One of the most beautiful markets in London area . We went during Christmas and it was decorated beautifully .. there are many shops as well as eating joints there. There are many local London brand shops there .

A lovely slice of old London tucked away just across the road from Liverpool Street. Lovely shops and architecture. The Christmas carols yesterday were a wonderful Dickens Ian throwback

I knew this when it was still an active market and it's good to see it has been retained in all its splendor. I was trying to explain what it was like in the early hours of the morning to young friends. He couldn't imagine the market porters and a few city workers with pies and pints at 6am. I was surprised to gain an audience of other people while explaining to them. So much of our heritage has been lost which is sad for the young that are interested. Also made me feel really ancient when one of them said I knew so much about OLD London!

This covered market is amazing inside - it's like stepping back in time. Was used in scenes for one of the Harry Potter films. Very beautiful place to see, especially at Christmas time with the tree up

Amazing architecture. One of the oldest markets in London. Historically a meat and poultry market, now fresh produce as well as some well known brands. Closed at weekends

A very retro and cool undercover market. Noisy due to the design but always worth a visit

Went on Thursday evening - peak time, a lot of city bankers having a pint. There was even live music with a string duo playing in the middle of the market.

My favourite thing about Leadenhall Market is the intricate Victorian architecture; just being inside that building makes me smile, as there's something so gorgeous about the structure that it almost feels like stepping into another world - and this is very possible when one realises that the market was used for some of the Diagon Alley scenes in Harry Potter, including the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron! There's a great array of shops at Leadenhall - mostly higher end - and is definitely a place for discovering unique purchases. Beautiful!

Beautiful place but mostly empty at 4pm on a Saturday. Beautiful architecture and details and look up for more sights. Nice and clean too.
