Staff can be friendly, but they are extremely slow. The past year, I have not had one prescription ready as needed. My last repeat took 19 days to be ready. Ordered it 9 days before running out knowing they are slow and take more than the 48 hours promised. I called 7 days later and they said they needed to look for the prescription (as told after the first time I had called). I got there, waited 25 minutes at 9:45 and was told to come back in two days. Good, that would be the 9 days expected. But went in the day after. 10 days. But medicine not ready. Then, was told to come back, but had to travel abroad for business. Came back 7 days later. Same story on day 17. Finally got it on day 19. That was the worst! Have a few more stories like that, though never as bad as that, although a few days delayed even when I call and am told it is READY. They seem completely overwhelmed. I am understanding, but the lows get lower. Need to find another pharmacy, but it seems like the system is broken. And I know. As a health professional, I dare say that Boots leaves MUCH MORE to be desired.

started using this shop for repeat prescriptions because I was fed up with the apparent disorganisation of the (not Boots) pharmacy near where I live. They can be slow sometimes - prescriptions ordered a week before and dispensed as you wait while the queue builds up- but they have a good attitude are very helpful .

I found the staff here very unprofessional. Went in to ask for over the counter medicine as directed by the GP and the counter staff went off to speak to the pharmacist calling the doctors lazy. Was made to feel like a real inconvenience with comments out the back like ‘I can’t believe this’. I wouldn’t go there again.

Badly understaffed. Waited 20 mins in the queue, only to be told my prescription (that I ordered 9 days previously) was not there. Women staff member doing the prescriptions was rude and unhelpful - and very stressed, and that was at 9.45am! I am really surprised that one of the biggest names in the business, can get it so wrong in this shop. They seriously need to sort it out! I've changed my nominated pharmacy now...I won't be going back there again...

I think the problem here is they're short staffed so it is not the staff's fault, but Boots itself that need to manage this. The staff take a lot of criticism just rotten for them really. The GPs don't help either.

Poor customer service and managment of prescriptions. Said they didn't have a prescription as they were not looking in the correct place. GP practice had to provide a tracking number before it could be located. Seem to be overwhelmed.

The branch of Boots Pharmacy is situated next to a busy doctors. By the very nature of the store and its proximity to the Doctors, this store is often very busy with lengthy waits. Staff are friendly and helpful. Be careful when you use the store as you need to key in your car registration number to take advantage of the free parking.. if you fail to do this you can be hit with a hefty fine. Not a bad store.. small.. but plenty of seating for when you're waiting prescriptions are being processed. For a small store.. it is surprisingly well stocked.

Woeful! Never enough staff. I’ve just wasted 1hr 10 mins of my Saturday morning waiting to be served - for a prescription that they should have had two days ago! The Repeat Prescription service doesn’t work here, in fact I wonder if they really have a System. I was livid when I came out and so we’re the other people still waiting. Will find somewhere else to collect my Prescriptions in future.

They are small & cramped & too busy with not enough staff. Whenever you ring /agree a pick up time for prescriptions it is never ready.They only then start your prescription when you were there to collect it...so you wait another 20mins. They do this to me every time I visit for a pre-agreed repeat prescription. BUT I never complained Until today. They this time fullfilled a wrong prescription and lost the correct Prescription handed to them by the Doctors' receptionist. I fly tomorrow so I go without the prescription drug I need. This is gross negligence and serial incompetence ...so this time I review and make a formal complaint to Boots Head Office.

It's quite chaotic place which lost my prescription while I waited 40 mins and being polite didn't want to ask why was taking long after 20 mins, when they found it no way I was waiting so left took it to Lloyds pharmacy and waited 5 mins.

Rubbish service. They don't know their stock. Having waited for 40 minutes I was told they don't have the required dose. I collected another prescription, I come home and check, I have not been given the correct number of tablets.
