The best in Brighton!
I went through a long spell looking for a full time permanent role whilst temping in between time.
I can honestly say that Pier were THE ONLY agency in Brighton who genuinely listened to my needs and helped me achieve what I was looking for!! The perfect role for me after such a long gruelling personal search.
I can't thank them enough! Especially Daisy! So so attentive and persistent with their support.

Such an incredible, first in class service. Christina not only found me a wonderful job suited to my needs, but she checked up on me, my progress within the job, and helped me with a misunderstanding on start dates within the job. I can't recommend Pier Recruitment or Christina any higher, if you're looking for a recruitment agency, I can't imagine a better or more hands on and personal one than Pier.

Ellie is a fantastic contact to have as a recruitment consultant. I have known her for many years and am really pleased she is now at Pier. I registered at Pier with another consultant earlier this year and she made a point of coming in and saying hi and see how I was doing. This made a really nice warm welcome to Pier for me. She keeps in touch with me on a regular basis to review what I'm up to and always lets me know of any possible positions that come up - and always understands if it is not the right one for me for any reason. I had a wonderful experience with Pier Recruitment. I approached them whilst looking for a temp job to bridge the gap between leaving one job and starting my own business. I met with Kirsty to fill in the relevant paperwork and discussed my requirements with her. She was able to place me in a great admin role within a week, where I then stayed for approximately 4 months. All of the girls in the office are incredibly friendly and quick to respond to any queries. I was very happy during my time with Pier and as well as the obvious of finding employment they offer lots of little incentives for their temps and managers. For example, during my time with them they were running a temp of the month competition. The little details like that make you feel like you are part of a bigger team, something which I think can be very valuable particularly if you are moving between temp jobs regularly and working with a variety of different people. They were able to help me at a time when I was concerned that I would not be able to find a role to suit my needs and I could not have been happier with the result.

Due to unforeseen circumstances I became unemployed when my employer became insolvent. I registered with numerous recruitment agencies in and around Brighton and Hove, Pier Recruitment were head and shoulders above the rest. My period of unemployment lasted longer than anticipated and throughout what was a difficult time, Pier Recruitment were extremely supportive and helped me remain positive in my quest for new employment. The team were understanding, displayed empathy, were always in contact and went above and beyond in every aspect. Added to that, unlike other agencies, they listened to me and treated me with the utmost respect. Not only did they help in my search for permanent employment but whilst this was ongoing they provided me with several temp assignments that matched my skillset as a skilled professional. I can't recommend them enough and if I'm unfortunate enough to find myself in the same situation in the future I would have no hesitation of going to Pier who I know I can rely on.

Having worked for Pier Recruitment for a few months, I am happy to say that I work for them.
My main contact is Kirsty, who is always happy to help, friendly and keen to get the right jobs for me. Kirsty’s positive attitude and words of encouragement have also helped during the interview process.
In addition to this, I have been in contact with Chloe, Katie, Daisy, Lisa, Ellie and Emily who are friendly, helpful and I feel I can ask them anything.
I like how the team shares information with each other and both temporary and permanent positions are not just assigned to one person. As a result of this, a team member is free to contact you with potential positions, interview details or answers to questions. This makes the searching and application process quicker. For example, when Kirsty is out of the office, another team member would continue with the application or interview process.
Payroll is very efficient. They have always paid me on time and even check to make sure I haven’t forgotten to submit a timesheet, which is a pleasant surprise. This high level of customer service has exceeded my expectations.
Overall, Pier has given me a variety of different temporary positions that have been enjoyable and positively challenging. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for work and has a good work ethic, because the team will endeavour to find you the positions you desire the most.

My experience of pier has been entirely negative. I signed up because of an advert for work starting immediately and was told there were several jobs available by more than one member of staff. Following that I heard nothing from any staff, who stopped responding to my emails and only replied after two weeks of calling. I was told that I should get some work soon but obviously since then i've been completely ghosted. I feel that this company has been deceptive and unprofessional in our interactions.
