can't keep them. I have witnessed her first hand yelling and belittling them in front of other patients. After learning that she fired one of the best nurses that ever walk through her door and one of the best nurses that I have met whose name is Shannon , I will no longer be returning to her nor will some of my friends who go here. I think the people that gave her the Woman Ambassador award would be very interested to know how she treats the woman of her staff. I do believe Dr Truong is a truly evil woman with a hateful heart and she and she alone is the reason that the staff will not stay! I do hope to see this amazing nurse in the future. But if not I know God has wonderful plans for you my dear.

I've been coming to Dr. Truong for over a decade, she has helped me manage my MS and improve my quality of life,I had tried many others and wasn't getting anywhere,since I've been under her care I have gone from using a walker with very little mobility to using a cane with much more mobility and freedom,I am now able to swim up to a1/2 mile a day and workout ad much as I want to in the gym and spend quality time with my kids and Dr. Truong has been there to guide me along every step of the way in this fight against MS, I don't know where I would be without her help

I was referred to Dr. Truong's office after I had a major spill on the tennis court. I've "sprained" my ankle playing tennis before, but never like this. I was afraid that I'd have to give up the sport that had brought such joy to my life. After meeting with Dr. Truong and reviewing my MRI test results, she recommended that I get the PRP procedure on my ankle. It was a successful procedure and I'm playing tennis again with renewed enthusiasm and confidence in that ankle, thanks to her. I have recommended her office many times over and will continue to do so.

Dr. Truong has helped me tremendously with multiple painful issues over the years. First, she CURED my chronic elbow pain with acupuncture and electrical stimulation, after an orthopedist advised surgery. She helped manage my pain during my recovery from a severe spinal infection. Then, when I thought I was heading for a knee replacement due to advanced arthritis, she CURED me with Platelet-Rich Plasma and physical therapy. I always recommend people see her for treatment to decrease chronic pain and potentially avoid orthopedic surgery. Yes, she can be a bit rushed in her office and be a bit behind, but I am prepared to wait to get treatment that works!

I came to Dr Truong in 2012 walking with a cane because of bone on bone joint pain in my left knee and a torn meniscus. Over a 1 year treatment period with PRP and guided rehab by the Truong staff, I eventually recovered to a point of full use and limited pain. During the period between 2013 and 2107 I even became active in Sprint Triathlons and last year competed in 6 events finishing 4th in my age group in the Sprint Series for Maryland and Virginia. I recommend her highly. If you are serious about using alternatives to surgery, and using your own body to heal injuries, see Dr. Truong!.

Go anywhere but here! Dr. Truong has the worst God-complex of any doctor I've ever met. Her bedside manner is atrocious, rude, curt and abrasive. She's more interested in being right than helping anything but her pocket book. I saw her a handful of times because I didn't want to make any snap judgements but I would rather be in pain than ever see her again!

Not only did Dr. Troung provide excellent service, her staff did as well. I can't express myself enough, for my gratitude with this organization. Since my mommy had my brother she has been in terrible pain. She also has been suffering from PTSD, panic attacks and depression. She used to be active and now she cant move, but because of her mental illness (which happened because she was abused very badly by her stepdad and he spent time in jail for the suffering he caused her)....Because she didnt quite take the time out to understand her illness she refused to treat her and instead cast her away like garbage. The Dr. actually told her that her hips are out of alignment and her spine has curved causing pain but she needs to go fix her head?!?! She has been in counseling and has come a long way and is still working on the healing process from what she suffered and endured from the age of 8-18. I get to watch my mom try so hard to make us happy with tears in her eyes because she wants to scream out in pain..I can tell that the pain has consumed her life. My mom used to do sports and crafty things and now she lays on the floor for comfort and takes Tylonal and Ibuprofen over and over again.
I dont recommend this place because she discriminates. My mom has been suffering long enough and should not be punished because she has PTSD and has to have a little extra understanding instead Dr Truong tells her to go get her head fixed first; but the pain is affecting her mental illness causing it to be worse. The worst Dr we ever met; DO NOT SEEK TREATMENT FROM TRUONG IF YOU ALSO HAVE A MENTAL ILLNESS. It's so crappy to watch my mom deteriorate and break more; reach out for help and get cast away just like what happened to her during the 10 years she begged for help just to be called liar. Either she has no understanding the pain can make it difficult to recover from her issues cause the pain overwhelmes her. I will pray for Dr Truong to maybe one day understand that individual ppl need individual plans for their mixture of individual problems. Again, dont seek her if you have any type of mental illness; She would have to take extra care for my mom but thats just too much work and she seems prejudice against dealing with them kind of ppl.!! I hope my mom never ever goes back to that place again cause she feels soo dejected. She should call the news and get this out because that refusing service but still charging my moms Medicare Card and she didnt even recieve help; she just got badgered more
