I had an appointment for eye test. The consultation was fine but I had to wait half-hour more.
When I had to collect my glasses they made an appointment so I've been in time for collection but unfortunately my glasses wasn't ready for collection. I was very upset because they didn't text me to inform me about delay. I have to cancel all may day to come here for nothing... Thank you Boots for making my day????????????

Walked in for a urgent eye test - got an appointment for an hour later. Staff was very polite and professional. In about one hour I got visited by the optician and my eyes have been examined with 4/5 different machines. Really happy with it.

The place is quite big, and it stocks a lot of things. It prints photos, sells toys, gifts, pharmacy products, beauty products, clothes, etc. It even has it's own opticians. Very useful place.

A large store and the staff are very friendly. I used the photo service on the 1st floor. It's easy and cheap to print from a USB stick and the frames are priced fairly. The lady was very helpful with framing my collage - thanks Boots!

The Pharmacy completely Ignore the phone calls, seemed to have rung through 7 times in a row before getting an answer and then on answer failed to see a prescription that was sent through.
On calling my doctor surgery they confirmed it was sent and received by boots, rang back to boots again, they ignored the phone finally gave up on the 8th ring.
Seen as I'm in a lot of pain calling in was needed, to ensure my prescription was there and ready for pick up on my arrival, now I have to make the struggle to get my prescription and likely wait while they make it up while suffering in pain.

When stuff tells that you need to wait 10 minutes for help... And you Waiting 1 hour for stuff to pick cosmetics from Estee Lauder... Then you Ask if somebody will help you today or tomorrow they say '' It' s better to go to Debenhams''.... No words for this rude staff.

Terrible, I ordered the wrong prescription (11pm )on the online clinic - it states you should be allowed to cancel within an hour but there IS NO OPTION TO DO SO!!!
I ring the next morning (8:30am) to their customer services - I talked to some teenager who sounded high, was no help whatsoever, told me to contact their independent medical agency... of course there are no details displayed anywhere on how to do so, IM NEVER USING THIS SERVICE EVER AGAIN - AWFUL

When it comes to the cosmetics, equipment, perfumes and over the counter medications Boots are excellent.
Their handling of prescriptions, repeats, ordering and pharmacy services are awful though and require a severe over haul.

I thought Oxford is a comtemporary city but yet we have some pretty grumpy people working in this store. I am so used to polite and helpful staff at Boots around the country and then you come to Oxford and oh my god. Managers and staff have no knowledge about anything. They are borderline racists too.
My fiends who live in Oxford tell me rumours that staff at this branch would manipulate the results of price draws in the make-ups department so that their staff's own relatives would win the prices. To borrow one of Trump's phrases, "Lock them up!!"
Apart from that, good products and well priced.

Worst shopping experience. Never have the correct stock. Shelves are covered in dirt. Tried bringing up the issue with Vicky one of the managers, she was extremely rude and too busy talking to take any notice of my complaint. Save your money and get better service at Superdrug.

Yesterday (4 Nov) I received a txt reminder of my appointment today @ 11:10 for a flu vaccination. On arrival I was told that they were sorry, but they had no supplies of the vaccine and did not know when they would have. I was offered no explanation as to why I had not been informed of this (I live 9 km away and thus had a wasted two hours). I was not offered any gift voucher by way of compensation.
I have previously twice turned up to find that a prescription which my GP had said would be sent to them had not been received and therefore they did not have the meds available. I then assumed that this was the fault of the GP's surgery. Now ... I just don't know.
I need the flu jab as a matter of urgency as will in 3 weeks be going into hospital for high dose chemotherapy which will annihilate my immune system for c. 1-2 weeks. If I catch a flu virus before this, it could be lethal.
I have no confidence whatsoever in their pharmacy dept and will never use it again.

So disappointing, I tried to contact the Cornmarket Street branch of Boots by phone today and all you get is the Opticians. The wrong number is given in the web details and the staff at the Opticians don’t know the telephone number of the main branch any way. It would seem that the manager is happy with this poor standard of service.
