Young woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Started mixing up prescriptions and telling me about some other person’s medication - including their personal details! I was shocked. She then laughed about not finding my prescription. Is that funny? I don’t really think so. Laughing at your own incompetence is crazy. Never going back.

This is an outstanding local pharmacy. I had a fit to fly covid test at 9.15 am today and at 6 o'clock this evening, the pharmacist phoned me and told me my test was negative and that he had mailed my results and fit to fly certificate to me. The cost was cheaper than any other I have seen. What an outstanding service!

Due to the medication I am on I was having to go daily to a pharmacy on seven sisters Rd, I had problem after problem with this branch and reluctantly requested to move to JC Wise although I had never used this pharmacy before they were the closest to my home so I thought at least there would be one benefit if nothing else. However I was plesently surprised after joining and noticing the consistency of the service I received, they have always been very helpful in doing whatever is in their power to make my life easier and I have for the first time felt like I have been treated like any other customer coming through their door, which has never been the case previously as I had become used to being treated differently or looked down at by every other pharmacy I had previously gone to (and I have been to a lot during my 16 years of being on and off this medication). Now I NEVER right reviews ever but after reading some of the negative reviews for this pharmacy led me to believe that either they are point blank lying or they are not telling the whole story in other words missing out the bit about how they may have acted to staff. They are the loveliest people and by using this pharmacy made me realise that I don't deserve to be treated the way I had just accepted for so many years. So all I can say is in all the 60+ pharmacies I have used over the years there isn't one quite like this. And one day I am going to get the confidence to tell them this in person but I hope they get to read this review x x x

Wise Chemist in Hornsey Road is run by a FIRST CLASS pharmacist second to none. Justin looks after his clientele with such professionalism, empathy, care and kindness going beyond the call of duty - he wraps EACH daily medication seperately and places them neatly in a paper-bag. This may not sound like much until you realise that EVERY pharmacist in N.London doles out a 3 or 4 day supply in ONE bottle and hands it to you MINUS any paper-bag! This is ONE small reason why this gentile homme is a star - he's gone out of his way to prescribe OTC medicines ensuring he's included the cheapest to the costlier varieties for YOU to decide which one to plumb for. I will be transferring all my other copious medications from one other Archway chemist to Wise and I recommend you all do the same if you want to be treated like a human being!

I can confirm other bad reviews on here. Just put the lady (old one) in her place, very rude Lots of people in front of me so I asked if anyone else was waiting and she says sarcastically they're all waiting. I guess they're not used to people talking back as they looked a bit shocked when I said it was blatantly obvious people were waiting. Not recommended.

Owner is really nice. Just a shame they have a rude male pharmacist.
He is arrogant, and stands there arms folded trying to seem intimidating. He’s so arrogant, it’s a shame the female pharmacist doesn’t, work full time. Never had a problem here until HE started working there. But now I have the best pharmacists. They treat you as a human being, so it’s a pleasure to deal with them.
So Jc wise NEVER AGAIN.

Not especially friendly on first visit but after shopping there a few times they have become much more welcoming and friendly.
Prices seem to be very competitive on some products and they have avery good range of specialist cleaning materials and household chemicals.

Spoke several times on the phone to a woman in the practice who was rude, dismissive and unhelpful. My prescription was meant to be sent over to the chemist and failed in the first instance, but on resend the woman in the practice confirmed with the health provider that my prescription was received even though it wasn't - she then starting giving me the full address, birth date and name of someone who is definitely not me! What a data breach. I asked her what had happened and she just laughed and said she didn't bother checking the name with the health provider when they asked if she'd received it. So she accepted some random person's prescription, starting telling me all about their prescription, then laughed at me for not being able to get my prescription. Horrible experience, will never go here or attempt to use this pharmacy again.
