I recently attended Bristol Street Motors to take delivery of our new Qashqai. Due to fears of impact of Covid-19 we were quite apprehensive on arrival. However Bridie met us at the entrance and immediately put us at our ease. Great attention was paid to space awareness and sanitising throughout the transaction and the large open office provided excellent ventilation. Bridie’s friendly disposition and attention to detail ensured our visit was completed quickly and satisfactorily. I would certainly recommend to anyone with similar concerns to ours that Bristol Street Motors Company and staff are working hard to alleviate your concerns.

Well on reading previous reviews I think Grace Walker will have to be renamed Amazing Grace! She delivers on every aspect of purchasing a car. She is efficient, knowledgeable, extremely friendly and likeable but at no time pushy. She made the whole process stress free and I would most certainly recommend you to friends and family.

Booked a service with Bristol Street Motors Volvo, only to find out when I turned up they'd quickly and quietly closed the franchise over Christmas. No communication to let me know (they text to confirm the booking so this wouldn't be too much to expect). I know this is Nissan, but I'd be surprised if there was much of a different approach to customer service between any of the Bristol Street Motors franchises. I'd steer clear of Bristol Street Motors if you can.

To be honest wouldn’t even give them one star if I could. Disgusting service. Bought car couple of months ago, great service prior to signing. As soon as we signed and returned one problem after another. So they didn’t unlink the car to the previous owner so we couldn’t get the car linked to us and use it correctly for the app features. Then the cable in the boot had been removed from the bag. No doubt to put in another car and elude another customer to supposed good service. I could go on but what’s the point, they don’t care! I seriously would not recommend this branch to anyone. For how much a car costs, it’s not asking a lot for a bit of service. Avoid at all costs! Oh and don’t bother trying to get any ones attention as you enter the store, too busy caring about themselves.

Be aware before buying a used vehicle from Bristol Street Motors Nissan. It has taken over a month since buying a used Leaf to get every issue sorted. I had even begun planning for small claims court to get the paintwork repaired. 3 additional visits where I had to get the bus to and from Nissan without reimbursement. I’ve twice emailed Vertu motors customer service without any reply or general follow up. Every time I’ve had an issue, I’ve had to chase them for a solution despite many promises they'd be in touch. If I hadn’t, nothing would have been resolved. Here’s all my problems from start to finish. I paid above market value for my car, no discounts - that was my stupid choice, but I balanced this with the fact that a large company like Bristol street would look after me if I had any issues. To an extent, they did. When I picked the car up, the stonechips which should have been ‘smart repaired’ were in a different colour red and looked like they’d been filled in with a sharpie. Some had been missed. They were awful. I purchased the £800 extended warranty which I was clearly told on multiple occasions included the main electric car battery. I was told this even with the paperwork in front of me to sign where it stated clearly this wasn't the case. It took a further 5 days for them to begin processing the refund - Only after another email from myself asking why it hadn’t arrived in my account and then miraculously it arrived the same day. FYI, warrantywise DO cover the traction battery but are more expensive. I got a decent discount for being an existing customer. ‘Pro pack’ floor mats were thrown in as a deal sweetener. They weren't in the car when picked up and I only got them after I chased it in an email. I was told multiple times that the car was serviced. 2 years were missing from the book after picking the car up. On the second visit, these were written in the book but still left me with a car that required a major service in 3 months time. This needed to be done on a third visit (after a complaint to Vertu motors and a phone chat with Darren the manager) along with the paintwork, where the sharpie marks had now been coated with lacquer - still the wrong red in 4 places. Darren organised for the service to be done at Ilkeston, closer to home. Despite two very pleasant people telling me they’d organise for my paintwork to be resolved - after I emailed them a week later to check on progress, I was told to speak to Derby to get it sorted, no apology and no solution until yet another Vertu motors complaint email and telling Ilkeston that their customer service was extremely disappointing. At this point, Ilkeston stepped up, apologised and gave me a contact in Derby’s servicing dept to speak to. Never did get a reply from Vertu. Again, I had to chase that contact, but I'm glad I did as finally, the stonechips are how they should have been when I picked the car up. This is the worst, most non-existent customer service I’ve ever seen and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

I had been looking to buy a new car for quite some time, and although i had visited other car dealerships. the service i received was poor and patronising from these other companies, they assumed that because i was a woman, they could try and feed me a story and lay on the hard sell at inflated prices. I then went back to my home town of Derby and visited Bristol Street Motors (Nissan). this was the best decision i ever made. Jamie Brooks and Lee Hanlon greeted me and took the greatest of care with me, they listened to me and what i was looking for. they took their time to discuss options, and showed me vehicle availability, even going as far as to look at other branches and discussing options of collection from other stores. I settled on two cars that i liked, but the Nissan Juke won. I went out on a test drive and was very pleased and though my current car was an automatic and the Juke was a manual, this wasn't an issue at all. When we got back into the branch, Jamie and Lee were very honest and transparent about the costs and my options if i the chose finance route. and went above and beyond to make sure i 100% understood everything and was happy when i left the showroom. I fell in love with the car on that test drive, it was great looking, smooth and the interior had everything i could wish for in a vehicle. It is so economic on fuel i couldn't be happier, however, i believe that it was Jamie and Lee's considerate attitude, attention to detail and their honest transparent way of working that clinched the deal for me. If ever i need a new car in the future i will definitely travel back to the Derby showroom to make my purchases. Also as there is a Bristol Street Motors in Exeter i do not have far to travel to maintain my new car. I would 1 million percent recommend Bristol Street Motors to all my friends and family and anyone one else who wants to purchase a new car. They are professional, honest and transparent and go out of their way to make sure you make the right decision in your purchase.

Her knowledge and attitude puts one at ease as soon as you meet her, nothing is too much trouble. Her customer service skills are not just to meet your expectations, but also to exceed them. I would have awarded 5 Stars if only the arrangements made with Scott on the day I purchased my Juke were kept. My 4 Stars go to Grace ( Bless Her ) entirely as she literally stopped me from breaking down in tears. My experience would probably be written on pages and not just here in a few sentences as I felt so distraught on the day but Grace sorted everything out and if it weren’t for her I would have asked for my money back and gone elsewhere. So a little word in your ear Bristol Street Motors Nissan Derby you are very lucky to have Grace, she is a little diamond and if I decide to return to you to purchase your new Juke I hope for my sake and sanity that Grace will still be with you .... if not then I will go wherever Grace goes to purchase my new car ????

She is a asset to Nissan (Bristol street motors) Hi, I have contact the dealership and the sales person about my radio constantly cutting out and to date I have not had a reply hence writing it on here. My radio cuts that much where I cannot listen to one song to add, the sat nav will turn itself off and reload and loss the address. Is there a system update for this?

Good customer service (at the counter) but poor service. Cost an arm and a leg too, in my experience, I would not recommend even if car on warranty as they try to find a way around this, taking a long time to sort too. I suspect they report things wrong that dont need work for years in order to bump up the bill, things that may need changing eventually, but still good for 50,000 miles+ but made to seem an imminent problem. Be wary.
