The worst customer service i have ever received. Lack of professionalism from floor staff, A completely disorganised branch. The Manager and female staff came across extremely condescending and rude. Wait time was over 40 minutes for a pre booked appointment. I would suggest to find another branch and highly advise to avoid at all cost.

Good eye test but extremely poor service from other staff. Sold a pair of glasses with frames that broke a week later and the employee I spoke to about this was extreme rude. I was told I could return the glasses but the sent away when I went into the store. Specsavers also inexplicably ordered the wrong contact lenses for me and there was no apology for that. Overall, expensive for such poor service.

Top class customer service and excellent value for money glasses (there's usually a buy 1 get the 2nd pair half price or almost free offer); good value contact lenses lens mail packages; option to have the lenses delivered to the store, etc etc.
If you loose a contact lens because it happens to 'disappear' (I know, just dissolves into the ether somewhere), the Customer Advisor will inform the store that they'll get 'one' sent there for collection.
There's a monthly contact lens deal where you get the contact lens all-in-one solutinon at more than half the price of a brand-made solution.
Initially many years ago I went to an Optical Express branch in a neighbouring vicinity but they closed so I went across to another Specsavers branch but at the time they were so busy I was standing at the desk for over 20 mins so I came to this branch.
Then 2 years ago a high street store's opticians dept offered a discount on contact lenses but they put the prices up so I came back to this branch and have never looked back ????!
The customer after-care is the best in this field. Every staff member is trained to give the kind of service the customer deserves to have as a paying customer.

He most thorough eye test I have ever had. I have needed glasses for 20years but always get headaches when wearing my glasses. She was the first optician to listen to this, perform a simple test and realised I had a hidden prescription and now I'm all sorted, the correct prescription and no head aches. They also explained everything they was doing and helped me to understand.
Never really thought much of en eye test experience before but now I have realised how good this branch is and how bad all of my other tests have been.

I would have given this 4 or even 5 stars as most of the staff were really professional, polite and clear when talking to customers. I came here to start wearing contact lenses and the guy who was showing me how to put them on was a little pushy and a bit rude. Sticking my finger in my eye and learning how to put a lens in needs a bit of TLC from staff! but I eventually got the hang out it (sort of)

Good selection of frames, polite service but I noticed that not only I had to return my glasses twice because they were badly prescribed. Rather poor optical service and don't listen to the patient or client.

They got my prescription wrong and thickness of lenses. Second time the prescription was better but they tried to give me the same diameter lenese saying it was due to my prescription being increased all untrue . Then the manager explained that they had not changed the lens as they had made a mistake

Very bad attitude, no patience for questions. The place is quite small and always busy ( good location).
I was told to have an initial prescription for free due to a voucher, but ended up still needed to pay as they charge double for once job if you ask for both contact lens and glasses.
The glasses took about two weeks to come, and need another check as it's really uncomfortable after one month. Can't wear it for driving as it makes me feel dizzy.
The trial contact lenses were super uncomfy as I felt pain in my eye everytime I was wearing them. And they didn't tell me to go back for a follow up check which is a normal procedure for Spectsaver in other brunches.
Any further questions would be replied in a impatient way as if I was wasting their time.
Just Don't feel want to go back.

Disorganised! they cost me an hour today I didn't have, so I asked them to pay for a taxi to get to a hospital appointment on time. They agreed but then insisted on booking a cab when there was a rank 100 yards away. When the taxi hadn't turned up after another 20 minutes I had lost the will to live and left. Never again!
