Just a short walk from Preston Park Station up a path by the side of the main railway line, then over a bridge and into the woodland. A pretty little oasis in almost central Brighton. The Buzzards love it here too- there were a number of them calling to each other over the valley. Would have given it 5 stars but currently busy with dogs and their owners due to "lockdown"

Don’t bother coming or you’ll regret it. The place is tiny, you can constantly see the football pitch next to the “woods”. It’s so small that it shouldn’t even be called “woods”. If you want a nice experience being in the nature, this is not what you’re looking for.

This can be a challenging walk, with narrow paths and steep slopes, but if you fancy something more engaging than 'a walk in the park', it's a lovely secluded oasis in suburbia

Really handy place to walk the dog - close to town but feels a bit like you've escaped from it
