I was recommended to George about 15 years ago after a very bad experience with another dentist. The outstanding service that he has regularly provided since has not only persuaded me that not all dentists are evil, but given me sufficient confidence to have some cosmetic work carried out on my smile, the results of which I couldn't be happier with. I've even introduced my wife, who had dentist-phobia, as a patient. Outstanding.

I have been coming to this practice for my dental care since 2003. The practice is conveniently located in Cannon street in easy reach of public transport. I have always been very well looked after and have been very appreciative of the care received. Dr George the dentist is always kind and caring explaining all aspects of the treatment offered. The dental nurses are very skilled and very friendly always putting the patients at ease. Reception are extremely pleasant and always try to accommodate changes of appointment or emergencies. I would fully recommend this dental practice and it fully deserves the 5 stars.

Update after seeing that dreadful review from a patient the practice does not know.
I attended yesterday for routine care and had the same highly professional service I always receive . The practice is always very clean and the COVID precautions are extremely thorough. Eg temp taking etc.
Far from being a bully Dr George is very kind and takes a lot of time to explain everything and make sure it is understood. I think the mention of a war criminal was absolutely disgraceful and needs to be taken down as soon as possible. It is obviously either an error or a vindictive review . No excuse to use this terminology. Google please take this down! It is totally unacceptable .

I finally decided to pluck up the courage to see a dentist about the discomfort I had been feeling with my teeth. I chose CAP City Dental because it is close to where I work and the reviews were very positive.
As a new patient to this dental practice, I had to fill out a form about my health, concerns, etc. George read my responses thoroughly and discussed them with me in detail. He also spent some time trying to understand what the source of my anxiety was and offered a solution to address that - the happy gas :). Once I was in the dentist's chair, George and his team did everything they could to keep me comfy - changing the music, adjusting the anaesthesia and adjusting the level of the happy gas. Ahead of my second appointment to complete my root canal treatment, George emailed me a summary of the work that remained to be done and how much it would cost and at the end of my treatment, I was presented with the same bill, so no hidden charges. One of my teeth had also fractured so George had to do a filling on that tooth. I saw a picture of it afterwards on the dentist's screen - it was beautifully done! It looks just like all of my other teeth. I would definitely recommend CAP City Dental especially if you're anxious about medical procedures like I am :). It's nice to go somewhere that you will be treated respectfully and carefully. Raya, the office manager, is also very sweet. She called me by name even the first day I walked in, and this is something I will always have in mind.

After years of sub par dentists, FINALLY found a dentist who knows his stuff! I saw Dr Druttman for my teeth and he gave great advice with loads of information to help me decide what I wanted and needed. Given a choice with regard to the work getting done and I didn't get the hard sell I have gotten from past dentists who were only looking for a quick buck! I highly recommend going in for a smile consultation-wonderful team and atmosphere..

I had a discomfort in my mouth my dentists were never able to spot what was wrong and it was starting to worry me. As Dr Druttman is my daughter’s dentist I decided to schedule an appointment with him.
Dr Druttman took the time to actually have a close look at everything, spotted what was bothering me in no time and fixed it with an bite balancing/adjustment). It made a huge difference and I’m going back next month to get my old fillings replaced!
No other dentist for me any more, only Dr Druttman.

Had emergency a couple of times; and was taken extremely good care of. Highly recommended. (that was in late 2016)... Amending the review here onwards: Had another accident and emergency in nov-2018. Again very impressed with not just the quality of advice, but also the empathy, cost effectiveness, post-treatment care and concern, paperwork, etc. I must also comment that the clinic itself is pleasant, and clinic staff too are very courteous and caring. Doctor Druttman himself is very transparent about various options, and pros and cons, including the cost-aspect. Very trustworthy. 5*

I had not been to the dentist in nearly 15 years due to dental anxiety, and broader anxiety towards anything medical, however I knew that I needed to go to avoid serious problems later in life. Having conducted some research online and reading various reviews, I decided to make an appointment at CAP City dental. The day of my first appointment arrived, and as expected I felt nervous and a little sick in the stomach, fearing the worst in respect of what work might be required due to the length between appointments. Upon arriving at the surgery I was greeted warmly and made to feel very welcome by Raya, the Practice Manager which certainly helped some of my anxiety to dissipate. I met with Dr George Druttman, who in the first instance sat me down in his office and discussed at length my dental history and the origins of my dental anxiety, in addition to outlining how he approaches things. This also assisted in helping to relieve some of my anxiety before I had the initial check-up and examination. The prognosis was that I needed 5 fillings and some veneers due to serious grinding over the years with the work to be carried out in two different sessions. I found the use of nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to be very helpful, in addition to the considered and understanding manner in which George and his team carried out the work. The veneers look excellent and I am so happy with my new set of straight and well formed teeth. George could have could have persuaded me to have the more expensive porcelain veneers, however he recommended the cheaper composite veneers as it would mean that it wouldn’t be necessary to file my teeth down, which wouldn’t be ideal at my relatively young age (33).
I am so glad that I chose CAP City dental and I can certainly say that my experience there has almost relinquished my dental anxiety and I look forward to returning for a check-up in the Spring.

I always had a problem with my smile. Our first impression to others, the first 7 seconds when they meet us, is all it takes for them to decide whether they are going to like us or not (the scientists call it thin slicing). A warm and authentic smile is the most important social signal we can give to others.
I will be always thankful to Dr. Druttman for giving my smile back. With his many years in cosmetic dentistry he could see right away what needed to be done. He was very professional, fast, having an excellent support team and providing music headphones to put me at ease.
The results after only two sessions only were really impressive. I would speak to my friends and they would notice I was very different and very likable. They would comment, "you are a different man, more relaxed, happy".
They could not put it exactly in words what the difference was, but I knew the magic hand of Dr. Druttman was behind it.
Cap City and Dr. Druttman thank you very much for the gift you gave me, is priceless.

A revelation compared to dentists I'd been to before especially in London - I needed some good dentistry to put a crown on a root canal re-treatment that I'd had (as alternative to extraction and implants etc). But I soon became one of George Druttman's patients rather than just having this one procedure, as I found that he explained fully everything that needed doing and was taking great care and attention to for instance ensure that crowns and fillings would be the proper shape and function of a tooth and so work well in the long-term.
This was a big step up from other dentists I'd been to, where I'd felt 'rushed through' with the minimum/basic treatment. Inevitably I found the price reflected the level of care and time taken to do things well somewhat to be honest, but I've certainly felt that's been worth it and will pay for itself in time rather than trying to cut corners.

I've been a patient at Cap City with George for ten years, and I can't recommend him highly enough. I came in with twisted incisors, some terrible fillings and a badly fixed broken front tooth. He literally transformed my face. Since then he's done excellent fixes and maintenance work, gone above and beyond in all respects and is a person I trust completely with my teeth. Furthermore he and his staff always make you feel so welcome and looked after. It actually makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience that you can look forward to rather than fear. Highly recommended.

Had to visit a dentist unexpectedly whilst overseas. I contacted my orthodontist in Australia who recommended Dr Druttman.
Great dentist, above and beyond. Even wrote a letter back to my orthodontist in Australia with a recommendation for follow up treatment.
Excellent "dentist chair" manner. Made me feel very comfortable with what was happening. If I was living back in London permanently I would definitely use Dr Druttman as my full time dentist.

Hadn't gone to see a dentist in an embarrassing amount of years. I was forced to seek one out when my wisdom tooth started misbehaving terribly. CAP City are conveniently located in the heart of London and I was able to book an appointment online for the next day. They even called me up to shift my appointment earlier on news of a cancellation.
Despite my apprehension after said embarrassing amount of years, George and the Team were incredibly welcoming, and after a quick questionnaire, treatment began. Long story short; within the space of two days, wisdom tooth out, and now looking forward to enjoying a healthier mouth.

I think I should first begin by stating that I am an extremely nervous / difficult patient. Its something I am acutely aware of but powerless to resist and it must make life particularly hard for any dentist that approaches me!
I initially went to George as an emergency when an old filling popped out in my salad. Despite it being Friday evening George and Raya stayed late to accommodate me as they didn't wish me to remain in discomfort for the duration of the weekend. I believe I finally left the practice at gone 8pm on a Friday evening.
I cant thank George and Raya enough for their support. If you are a nervous patient please do give them a try - you wont be disappointed. If you happen to work in the City you also wont need to take any time off work for a visit, a small but welcome bonus compared to having a local to home dentist.

I've been very impressed with the skills and expertise of Dr George Druttman. When in the past I had been advised to have teeth removed in order to sort out emerging teeth wearing , Dr Druttman treated my teeth with minimum invasion and in an extremely skillful way. The results exceeded my expectation!
Dr Druttman is both a scientist and an artist when it comes to aesthetics. I wouldn't trust any other denstist from now on.

I don't generally bother to write reviews unless some place screwed up big time (glares at La Terraza restaurant in sacramento), or someone really has done really amazing work worthy of singing praises.
Luckily in this case this review is the later. George has been my dentist for *many* years (I think it's been more than 10 years now), and he's by far the best dentist I've ever had in life.

I was lucky and pleased to be treated by Dr. Druttman. For many years I've had problems with the bite, I couldn't close my mouth properly and very often I woke up in the morning with headache . Dr. Druttman took care of this and thanks to his professionalism and experience, now I sleep without problems; my jaw relaxes and I do not have to "look for" the right position. Everything is natural and relaxing.

As soon as I entered George’s practice at Cannon St, I knew straight away from the professional/confident greeting from all staff that I had come to the right place!
My concerns were listened to carefully and options to resolve my worries were explained very well.
What I really love about the practice is it’s ethos of knowing everyone’s mouth is unique and what works for one might not work for another. With the broad knowledge held from dental qualifications from around the world - USA and UK there is a broad mindset within the practice of what can be done, and as a patient you are well listened to to ensure the right solution is found for you.
My issues were a TMJ click, Over erupted teeth and overbite. These issues have been fixed and my mouth is a lot more comfortable and I’m now a lot more happy and grateful in life.
I highly rate George Druttman and Jonathan Tan and everyone at Cap City Dental, especially Raya Gray who you can tell makes it all work at the practice. They all want to help you!

I have very sensitive teeth and thought I was in big trouble with a run of fillings to come! Actually on inspection (which was very focused and quick) it was found that I have actually been grinding my teeth and it's impacted my gums and teeth making them super sensitive. After a clean and some work on my canines to help with the grinding (all a bit complicated for me to re-explain, needless to say Dr Druttman has expert knowledge within the teeth grinding sector so very fortunate to have visited him). It worked out that I could have my treatment on the same day, and in summary two hours later I walk out with all my check up and treatment done. I have woke up this morning with a SIGNIFICANT reduction in pain, feeling much happier and tried a cold drink plus a hot coffee and the pain is down to almost 10% of what I was feeling yesterday. Yes... I cannot recommend the professional, skilled, valuable and brilliant services here enough and I look forward to bringing the whole family for checkups and maintenance going forward. Just excellent, lovely, accommodating staff, best dental visit I have had so far! Thank you!!!!!

I start saying I don't like dentists. I don't like the pain, the discomfort and obviously the money we pay. For many years I quite neglected my teeth. Although I've seen by many dentists I've never been well advised and as a result of that I got my mouth in a very bad situation. After years of painful treatments I ended up loosing even the teeth I had treated with so much pain and money, so I decided to look for good private dentists in London. I found Cap City Dental and the best thing I can say about Dr Druttman is I've lost the panic I had of dentists. Dr Druttman might not be the cheapest dentist in London but he knows what he's doing. He is competent, experienced, and never does anything without talking to you, listen you, tell the options you have and how much it will cost.
If you really care about your mouth I really recommend Dr Druttman.
PS. I hope he will read this and give to me a nice discount on my next visit! :)

For many years I was very anxious each time I was attending the dentist, as I have always associated them with the painful memories of the procedures from my childhood. Dr Druttman is a specialist in treating anxious patients and has been my dentist since April of 2012. It might be hard to believe, but being in his care my anxiety related to dental appointments completely vanished. I was always looked after with care, gentleness and enormous kindness of the whole team at CAP City Dental.
Previously I had a failed orthodontic treatment at the different clinic and not only I felt I have wasted a lot of money, but after 6 months of painful treatment the changes were minimal and I still had a gap between my 2 front teeth. Dr Druttman has managed to repair my aesthetic look in about an hour by adding some composite to close the gap and shape my front teeth. Now I have a perfect smile and for that I am eternally grateful to him. I have recommended his services to all my friends and certainly would recommend it to everyone looking for an expert in dentistry.

First I must say thanks to Dr George Druttman for been so helpful when I need an emergency appointment (known it a new patient) and the best of all he can do a root canal within 1 week. I really don't think this possible but again I have to leave London and this is emergency root canal. His job is excellent and not to mention his nurse is doing an excellent job too. They both work hand by hand to fix me up with in such a short time and my teeth feels healthy and normal again. Truly appreciated! It the first time I did root canal and I thought it was very bad but after all it NOT. I highly recommend Dr George Druttman and if I am in London again I will go to get my teeth for a check-up by Dr George Druttman.

Great Dentist with great results. I was reluctant to start treatment based on a number of bad experiences and failed treatments at other dentists. I met with Dr. George Druttman for a consultation and he came up with some great solutions to fix both the cosmetic and general work (fillings etc.) that I needed. I have been visiting CAP City dental for the last 8 months to address filings, root canal treatment and most recently an implant . On every visit I am made to feel welcome, listened to and considered by Dr. Druttman, Raya and the team. Dr. Druttman did a full evaluation, then walked me through the treatment options and we created a plan of what was priority for me . On my second visit we had fixed my cosmetic concerns meaning that I wasn’t conscious about my smile anymore. I can’t recommend them enough.

Fourteen years ago I had an accident in which I lost one of my adult incisors. For eleven years following the accident I did not smile, the treatment I was receiving on the NHS was wholly inadequate and left me with a false tooth which was not aesthetically pleasing and that constantly needed replacing. I had been promised by the NHS consultants that I would be given a permanent implant when I reached eighteen and my jaw had stopped growing. When this time came however, I was told I would only be given a semi-permanent "bridge." Dissatisfied with the way I had been treated by the NHS I turned to CAP City Dental and Dr Druttman. Within less than a year I was given a permanent post and crown which is indistinguishable from my other teeth. The work has been completed to such a high standard that I often forget that I even have a false tooth. Needless to say I have my smile back. I would recommend Dr Druttman to everyone!

I was very reluctant to go to finally get my teeth sorted at age 48, i have had discoloured and missing teeth through rugby damage at age 15 and genetic adult teeth missing. Hence i have seen many Dentists. Cheap ones free ones , consultants , expensive ones etc etc... and felt that my teeth were just a disaster area that looked awful and would eventually have to be replaced by implants....
I was recommended CapCity - Dr George Druttman by a friend who has had work done and felt that rather than go for dentist tourism to eastern Europe that i would go for a local established Dentist.
I am amazed at the personal structured treatment that i have received at CapCity. My Teeth have been literally re-built and repaired fantastically well, but most importantly within a discussed and thought about action plan that caused me the least discomfort and loss of function during treatment than ever before.
I would seriously recommend CapCity and Dr Druttman to anyone with dentistry needs.
I have had the smallest to the biggest treatments here and they have been the best most efficient i have ever had.

If you can love going to the dentist then I do!! I have being going to Dr Druttman for 9 years and would, if necessary travel the length of the country and in fact, overseas to continue to see him for as long as he is practising. I have complete trust in Dr Druttman's work and belief that he will always do what is best for my teeth. I have never come across a dentist with such a focus on the preventative and on continuous care. Consequently I began taking my children to see him as soon as practical, knowing they would be in safe hands, so that they could start getting used to seeing the dentist and because I knew that Dr Druttman would already be looking at preventative treatments for them. Whether for a check up, emergency treatment, or cosmetic work, I couldn't recommend Dr Druttman highly enough. I just wish I could find a GP like him!
