It was really good considering it was on zoom as I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to see what to do, therefore was better than I expected. Also I feel like we fitted quite a lot in over the course of 5 days in total

I got sick at the beginning of the course and the tutor did a great job getting me up to speed and she was extremely supportive until I finished. Now I can get a good job in the industry which I could only dream about in the past.

It was different to anything I had done before and I had the opportunity to learn a new skill. I like how informal the course was and although using Zoom would not be my ideal way to learn, it was not as bad as I thought it would be.

I attended in the leyton branch. I have the admit staff were friendly tutor manjola was an excellant teacher i learnt alot and i am a confident hairdresser. But we my whole class (except one) has not recieved our certification we finished july 2020 and still recieved nothing but excuses. I think this is ridiculous. For ages there was no reply at all. We were promised support anytime which we never got.

At beauty college, I completed a level two and level three in nail technology. When I finished training CPBA, I continued to practice and study, focusing on acrylics because that is what I wanted to work with. I created social media accounts to connect with people in my area and then my career just went from there! I now have a business with regular clients and I rent space at Glamour Ready, a salon in Walton on the Hill, Surrey. The skills and qualifications that I have gained from going to beauty school have enabled me to be able to work within salons and push myself within self employment where there are no limits to my success. I always wanted to be self employed so it could fit around my daughter and so I could provide a better future for her. One day, I would like to open my own salon and bring out my own brand of nail products.

I had a little bit of previous experience and I was already interested in nails, so I decided to get a professional qualification to help me with my next step. I completed a level three diploma in nail technology at CPBA. The beauty course went for 17 weeks, part-time at one and a half days each week. I really enjoyed my beauty training. Everyone was helpful and my tutor knew a lot. It was just a re-ally good atmosphere to learn in. Once I finished the beauty therapy course, I began to work in a salon as a nail technician. After about six months I was given the opportunity to teach at CPBA and I’ve now been tutoring at the beauty academy for about two years and I absolutely love it, it’s amazing.
