The pharmacist named Solene is a credit the medical industry. She took the time to over the medications I was collecting, even though the store was busy, she helped me put my mind to rest. If you want help or advise from here, please do ask for Solene.

Terrible service . I went to collect prescription which was ordered by my GP at the morning. For collection at 6pm prescription was no ready.. After waiting more then 15 min. finally I had my tablets. I must say the shop was empty only me and the staff. When I've open my tablets all cuts. I wonder why? This is happening 2 time for me and I will never back to this place again They are terrible!!! I wonder did they have manager to see what they employ are doing? Service is generally slow, and on both occasions can hear lots of customers complaining about stuff that you'd expect as pretty basic stuff from a pharmacist. Just try a different pharmacy, not worth the hassle at all.

This pharmacy is a disgrace! Prices are 40-50% higher then either online or in Superdrug next door. Especially during pandemic they decided to bump up their margins to astronomical sizes. Shame on you!!!

Been using this pharmacy for years. The old pharmacists and staff were always friendly and efficient - only one old staff member is there - the new pharmacist and staff are unfriendly and rude. I have interacted with them 2/3 times now and they are just sooo cold and rude. Definitely finding a new local pharmacy - I ONLY used to support them as they were a local business - but these new owners/pharmacists don’t deserve my custom. Might as well go to boots or superdrug.

I bought some masks here and none of the staff was wearing masks. Shocking. They are for sure doing a high risk job. They sell masks but don't wear them ???????? Even the staff of the supermarkets wear mask.

Used the pharmacy counter as couldn't be bothered to go to one of the fairly nearby chain chemists. Counter assistant not particularly welcoming or friendly, especially when I asked to speak to the pharmacist after I got my prescription, but pharmacist friendly and helpful. There's quite a lot in the store but somehow shelves still look half empty, prices higher than the chain chemists. Wheelchair accessible, central aisle to counter fairly wide.

Shocking service. I've tried twice to pick up a prescription they had received by fax - after the first time they admitted (after my prescriber investigated and I'd gone by this point) they'd made a mistake and to come again. So now I have come again, and they can't find it. Service is generally slow, and on both occasions can hear lots of customers complaining about stuff that you'd expect as pretty basic stuff from a pharmacist. Just try a different pharmacy, not worth the hassle.

This is a small local pharmacy but still has a large range of products (make up, hair accessories, bubble baths, shower gels, shampoo and conditioners, deodrants, perfumes, baby products, healthy living products, hats, scarfs, gloves umbrellas and medication) for sale at good prices. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the store is very clean and tidy all products are very well displayed and clearly labelled. This pharmacy also offer Western Union services.

Excellent pharmacy, certain products are cheaper than what you'd get from neighbouring stores, the staff were very thorough with their answers to all my questions and they even suggested certain deals to help me pay less and save more money

It's a bit dated in its decor and some of the shelves are repetitive or sparse, but stocks all the medicines I might need and the staff are helpful and friendly. There was a queue when I went, such is the way with things, but it cleared very quickly. More of a problem for me was the £5 minimum card payment. Totally good as a pharmacy if you are in the area.

Disgusting staff, low stock of medicine. When I walked in there were three women staffs laughing about something for 5mins and let me wait — then I gave them my prescription, they looked at it and laughing out loud at my prescription again, and looked at me Is giving some eye drops such a hilarious thing? Retards shouldn’t be running a pharmacy I’m afraid.

Staff are friendly, and they're open good hours if you work locally. Occasionally they'll try to charge more for something than the price on the shelf says, so be wary.

Was told the pharmacist was out for 5-10 minutes so they couldn’t give out hayfever tablets. Waited 15 minutes and they told someone else the exact same thing. Get more pharmacists so there is always someone there. Pretty inconvenient to be out during the business lunch hour.

Went in 5 months ago, could not fill prescription. Waste of time. Went in again this week, all staff exhausted, lady behind counter coughing; I was promised a call when the order could be picked up but was never called. Standards need work.

Great privately-owned pharmacy. Excellent customer service, friendly staff and knowledgable and efficient pharmacists at the back who will always freely give advice on any medical matter where they can. Have been going here for many years and have always stayed loyal. It's a crying shame that retail monsters like Superdrug opened up virtually next door when they have no standing or interest in the local community. Still, it's a Superdrug without a pharmacy so it's useless anyway as Apex sell most of the same products anyway. Thoroughly recommended.

Large and well-stocked pharmacy. The £5 minimum on card payments is lame.

As another reviewer pointed out - 'careless' is the word. Not exactly a trait you want from a medical service provider. I was told that a medicine I asked for otc and needed urgently was sold by prescription only in the UK. Later walked into Boots and it was handed to me immediately. I believe Apex outright lied (and seemed to take pleasure in admonishing me) rather than lacked knowledge.

I called prior to my first visit to see if they sold a particular over the counter medication in the generic form. I was told they did and when I arrived was given the wrong thing. I asked for the capsules rather than the hard pills because I'm sensitive to taste and find capsules easier to swallow and was almost given the capsules as I'm familiar with the packaging but when I asked for two, assuming they only had one box left was handed two smaller boxes I hadn't seen before. I was home before realising the mistake so I decided I would simply go back on my way home from work the following Monday. After standing around for 10 minutes while they dealt with what appeared to be more unhappy customers, i was finally served. I asked for the capsule version of what I was previously sold and was told they didn't sell them. I paused for a moment, confused but before I could even explain I was sold them just a couple of days prior but given the wrong thing, the woman rudely cut me off and repeated herself, not bothering at all to hear me out. I should have tried again but as I suffer from social anxiety and this interaction was heard by everyone in the pharmacy I was left feeling embarrassed and upset so I left. I won't be visiting apex pharmacy anytime soon and have already advised my friends and colleagues who work in the area about the unpleasant service.
