Seventa Makeup Academy has provided so many opportunities for young artists all of the UK and supports talent heavily in the LGBTQ+ . I have worked with Seventa for the past 4 years providing me with my first jobs in London working for Channel 4 , Pride in London & Prides Got Talent. I recommend the academy the training and quality of work and business is extremely high.

What a class! Jeff was awesome with his contact to get the class booked up during lockdown. Juan was an excellent instructor and I learned so much during the class. The class was covid safe as everyone had the required items personally provided whilst being sufficiently spaced at your own desk. PPE was also worn where required. Top job guys. A full five-star experience. I loved learning new techniques with a fantastic teacher, who understood that we don’t all want to look alike and that making the most of what we have with easy to use tools and tips was great.
I bought a small number of products, but actually feel I can use my existing make up in a better way and not waste money on unnecessary items.
I have been telling all my friends and recommending a session to them.

I visited Seventa Makeup Academy team twice: once for a taster course, and a second time to learn more in-depth, both in late fall 2018 - and I have been in touch with them since then to order products and ask questions. They have been patient in explaining things, diligent in making sure I was comfortable and able to follow through on what I learned at home, and I could not be happier that I found them. I'll keep going back for brush-up courses (no pun intended) and recommend them to both the most basic beginner to the seasoned professional.

I have attended several classes at Seventa Makeup Academy and thoroughly enjoyed each one of them from start to finish. The team is absolutely fantastic and are there to teach you everything there is to know about the makeup industry and products involved. The classes have all been in depth and very helpful for a beginner such as myself. I have learned a lot from Juan and Linda and i would definitely come back one day to do more advanced courses.

I recently completed the retail makeup artistry course with Seventa Makeup Academy. The team is brilliant and I feel like I've come away with so many valuable skills. The course is in-depth and covers everything you will need to go into a job in the retail environment. If you are looking to go into a makeup-based retail job, I would highly recommend this course.
I have since worked with Seventa Makeup Academy on a few projects and would highly recommend them to work with, as I've had such enjoyable experiences. Jeff and Juan are fantastic people and I'd definetly work and train with Seventa again in the future.

I had the most amazing experience I was a novice when I started the course It was very organised Workshop, everything explained beforehand the studio was fantastic, I felt very comfortable. I enjoyed the practical side of the workshop not only did I learn a new skill I had great fun. Juan& Jeff are amazing,the most professional guys I’ve ever met in the industry I would recommend their course if you’re just starting out or in the professional industry already.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. I booked a Saturday group session for a small hen party. Jeff was fantastic with the booking, always replying no matter what time of day. They made us feel so welcome and Linda was an amazing teacher. Would definitely recommend, great value for money as well ????

I had a fantastic couple of hours with my daughter in a private lesson with Linda learning makeup tips. It's a great way to learn the basics by watching then applying yourself (or in my case my daughter applying my foundation as well as her own). Linda was great at answering our questions and de mystifying. The products are lovely and you can see what you've used on a tablet and then buy to try at home (with a discount which is even better). Nice studio - light and airy, relaxed and intimate.Thank you for a great experience - especially organising a private session.

We had the pleasure of working with Seventa for Pride 2019. I run a group called Gaymers iNC. a huge LGBTQ+ community group. 20 of us came to get body painted here and had the best experience. The artists were very professional. We were looked after from the beginning till the end. We were treated with respect and any questions we had were answered quickly. Would highly recommend this academy!

Loved this session - made it all look so easy, and we found out that actually it's much easier than you think!! Fantastic afternoon with the lovely people at Seventa, only complaint is that it was very hot and we didn't even get offered a glass of water over the 3 hour session. Would highly recommend though, and the products are great and reasonably priced! :)

We have booked their services for a beginners makeup masterclass, but disappointingly learnt nothing. Youtube has more details than the lady who taught us. I will not recommend unless you will make sure and request for a senior makeup artist would be the one to cater the session.

A brilliant experience. Linda and Jeffrey are great and Linda's way of showing how to look after your skin and apply makeup is genius. We both learnt loads about what works for us and how to apply seamless and blended makeup. Would love to do it again
Also bought £200 of products as it's really quality stuff.

I found this class exceptionally informative and great value for the money. The teacher, Oya, was fantastic at sharing with the class her knowledge and skills and demonstrated a high level of expertise. I definitely left the class feeling much more educated about the steps involved to ensure a flawless look. She took her time to ensure everybody felt comfortable, even running past class time. I would highly recommend this course to any beginner because I came not knowing much and left with a wealth of knowledge that I can now share with others. Thank you.

I had a makeup master class and it was great! I went with my friend and we were very impressed with how well we ended doing our own makeup during the class. The makeup used was very gentle for the skin. Juan is very nice and very well experienced :)

I bought a make-up class for my Mum and I with a Groupon voucher. We had some initial difficulty confirming a suitable class time (our first choice was cancelled), but communication was always very good and the staff were very helpful.
The class itself was really good. Mum and I really enjoyed it and felt we came away with lots of useful tips! There were only four of us present, so it was possible to get lots of personal advice. The teacher was very friendly and professional. She recommended lots of products but she was not on a sales pitch, which was nice! All in all a very good experience - I would recommend it!

Juan was so informative and friendly and it was really useful to be able to watch the techniques being demonstrated on each of the attendees before practising on ourselves with help from Juan. I will definitely use some of these tips next time I'm getting ready for a night out!

Had a one-to-one class as I was the only participant at that time. Learnt lots of tricks from a makeup artist with over 25 years of experience in fashion (unfortunately I don't remember her name). She gave me personalized advice on how to apply makeup for day and evening looks. Highly recommend this 2-hour masterclass! You also get a free brush set :)

Juan is great instructor. He is extremelly knowledgable but fun and friendly at the same time. The way he teaches is very relaxed, so you end up experimenting with new things until you achieve the look which makes you happy. Highly recommend.

I went with my friend to the make up master class. We booked it through wowcher. It was really good value for money. The lady teaching us was really lovely. We learned so much. From removal of make up and skin prep, to a full face of make up. We learned how to do a Smokey eye and how to contour also. It was really informative. I would really recommend it. There is an opportunity at the end to purchase the products used with a 30% discount. The venue is also really lovely.

Poor Experience - Would Not Recommend
My sister and I attended the 2 hour makeup class at the Shoreditch location on Saturday 15th August. As two busy professionals with not much leisure time we were really looking forward to the experience.
The makeup artist proceeded to demonstrate several looks on each of the participants, but most were unflattering. One of the ladies in our group left with a green tint to her complexion following the over application of green corrector and another left with clumpy looking lipstick and poor eye makeup, etc. Those with fair to medium skin tones (e.g. NC10-25 in Mac, fair-medium in Bare Minerals) also found it difficult to colour match the foundations as there appeared to be limited colour choices. As a result some used shades that were clearly too light or dark for their complexions. A more experienced artist would have suggested an alternative product range or suggested blending shades.
The instructor was unprofessional; she left midway through the session to eat her salad and fish sandwich and constantly complained. In addition to this she did not offer clear instruction and had a poor attitude. The environment was not supportive, instructive or pleasant. She clearly played favourites, offered sharp and rude comments to some and ignored others.
The venue was also unsuitable. It was no larger than 13M2 and incredibly hot.
My advice to anyone considering this course is not to do it - there's much more enjoyable ways to spend two hours of your day. You're much better off watching a YouTube tutorial or booking an appointment at your local beauty counter and purchasing a product.
We left disappointed and upset and would not recommend.

Nothing special, I attended the 2 hours masterclass booked via GroupOn, something you could've learnt with a YouTube tutorial.
By the way, they don't give you the things you used as said on GroupOn, they just give you a very basic set of brushes at the end of the evening.
In the two hours they don't cover day and night makeup as said on the ad.
I don't particularly recommend this, I mean, it is not bad, but you could save money and time with a tutorial online, that's just my opinion.
