Great place for foodie.I have been there 4-5 times and food is awesome. Recently tried chicken arepa from Venezuelan food stall which was awesome. Also tried iced teas from one of the stall and it was super refreshing, tried peach & lemon-ginger. It is open till 8 pm and till 9 pm in summer.

The Curry Shack is my favourite place for food in London. Every single time the lads serve up great curry. For £7 the portion you get is huge and will fill you throughout the day.

Happy to have stumbled upon the food market during a walk. Relatively hidden from the normal walk along south bank, but not too far from the skate park, wagamama and all the other shops along the river. Too many good options to decide between so I'll have to go back and try other vendors. There are good, dessert and drink vendors and plenty of options for everyone. I ended up with a Dosa Chaat which didn't disappoint. Vendors were very nice and also took cards. No seating but people were using the barriers to sit on and there were also some large steps that made a great spot to sit and eat and watch the market. Will definitely be back to have another Dosa and to try other vendors. Very happy to have found this and support small businesses.

It’s one of the most popular and best markets to go to by the Thames. Lots of food and drinks options and has a great vibe over the weekends. Southbank has many visitors over the Christmas period.

Great place for a diverse food experience. We had the polish sausage, which was excellent and the polish beer was superb. So were the burgers from the burger stand. We also tried the lamb samosa which was good. But the canolli were a letdown. Nothing special. If you happen to be in London give this place a try. You won't regret it.

Wide range of world cuisine on offer, decent social distancing measures in place. Free hand sanitiser on offer. One star knocked off for no seating (removed due to C19 presumably) and quite a few miserable vendors. The Chocofruit vendor was very friendly you should buy some, it's delicious!

Wonderful atmosphere and great market massive selections of food cosines.. i love farmer markets because you can see what u eat cooked fresh in front of you.. i tried vegan burgers by one of the chef and it was very delicious .. my friends had Indian food, wraps and Mexican taco.. the only problem is that there are no good seating around for you to eat also the drinks option water and cola are are not available in every stall.. the majority of stalls they accept card payment .. some stalls sell deserts .. it’s fairly large and lovely market to have a quick bite! The market is close to waterloo station and London’s eye

Great area to go for a walk with a variety of food options along the way. I wanted a taste from home so I went for the Pabellón booth, named after the traditional dish from Venezuela (white rice, shredded beef, black beans, and fried plantains). I got the Pabellón rice box and added avocado, pico de Gallo, and garlic sauce. The combination of flavors was absolute perfection, and the portion was just right. Everything was well-cooked, tasty, and worked well together. This is a great representation of Latin America/Venezuelan food here in the UK!

This is a great spot for getting a variety of different types of food. The polish sausage box is delicious and the sweet treats from the doughnut stall are all amazing, especially the pastel de nata. I wish it were open every day.

Bustling food market. Well organised and laid out. Went several times in winter and the organisers know what they are doing - good lighting, proper layout makes for good direction finding. Great communal atmosphere .. Impressed by the range of hot food to go and you can picnic by the riverside. Artisan bakes and the spit-roast lamb .. awesome!

Lots of good quality food, a bit pricy but a few of the vendors do offer a discount if you work locally but not all. Gets very busy from 12:00 -14:00.
Beer and offer alcoholic drinks available if you like.
Good vegan and veggie options available too.

A plethora of ootions for food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including some good craft beers and homemade wines. As it is so centrally located, and I assume the rents are exorbitant, the food and particularly some of the craft beers can be very expensive. There is food from all round the world but on a hot day get there early for around lunch, as some of the best options sell out quickly.

I have visited this market many times and its always a culinary delight, with so many stalls serving delicious food from around the world.
Only downside is that it can get quite packed at weekends and could benefit from better seating arrangements.

There are around 20 street food stall here. They serve good burgers, Chinese, Thai, Indian, Juices, Sweets and beverages. The minimum cost for any item like rice or burger is around 5 pounds to 7 pounds. The quantity is good for 1 person and test is also good.
I have tried Indian biryani 7 pounds, almost similar to Indian real biryani. Tried burger and was good in test. Also tried some spice Curry and rice for 6 pounds which was really spicy.
You can test them free if you want as they offer you test. Small seating arrangement is provided but don't expect you will get seat as many times you will found this area crowded.

A must for any visit to london! And a must for food fans!
Over they years they just add to the area and now there are tons of bars, restaurants, a food stall market (on select days), street entertainment, arcade, London eye, etc...
So a real hub for a night or day out in london. Its also part of a great walk along the river side and in the evening, just a stunning romantic walk.
Something for everyone im sure, but also worth seeing what events are on.
Be warned it can get very touristy by the eye, but nothing to unbearable.

Easy to find and great location, lots of food choices and yummy places. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free, this place has it all. Very reasonably priced and potions sizes are good. Lots of stalls give free samples or try before you buy. Easily the casual place to eat if in the area.

Smaller than I remembered, but it had some interesting food stalls. My kids tried the fruit kebabs and loved them. The food is a touch expensive for what it is , however the lively, eclectic atmosphere makes it a nice way to spend a afternoon or early evening with friends. Try visiting the Underbelly while there to try some food and take in a show.

Street food has become very popular in London and at SC Food Market you will find some of the best in an attractive setting. There is something for everyone from good coffee with pastel de nata (Portuguese custard tarts), burgers, Ethiopian vegetarian platters, crepes and large flat pans of stews. There are also lots of stuff in jars (chutney) and gelato. Grab something to eat and go find a bench near the river, perfect at weekends.

Standard London prices but great hot quality food on the go. Was concerned about seating but plenty of seats even on a Saturday lunchtime. The polish stand serving Bigos was awesome!
