Just taken delivery of my third new CRV. After numerous telephone sales calls trying to persuade me to buy this new one we eventually agreed on a deal. I did say all the way through the process that I was reluctant to change as I was so pleased with the car. I was "promised" by Daniel their business manager i would be just as pleased with this one. Within 24 hours of taking delivery i had to return the car as it developed a fault. The sales team could not pass me on to their service department quick enough. I understand things go wrong but the attitude towards a customer once the sale is completed should not change. Disappointed to say the least. I am still waiting to get the fault fixed as "they have never seen this before".

My husband and I were thrilled with the service we received at Honda Derby. Richard Hamson made the purchase of our new family Honda CR-V quick and easy. We went to view and test drive the car on Sunday and we were picked up from Derby train station by Richard on Tuesday. I was disappointed to find the car had done nearly 900 miles more than what was originally advertised, as mileage was one of our main reasons for purchasing. I wouldn't have minded as much if this had reflected in the price; but it wasn't. The road tax was also to be paid and although only £30; from previous experience when buying from a dealer, they have always thrown the tax in. The log book was also put in my husbands name which was incorrect but had we been asked and it not be assumed, this could have been easily avoided. My last niggle would be the amount of fuel in the CR-V when we drove it away - although half a tank, considering we paid full price by bank transfer I would have expected a full tank of fuel wasn't too much to ask, Richard did try his best to accommodate this but it seems his manager was the sticking point. Overall the service we received was good, and I would recommend Honda, Derby for your next purchase.

Took our CRV in for some warranty work which was all fine. I was a bit disappointed that our car came back covered in bird muck. When I take our Auris to a Toyota dealer they always clean it.

We nipped into Honda before going to Merecedes and Audi but we never made it to the other dealerships. We were so impressed with the service and the quality of the cars that we knew we would not have to look elsewhere. We have had a couple of civics before and knew what reliable cars they can be. The new civic is such an exciting shape - we wanted a slightly bigger engine and heated seats so we plumped for the sport plus. We needed a couple of test drives to be sure and asked millions of technical questions. Richard took care of us the entire time, and was happy to chat Hondas all day long to us! We will be back soon to buy a CRV from him!

Pushy sales staff - more interested in making a sale no matter what! Will say anything, do anything - beware! Don't make instant decision to buy, go home, think about it, visit other dealers. I tried to cancel a decision made in haste - they refused and hounded me and kept my deposit!

We have just purchased our fourth Honda, the new Civic 1.0 litre. Having previously had 2 CRV's and an FRV, with the build quality and reliability, buying our 4th Honda was an easy decision. We have always received excellent service from Vertu (Lookers) Honda in Derby where the staff are always courteous and do everything to help us. Richard Hamson who helped us to buy the new Civic was no different. He explained the different options and answered all our questions easily and in a friendly manner (hope the tooth is OK!!). We would definitely recommend Honda cars and Vertu Honda in particular.

We have just collected a Honda 'Jazz' through the motobility scheme and are very impressed with the features of the car. My first impression of Vertu Motors was excellent as I had just been a another Brand's Showroom for what I thought was a test drive and there was no car available for me to drive! I walked into Vertu's showroom with no appointment and was shown straight to Richard Hamson, (the motobility specialist)who sat with us and assessed my mum's needs for the car before then showing us a model in the showroom. We were then taken outside and I was able to take a car out for a drive. It had everything that we needed so I then arranged a time to go back and place an order, All through the process Richard kept us informed. On collection day (despite the showroom being refurbished) we were still made to feel special. A few days after collecting the car Richard phoned to check that we were happy and to not hesitate contact him if I had any queries. Thank You Richard and Well done! :-)
