Brand new to the beauty industry, with a complete career change in mind and as a mature student, 49 to be exact, I recently did a Gel Polish course here, and loved it so much that I went back a month later and started a Hard Gel Polish course. Just working my way through my case studies and hoping to qualify very soon. The girls here are really friendly, and make you feel really relaxed. The knowledge and expertise they share is exceptional. Thank you ladies for making me feel so welcome. Special thanks to Nikki and Zoe, who showed me you’re never too old to learn. Would recommend Debut Academy to anyone ❤️

I’ve had 2 lots of Gel nails done with the students and various massages. My nails have looked gorgeous both times and the Gel polish has lasted really well. The massages have been excellent, and the girls have been lovely. I always feel very lucky to be able to take part, lovely treat!

Its a shame really as the people are lovely but when I was looking to start my training I came to them asking for an apprenticeship, they took my details and said they will be looking for me - they seemed really keen! I then had a salon near me who I contacted about putting me on a apprenticeship, they said they are interested and wanted Debut to contact them so they could talk to them, I straight away told Debut about this as I wanted to get started ASAP, they kept telling me they would talk to them but the salon said they never heard from them, I chased them every day and nothing ever came from it... wasted my time really.
I cant say much on the actual courses as I never had the chance to do them, they never came back to me on this situation or why they never contacted that salon, and they never contacted me again in regards to other apprenticeships.

Place is nice, staff are lovely however their eyelash tint treatment is not good. First came here a few years ago when I first moved to wickford, wasn't good, not all lashes covered, she removed after 5 minutes and it all came off within a week. Regularly go elsewhere but couldn't get a suitable appointment so revisited and advised on last time and staff where more than happy to apply it for longer however half the eyelashes still aren't dyed, very disappointed. Lady offered to try again but thought it would be pointless. So bit of a waste of a morning and now need to get in elsewhere asap.
