Lovely views across the town to the sea. Great place to walk the dog (or the kids). Nice selection of wildlife including good numbers of butterfly species. Some very steep slopes. Some paths reasonable but many are just uneven dirt tracks

Whitehawk Hill arches around the north and west sides of Whitehawk housing estate. Areas of species rich chalk grassland supporting many Adonis and Chalkhill Blue butterflies. This is the only known UK location of the Whitehawk Soldier Beetle. Whitehawk Camp is also located here, which is a Neolithic enclosure and scheduled Ancient Monument.
