From the moment you walk through the door the reception is welcoming, always coffee on the go and Sales Executives are informative without being pushy. The staff in the showroom reflect the integrity of the Honda brand they represent. After handover of my used jazz I had reason to return with a battery problem. They immediately checked the vehicle and, having diagnosed a fault, fitted a new battery within 20 minutes. This shows the true quality of service when things don't quite go right!

This is exactly what are car dealership should be. From buying my partners car here a year previously, we have had great aftercare service, with videos of our services as well as great diagnostic support from the services team. The centre manager is always friendly and remembers customers by name and the team are always on hand to provide lifts to work when the car is in for service etc. We will definitely be looking to buy our next car from here too.

I collected my 4th new Honda civic today, 1500 Prestige. I would like to say from the start of talking a deal through to today's collection, Richard handled everything professionally and with a laugh and smile, all the staff at Derby Honda are friendly and I cannot recommend them higher. I have had all my civics serviced at this dealership and my wife usually takes the car in when its due and they arrange for her to be dropped in town and collected when the car is ready. I can honestly say all my deals with this dealership have been excellent which is why I keep going back. Thanks again Richard and the team.

Having been let down by my local Honda dealership, I travelled to Vertu Honda Derby who had the exact model I was after. After agreeing on a deal I picked up my Civic Sport just 3 days later. I have been a confirmed Civic fan for some years now and had various models, all from Chatsworth Honda, Lookers Honda and more recently Vertu Honda in Derby. Superb product from a great dealership. My latest version is the 1 litre three cylinder and I have to say it is the best I have had so far. The experience of sorting my latest purchase was made all the easier by the work done by Sam Richardson. Very patient, very professional and all questions taken on board and answered completely and honestly. A pleasure talking to Sam and working towards yet another Civic. Exactly how a main dealer should operate. Organised and very accommodating. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The same staff there each time too which is a rarity at some dealers (another main dealer I use for my VW there seems to be different set of service advisors each time I go in). Very pleased with the service as a whole. They even seem to know me by name and I've only been in half a dozen times total.

I used the Honda Used and Approved search on the internet and located a car at a local Honda showroom. I visited Vertu Honda Derby with my wife and children. Vick Sandhu very kindly showed me around the vehicle and sorted a test drive. The Nintendo console kept my children busy allowing me to spend time looking over the vehicle. While taking the test drive other staff valued my existing vehicle and gave a realistic valuation. The purchasing of the car was straight- forward with Vick explaining every stage. We have recently purchased our third Honda Jazz (all from Derby Vertu Honda), this time with Richard Hamson helping us through the buying process. We initially went to see what offers were on and what our current Honda Jazz was worth in part exchange. Richard was able to show us and talk through the different options that were available at this time some of which we had not thought of. After a test drive, we decided to think about it overnight and were not put under any pressure to make a decision that evening. Richard contacted us the next day and after answering a couple more questions we decided to purchase a Jazz. From then on Richard managed the sale very smoothly and efficiently. We collected the car and after Richard showed us the key functions of the controls we left very satisfied with the sale and the purchase. We are happy to continue to have a Honda and from the Derby branch as we have always had excellent support from the Sales Department, Richard in this case as well as the Service department.

My new Honda Jazz is fantastic, I'm really pleased with all the features, Honda have done a great job on this motor. The automation is there but very discrete, supportive, while taking the hassle out of driving. I was a little concerned that changing from a Civic to the Jazz would bring a lessened experience, but not at all.
The showroom experience with Dan Lewin was just what I wanted it to be. Not pushy, informative and supportive. Buying a car is an expensive experience and Dan appreciated this was also quite stressful. The reception when I went to pick up the car was fantastic and theatrical. Everyone in the dealership was friendly from the cleaner (it was a little late in the day) upward to the Vertu CEO!

We have just taken delivery of an almost new Honda Civic SE Plus. Its our second one and we love them - a great car with a great spec at a fairly reasonable price (new). This is our fourth Civic and we wouldn't have anything else, great engineering and attention to detail with a fabulous engine.
What was different for us was that this is the first time we have used Vertu Honda Derby - we have had a service there which was so good we wanted to buy from them too - and we can say that experience was as good as the car. Richard's attention to detail was as good as the Civic's but more importantly he did it with a very pleasant, none pushy way. Very professional and very friendly, making us feel as though we mattered in the deal. We have taken out a Service Plan because we know we can trust them and in the unlikely event that something goes wrong we believe they will fix it. What's not to like?
