I am really impressed by my experience with this clinic. I booked an online assessment before Christmas and everything was handled in a very professional, speedy and sensitive manner. I am now on elvanse 50mg, which is really helping me to focus on work and not zone out constantly. I will be going onto shared care with my GP after my next review appointment. Thank you for the team effort, it really has been a game changer for me.

I'm so glad that we chose to come to this ADHD clinic. Having been on a waiting list for 18 months was excruciating. Dr. Kripalani has been fantastic; very diligent, kind and caring and he really understands ADHD struggles.

This place is horrendous. This business has been created by smarmy people in expensive suits, to take advantage of people who cannot find help via an underfunded NHS.
There is no care and zero support. All of the advice given is designed to make the sufferer of ADHD and their family feel responsible for the condition. There is no compassion here.
Every consultation post diagnosis costs £200. There’s no structured treatment plan, no guidance on therapies (like CBT), no opportunity to move back to the NHS and ultimately zero help for the sufferer. Neither is there any support for families of ADHD sufferers.
Yes, you will get a diagnosis. But then you’ll be told to watch YouTube videos, and for £200 the “doctor” will ask you what medication you prefer. He’ll even ask you what dose you think is most appropriate.
These people are not exactly charlatans, I can’t question their qualifications. But they are profiteering from families who are struggling and desperate enough to give them 100s (thousands they hope) of pounds.
This is a shameful, cold hearted, money making enterprise..
Take a look at the reviews. Anything that’s 5 star gets a glowing response from the owner (fake?). The one star reviews are ignored just like their money paying customers. There are no patients in their eyes.
Don’t fall into the trap. There’s no hope here.

Tldr at bottom of post, but please read :)
Let me start off by saying I went back and forth for months, shall I? Shan't I? Before I finally took the plunge and booked an online assessment.
Its probably the most beneficial thing I have done for myself ever.
Dr. Rahman has been amazing at putting me at ease, the appointments I've had so far almost feel like a friend with a PhD checking up on me, which for me is excellent! I'm quite an anxious person.
We have set realistic goals, to help me keep track of the things that I want out of this. Goals that are tangible, meaningful and measurable, and the fact I'm hitting these goals are making a huge impact in my life.
I'm writing this because I have been on the other side of the reviews, I know the worries that you may be having, I had them too, the ADHD centre is not pushy, I feel that I'm in control. I haven't had a bad experience communicating with anyone from the centre, everyone has been so polite and respectful.
Karla gets a special mention, it must have been like herding cats to get me (and others in my situation) on track with appointments and bookings, i'm sure it must be taxing on the nerves, so thank you!
I'm glad that I booked the assessment and got the help I needed. I'm looking to the future with a completely different and positive outlook.
Tldr; the ADHD centre has turned my life around, they put me at ease and treat me with respect at all times, if you're struggling with ADHD, this is where it stops!

I was originally on the NHS waiting list for an ADHD assessment but knowing this would take so much time, the stress and pressure of waiting with things not changing was only adding to an already major struggle.
I had my Skype assessment and follow up appointments with the ADHD Centre and have started on medication, the benefits since have been life changing. Dr. Kulik has been amazing and extremely supportive throughout treating me as an individual with my own complex history. The whole process has been extremely quick and efficient with communication available throughout.

I approached The ADHD Centre due to the NHS giving me an estimate of 9 months before I could see a psychiatrist. I got a great deal at a discounted rate for the assessment which was over Skype.
I always thought my symptoms were personality traits but after speaking with various medical professionals, they thought that wasn't the case. Dr. Rahman made everything very simple and easy for me to understand and after receiving a diagnosis, we agreed on the appropriate treatment going forward.
Since then the progress I have made in all aspects of my life is unbelievable. I honestly can't recommend The ADHD Centre enough and I am so thankful for everyone involved, from my psychiatrist to the members of staff who helped me book my appointments.

I was dragged rather reluctantly and skeptically for an assessment by a family member but I must say it is remarkably how quickly and effectively ADHD can be treated. I have suffered all my life with the symptoms not even realizing that it was part of a condition that can actually be treated. Why didn't this get picked up when I was at school? I do feel angry that it was not diagnosed and treated when i was younger...

I came to the centre around six months ago and I was feeling very low, sorry for myself and not coping at all with my day to day life and responsibilities. After trying a long acting methylphenidate medication I switched to a short acting version, which now gives me much more control of the symptoms. I have also found the coaching with Alexandra to be very helpful in coming to terms with the diagnosis and dealing with stressful situations at work.
I have now gone onto shared care with my GP and am in an infinitely better place.
All in all I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you !!

Sadly i chose this private centre for some help after suffering going in circles with the NHS for an ADHD diagnosis. The doctor at this clinic was worse than any doctor I have ever met. AWFULLY RUDE, UNHELPFUL CENTRE. Just like the other reviews say, only want your money and give you no treatment for ADHD. THEY DO NOT ACTUALLY GIVE YOU ANY TREATMENT OR HELP. I came here to be TREATED. NOT HAPPY

Thanks to everyone at the ADHD Centre for helping so much with son'ss care. He is now able to actually pay attention during lessons and not get so easily distracted. He feels much better about himself now that he is doing better at school. This has had a really positive knock on effect on everything from his social skills to ability in team sports as well as gearing him up for his exams. I have already recommended the Centre to a few other families in a similar situation.

I contacted The ADHD Centre about 18 months after being diagnosed with ADHD, and feeling extremely frustrated to have not yet found a combination of medication that I was happy with. My experience with Dr Kripalani has been fantastic. For the first time in my life, I am now on a combination of medication that works well. Dr K is not only extremely knowledgeable, but also a compassionate professional who shows a genuine interest in treating all aspects of your ADHD. I am hugely grateful for his help and my only regret is that I did not contact The ADHD Centre earlier.

We are so glad that we finally got round to this and only wish we had come a few years ago. We have a boy and girl aged 9 and 11, both with long suspected ADHD symptoms. We had tried getting help through local NHS services but were going round in circles. We finally decided to have them assessed privately at The ADHD Centre in September. As a result we have been able to access the treatment, care and support they really need. It’s so great to see them both flourishing at school and at home.

Have your credit card ready when you book a consultation. My appointment was cancelled the day before it was booked because they hadn't got my card details. Just left me with the impression that making money is the priority here. I think there are better places to go.

This is definitely one of the most professional ADHD services in the UK. They offer the latest effective treatments for ADHD and their results are great. I went there with a family member who had been struggling for years with organisation, procrastination, and holding a job down. With a combination of medication and coaching I saw them completely turn around within just a few months and they are much happier now and much more together.

All of these clinics are just trying to make money off people instead of actually helping. They want advance payments before you even get to your appointment. ADHD is a medical condition, and I've been misdiagnosed for years. Maybe I might want to feel like I've done the assessment and then pay at the end of my appointment. Paying in advance when you've been given the run around by so many doctors is a bit daunting. It just feels like it's all about money and not about actually helping when people ask you for money before they've done anything for you. Thanks for nothing.
