Visited this dealership twice. Coming from a family of Toyota cars, and currently owning a Toyota, I was looking to purchase a new car. The sales consultant, Christian, did not take me seriously. The first time we visited, I asked for monthly payments and total price with any additional fees. Attached is a picture of the "numbers" I got. The second time, I made it clear to the product specialist that I was not taken seriously the previous time and that I wanted to speak with someone who would give me the numbers. Got stuck with Christian again. This time, received numbers which were very high and at MSRP instead of pricing that is sticker price, on their website, and listed on multiple other sites. Received no sales pitch. I was not treated respectfully, and had not been treated this poorly at any other dealership in the area. You will get much better service at Scott Clark, and more interest there! Don't waste your time here. I will be purchasing a NEW vehicle tomorrow, and it will not be at this dealership.

I have bought many cars and by far this is the best experience I’ve ever had. They treated me with such care and respect. Communication was top notch, they only submitted me to 2 banks as stated. The entire team went above and beyond to make this a seamless process. I know I am forgetting names, but to start, Jeff, Dan and Paul were absolutely amazing. Service is always great here. Nobody likes the surprise of unexpected car repairs, but these guys make the process as easy as possible. Connor was great with keeping me updated and thoroughly explained available options for my repair. It is also very convenient to be able to text your advisor. We had a great experience with at Toyota today. The process was very smooth, we loved the car that we picked and the color. All of the associates were very nice, pleasant and knowledgeable. Beginning with Dan who helped us and put us through to Jason. He explained every details about the car and took us for the drive. We love everything about the Camry 2021. Next it was Jon who put the numbers together and made it happen. He is the sweetest person, smart guy.. Finally finance took over and we closed it with a lovely young lady Janis who communicated with us as though she knew us for a while. Thanks to their entire team at Toyota North Charlotte. “Practiced in the art of deception”. The sales person we dealt with lied to us over the phone saying he had (4) Toyota Tundras on the lot. We drove for an hour and a half to learn that they actually had one Tundra on the lot. Worst experience every and will never ever return to this dealer. A snake pit of sales staff. Never again, Toyota of North Charlotte is a bait and switch carnival. Be forewarned a disingenuous group of sales people. Never again.

Everyone there was super nice and helpful. I knew what car I wanted when I got there, and they helped me out with the payment plan so that it wouldn’t be too costly. Even though I only got my car yesterday, I love it and can’t wait to drive it some more. I would HIGHLY recommend them. They even took into consideration that I had to be somewhere afterwards and expedited the process so that I wouldn’t be late. I have a BMW...and was referred by a friend to Kevin at the Body shop. Kevin did an unbelievable job on my rear bumper that I had had a slight run in with another car. He had noticed that my wheels on the right side were in bad condition due to the driver who had the car before me. He asked if I wanted then fixed up and it had been something I was looking to do anyway...so he arranged it and when I got my car back, it looked amazing!!...He personally touched up a small spot on the wheel on the left hand side for me...:) I was treated so very well and I had NO complaints about the money spent...so very reasonable.

The most miserable car buying experience ever! I’ve done a lot of car finance transactions in my lifetime and I work with numbers and loans every day, so I know what to expect. This dealership preys on those that DON’T have that knowledge. I knew we were in for a treat when we tried to get assistance 36 hours before our appointment. Their online trade calculator was giving us a much lower number than everywhere else, and we just wanted to see if they would even entertain matching another offer. We were coming from a couple hours away and wanted to be sure that we wouldn’t be wasting our time. We corresponded with ‘Jessica’ (hint- she’s not a real person…she’s the name of any online service associate who happens to be on the clock and responding at that time). ‘She’ kept telling us that they would take good care of us when we came in instead of answering our questions. When I called and got someone else, she said to text her the specs and pictures of the trade and would get info for us. For 36 hours, she kept saying, “I’m sorry, we are tied with customers and will get back to you ASAP.” ONE HOUR before we arrived (when we were already on the road), they sent the offer…which was the same one that the online calculator gave us the day before. Since we were already on the way, we kept the appointment. This is what they depended on by waiting so long to answer. We test drove a couple of cars, and that part of the experience was fine. Our salesperson was friendly, if a bit robotic, but I’d be happy to work with him anytime. He then passed us off to the numbers guy. I also liked this person. He was friendly and likeable and clearly cares about his job. The problem is that he is a puppet in a really shady corporate culture. Normally at this point, you’re in an office with a big screen and different ways of calculating payments. He was doing all this on pen and paper with no way of easily calculating loan payments options. We came in with pre-approved financing, we knew what the payment was going to be, and we knew what we were willing to accept. His first offer with all the warranties was completely absurd. He even tried to talk us into gap coverage when there would be no gap because of our down payment. But here’s where it got really shady. When we said we didn’t want any of the extras and just wanted to finance the base loan, the payment he gave was still too high. I pulled out a calculator and proved that they were giving us bad numbers. Let me repeat that…THEY WERE ADDING IN OTHER THINGS EVEN AFTER WE TOLD THEM WE DIDN’T WANT THEM, AND THEY TRIED TO PASS IT OFF AS THE REGULAR PAYMENT. Had I not known what the payment was supposed to be, I might not have caught this. He went back to his boss, and their first counter was extending the loan to a longer term to make the monthly payment lower. THEY TRIED TO MAKE BE BELIEVE THEY LOWERED THE PRICE BY EXTENDING THE TERM. We nipped that in the bud quick. To keep an already long story short, we were able to come to an agreement after he went back to his boss at least four times, but every time, we had to point out that they were giving us inaccurate numbers or reiterate that we weren’t going to take $2500 less on our trade than THREE OTHER SOURCES had offered us to flat out BUY our current car, not just trade-in value. At the end, the poor guy looked completely zapped and I felt bad for him. I’m sure he was being berated by his boss for not closing the deal. I sincerely liked the guy and I know he was only doing his job the way he was trained to do it. In the end, I got my car and the dealer and I both compromised, but I had to fight like hell for a fair deal. I can’t imagine how many people go in and accept their ‘deals’ without knowing that they’re being manipulated into paying too much for paying for features they didn’t approve. This is NOT how lots of dealers operate in this day and age. They still do things the BAD old-fashioned way.

Best experience we had, we felt so welcomed the moment we stepped out of our car. We had a young man named Chris/Christopher that welcomed us in and had helped us get settled in. He asked us what we were looking for, we let him know exactly what we wanted. He found the prefect vehicle for us to go looked at and tested drive. He’s very young and polite, he KNOWS what he is talking about when it comes to the cars you’re looking for. He’s very easy to work with, every questions we had he answer. Very professional. Definitely need a raise. Best attitude, didn’t treat us differently. Helped us all the way.
