Working with Emily from OnPoint Nutrition has been one of the biggest investments I have made in myself. I saw OnPoint featured on an ABC news story and decided to try something new after just having a baby and struggling to lose weight. Here I am, almost 8 months later, 20 pounds down, but more importantly- feeling more educated, supported, and mentally aware of the food choices I was making and how I view my health. Emily was there to support me through my goals. I wanted to have enough energy to keep up with my kids, find ways to incorporate healthier habits in my home, and change my relationship with food. At the time, I was still breast feeding so she made sure I was eating enough to keep up my milk supply. She never made me feel ashamed when I had a bad few days (it may have been a few bad months but who's counting). It was hard for me to change my ways. It took awhile. Instead of getting frustrated, we just talked about how to move forward. Progress, not perfection was the mantra. Half of the time, she was more my counselor, but it all played in to how the obstacles in my life affected my health. For me, this needed to be a long term commitment. I had all of these food associations with different things in my life (holidays, parties, stressful events, work...). She helped me get through all of these without ever feeling deprived. The biggest change has been the mental shift I made over time. Before this, I had all these fallacies about food and weight loss. I don't see food anymore with emotion, I see it as a part of what makes me feel good. I learned balance and moderation. I am still learning (but will get there) to stop letting the scale rule my life. I feel better now than I ever have and that is the goal. Before working with Emily, I literally had no idea what to eat, but I knew I didn't want to eat tofu or really change from what I liked. She helped me brainstorm new recipes and ways to make things healthier without hitting my budget. I am now so much more comfortable with cooking and trying new things. I actually love to come up with my menu for the week (so not something I would do- I couldn't even boil an egg before this). Lastly, I want people to know that this is not a diet. The work I put in changed my life. When people ask me what diet I did, I tell them that I'm not on a diet, I have just adopted a healthier lifestyle. Without Emily's support and guidance I would not have been able to get here. If you want accountability and honest, supportive direction, this place is for you.

I've always been fit and made healthy food choices, but after an injury which took away running and weight lifting at the gym, I needed help with how to eat/snack and think about food differently. Annie has been great at encouraging me and teaching me how to snack and navigate parties without going off track. I have achieved my goal and my eating plan is full of nutritious and good food that I look forward to eating. I never feel hungry since I'm eating every few hours, and the chocolate nutrition bars are delicious! Highly recommended even for someone who just wants to tune up and adopt different eating habits.

Six days from today, I will be running my first half marathon. After 5 years of multiple attempts, I finally had a solid foundation and amazing mentor with OnPoint Nutrition that will allow me to complete, this once looked at, impossible task! The customized meal plans, the constant one on one contact and most importantly, the education that I gained on proper nutrition and weight loss, made this program stand out, miles ahead of any program I tried before. Britney and Annie are great. I've tried lots of diets and quick fixes for weight loss and none have stuck. Learning how to change my eating habits has not only helped me lose weight at a steady pace but also has helped me manage my type 1 diabetes a lot better. OnPoint did something that I did not think was possible, it made getting healthy simple. Anytime I've tried to get healthy in the past I would run into the same issues of wondering what to eat, how much to eat and when to eat. There were no dramatic changes to what I needed to eat, but instead, I get to eat what I already like except this time I eat the appropriate amounts. The one-on-one sessions make it that much easier to know what to do and not wonder if I'm doing it correctly. Slowly, but surely I'm reaching goals that I thought were never attainable and thanks to OnPoint not only will I reach them, but I will most certainly surpass them.

OnPoint Nutrition is life changing! I lost 9 lbs in the first 6 weeks and feel better than ever. My meals are perfectly balanced now and I never feel hungry. I realized I wasn't eating enough vegetables or protein, and once I started eating according to my food plan, my weight just started dropping. I love working with my nutritionist, Kate, and have learned so much about eating healthy and making good choices. I also don't feel like I'm depriving myself of any foods. Britney is an all star. I have always struggled with my weight and with OnPoint I was able to lose 8 pounds in the first month. There are many ways to get healthy out there but none that I have come across that really make it a personal experience. Twice a week I got to speak with Britney so that she could keep me accountable and on the correct path. I yell the name OnPoint every chance I get.

I started working with OnPoint Nutrition June 19th. Today is August 17th and I am 25 pounds lighter! Emily, my nutritionist, is excellent! She has helped me figure out a healthy eating plan that I can maintain. She also gives me great recipes and suggestions for new types of food to eat. The best part is, I am not hungry, I am eating food I like and in the right portions. The OnPoint Nutrition plan works. I like the 2 virtual meetings per week format. If I had to drive to an office to have a meeting, I might not have ever started. Emily is available via text and email if I ever have a question or concern between our meetings. I loved working with Josie! She was very supportive and helped keep me motivated. She was flexible with her schedule and when we could talk, and I looked forward to our twice a week Skypes. She really listened to the challenges I was having and even helped me learn how to incorporate vegetarian meals into my plan so I could make meals that my son (who is vegetarian) would also eat. Josie was great at helping me adjust my food allocations for special occasions such as going to a party or a wedding so I didn't feel deprived. That is something I really loved about the OnPoint Nutrition program---It is real life! Do not take the chance. If you do not like it after your first session you are completely out of your money. With no refund. I left my first consultation and was not happy I asked for a refund because they did not meet my medical conditions needs and they told me I do not get refunds. That is insanely unprofessional. They’ll probably respond to this review with a bogus explanation. Do not listen to their reasonings. Do no take the chance you’ll be out of $328. What a waste.

OnPoint has been great in helping me improve my eating habits and losing weight. I’ve lost 45 pounds so far. I like that their program focuses on learning about nutrition and the appropriate portion sizes for foods – whether dining in or eating out. OnPoint’s approach is more sustainable long term than fad diets or diet plans where you buy pre-made meals which get boring quickly. OnPoint’s program allows you to eat foods you like while learn about moderation and healthy eating.
