I had my first post lockdown deep tissue massage with Nicky this week and feel so much better for it. My body absorbed every move as I sank deeper in the massage table. I've booked again in 2weeks to keep on top of the good work we've started and catchup on all those treatments i've missed! Thanks again Nicky x

I've seen Fiona for a variety of issues, starting with a bereavement in 2018, once for back pain, and most recently throughout pregnancy. She's treated me for anything I've thrown at her! I would (and have) recommended her to so many people and have always enjoyed my treatments, not to mention the benefits which have always been felt almost immediately. A kind, intuitive and professional practitioner, and a calming, restful and restorative clinic.

I've sought Fiona's help for a variety of complaints – physical, mental and emotional. She's needled me for migraines, anxiety, joint pain and ear inflammation, to name just a few, and each time I've left her clinic feeling mellow, relaxed and warmed to the core. With her help the amount of migraines I get has drastically decreased and my anxiety levels drop after a treatment and stay low for a good couple of weeks. The joint pain in my knee she addressed during one treatment had vanished to the point of me not even remembering I'd complained about it when asked during a follow-up appointment. Finding a suitable acupuncturist is a deeply personal choice and I am incredibly pleased to have found Fiona.

I saw Fiona for acupuncture to treat stress and exhaustion. She really listened and created a calm nurturing space. The treatment helped me to feel grounded and calmer and allowed me to take a step back to make some major changes. I can’t recommend Fiona highly enough.

Had a treatment for G.E.R.D and although I was slightly apprehensive at first I was made to feel really comfortable and was amazed with the results. So glad I went for these treatments. As for needles, didn't cry once, Fiona certainly knows her onions. Highly recommended!

Hobbled into the clinic to get my back fixed after the first lockdown. Was fixed after 2 sessions and better than it had been in years, still feels great months later. Also resolved my neck pain (1 session!) and stress levels (this took a bit longer!! Rough times, blissed again now though.). Pretty amazing to be fair, something i would recommend trying 100%. The results have been amazing for me. Fiona is very kind and considerate when treating, and even put my needle hatred at ease. Best treatment i have had in years.

I’d highly recommend Fiona at The Sun Clinic. Fiona takes the time to tailor my acupuncture treatment depending on my pain, we’ve now got to a point where my pain is 10% of what it was, when nothing else I’ve ever tried works. Fiona has a lovely soothing voice and makes the acupuncture treatment very relaxing from start to finish.

I’ve been seeing Fiona for acupuncture for a few months now having planned to only go just the once! She’s treated me for anxiety and a myriad of other things but my panic attacks have gone from multiple times a week to less than once a month! I have had several acupuncture treatments with Fiona who worked intuitively each time. She has a wealth of experience in treating people and this shows in her calm and professional manner.

I am 10 years into peri-menopause. I can tolerate most things, cramps, mood swings, night sweats (or drenching in my case) but it was the migraines which I no longer wanted to endure. My migraines came like clockwork with my period and lasted anywhere from 4-11 days a month, (7 on average). Ibuprofen and paracetamol combined have no affect so I take rizatriptan. Unfortunately, the last rizatriptan only kept my migraine at bay for about 8 hours. They have become progressively worse; in the last year I have been to ER and called 111 twice. I didn’t want to take hormones but also didn’t want to continue like this, especially since I read a few studies and articles about the possibility of migraines causing brain damage or altering the brain. So, even though I am afraid of needles, I called Fiona. I have only been seeing Fiona for almost 2 months. My migraines have miraculously dwindled down to 1 medium migraine for an evening and about 2 days with slight pressure on my head. The other side affect, which was unexpected, was my mood change. I am so happy now. I feel as though I have risen out of a grey fog back to sunshine! I had no idea I was so unhappy until I suddenly felt like my happy self again. I still hate needles but I could kick myself for not having tried this earlier. If you don’t try it, you won’t know if it works for you or not. This has changed my life for the better, and there are no hormones. Plus, the only side affects are amazing! So, what I want to say to you is, if you have hormonal imbalances and migraines, before you try hormones, just give acupuncture a try. If you don’t try, you won’t know. In any case, good luck to all and I wish you do find a solution, whatever that may be, but hopefully it will be acupuncture, because it is amazing!! (And the needles aren’t as scary as I thought.)

I cannot recommend Fiona's treatments more highly, ive had many many acupuncture sessions with different practitioners throughout my life and she has given me really great results. Following treatment I would feel a big decrease in stress and anxiety plus the main reason for initially going was due to an ongoing problem with my thumb joint, it was stiff,pretty painful and I couldnt bend it. Within one session it was improved and by 5 it wasnt a problem at all and continues to be no problem! Many thanks Fiona! Her warm persona will put you at ease and her skill and wisdom as a practitioner is obvious.

Fiona is a highly experienced practitioner and has worked wonders for my sciatica, as well as other aches and pains. She is also a kind and caring person and I would definitely recommend her treatments.
