Called in today at 3.05 having managed to break my specs that they repaired some time ago for nothing! Found some frames, gave them
the prescription and I left at 3.45 with new specs made up on the spot.
Amazing people - nothing too much trouble. Puts the rest to shame!

last time are brilliant for driving into the sun & still going strong.

Spacious place where you can scan a variety of eye and sunglasses, we've been in Specsavers in Aldershot for many years and I am glad that we found Mr. Michaels' The Glasses Shop in Union Street, top customer service with competitive pricing, personal service at it's best. Had my eyeglasses fixed for FREE and deserves a glowing five stars for competence, customer service and competitive pricing.

Two for the price of one at the moment, with free Eye test. Went in yesterday and, walked out with a pair of glasses for £89. Free pair of prescription sunglasses come in a few days. Very friendly, unrushed and professional service.

Great experience all round. Felt welcome form the moment I walked through the door. Eye test was brilliant, sorry didn't catch his name, but he explained everything he was doing and why. Plenty of time to choose frames from the wide selection.
Thoroughly recommend The Glasses Shop, much better than the 'other place' down the street!

Not usually one for writing reviews. Called in to the Aldershot branch on Saturday (on the recommendation of a friend) for some new varifocal sunglasses. Was served by Tom who was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for you, excellent customer service.
Had a phone call this morning (Wednesday) from Richard, who had a brilliant telephone manner, to let me know my glasses were ready. Not bad considering we had a Bank Holiday on Monday.

Great prices, great advice, great handiwork. I'd recommend it to anyone.
Get your eye test at the optician of your choice, and get a copy of your prescription from them... It's a paper form with numbers filled in like +2.5, -1.0... that sort of thing.
Then take the prescription to The Glasses Shop, and they'll do the rest. Much cheaper than the chains, and personal service... So better than internet glasses companies, too.
