Made eye test appointment online on saturday afternoon for the following day. Everything was organised really efficiently and covid safe. All the staff were extremely good and friendly. Deepak Rana did the actual test and he was polite and courteous. He explained what he was was doing at every stage. Afterwards I was handed over to Rebecka who was an absolute gem. She found the best deal and even helped me choose glasses and reading glasses. Believe me I was so grateful for that. Finally she has arranged for my glasses to be ready early as she knew I have broken my current glasses. Wonderful service and wonderful people.

I feel compelled to write this review about my experience visiting the Aldershot branch recently. I attended for an eye test and paid extra for the OCT scan. Your Optician said that, although there was nothing to worry about at this precise moment, the scan had shown that it could potentially cause an issue in the future, although when pressed he couldn’t tell me what the potential issue was called. To say I was confused is an understatement. I asked again for him to explain it and received the same wishy washy explanation including not telling me what could happen, even when I asked if I could potentially go blind or my eye would fall out, he only stated that it would become serious, I would know when it would happen and I would need to go to hospital. After the eye test, I asked one of your Optical Dispensers for an explanation as I was still not happy, they went away and spoke to the Optician and I was given a piece of paper with the words ‘vitreous humour attached to fovea / macula’ having googled this it means nothing, as they are all normal words connected to the eye.
I have today had to pay for another opticians appointment, to include a repeat OCT scan, they confirmed that my eyes were normal and they couldn’t see what your Optician was talking about. Interestingly, they picked up a drusen in my left eye - your optician missed this!
Another really concerning fact is that the prescription received today is different to the one your optician provided on the 14th February.
I have been a loyal customer for numerous years at different branches and have lost all faith in Specsavers!
I would avoid this company as your will be wasting your money!

this opticians has gone downhill in the past few yrs my last 2 experiences have been dreadful from daughters glasses being broken by the sales team when she went for a fitting, but now i have waited over a week and still waiting for my prescription sunglasses being ripped off on overpriced lenses with are not suitable for my frames to the optician telling you that a migraine is causing your focusing problems when in fact it was something else never again will i come here and they are lucky they are getting a 1 star

I feel compelled to write about the excellent customer service that I have received from this store, particularly from one male staff from Asian ethnic origin with grey blazer, black glasses, I couldn't catch his name.The staff was very nice, attentive and professional and was happy to help me to browse for glasses. I would happily recommend this store to anyone. Amazing service thank you!!

I had an appointment with them today. The staff are very helpful and friendly. If you have any concerns they reassure you that everything will be fine. Even though when you need new glasses its expensive but in the long run it's worth the price especially the quality and the service they provide you. Also if you have any problems and say visiting family elsewhere in the UK you can pop into any of their branches and get sorted and seen to straight away without any hassle

After my vision getting slowly worse, I decided on a eye test, the guys at specsavers did an accurate diagnosis and helped me pick out some much needed specs.
They even managed to have the subscription ready early, much appreciated.
Would definitely use this branch again.

Specsavers is a popular place to buy spectacles or have your eyes tested. Usually too crowded they don't seem to be able to work out appointments at all. You can wait a long time and then any consultation seems hurried. Although the staff are lovely, they are obviously told to get the customer to spend as much as possible.

The Man
To the people who go to Specsavers in Aldershot.
DONT BOTHER.
I went in to have my routine eye test and contact lense test. Thus to order more contact lenses.
I am not impressed, I was left with one contact lense and no glasses (I can't wear glasses as it gives me migraines)
They assured me my lenses would arrive at my house WITHIN 10 working days... Well it's now 15 days in and all I get off of the people who work in the Aldershot branch is "I'm sorry they'll definitely be at your house tomorrow" needless to say they still havent arrived!
I have loss of earnings to say the least. And all the other implications that goes with it. Not being able to drive ect..
I am discussed at their service and lies.
I have been a loyal customer since I was 5 years old, and to receive service like this is just not on!
People who go here, just a little bit of advise..
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

I went in on saturday having been suffering with a painful eye infection .. i am a contact lense warer of 30 years and rarely wear my glasses ... but it was so painful i had to wear my new glasses which i didnt buy at spacsavers ... they are visually great but did not fit well ... i asked and didnt expect the assistant to help .. but she was delightful .. she tweaked my fitting and adjusted my glasses so they fitted so much better at no extra charge... i was so grateful ... sorry i didnt clock her name but well done Specsavers Aldershot ... It meant a great deal and helped with my recovery so much .. thank you for a kind deed ... Julie T x

Fantastic service, I went in to see if they could repair my 1 missing and 1 wonky pad on my glasses and in only a few minutes they had fitted two new pads - and,surprisingly free of charge!

Service is rubbish they just leave you sitting there and forget you had actually booked an appointment time. I have booked in 3 times to pick up glasses and every time there has been a problem.
