After booking a test drive online I was contacted by Simon Hallas to confirm the appointment. Everything was ready on our arrival and he was knowledgable and friendly. He took into consideration our buying style and didn’t labour on areas that we had told him we weren’t interested in.
When we collected the car the unveiling of the car was a nice touch and again Simon made sure that we were completely happy with all aspects of the car before leaving.
Over all it was a good experience in a pleasant environment.

For the past 15 yrs I have had a Honda, the past 4 cars all being the wonderful Honda Jazz. My experience at Derby Vertu Honda, with Richard Hamson, was a seemless, informative and very engaging experience. To be fair, I always have the same 'happy' time whenever I visit the showroom. I appreciated Richard's honesty & his care to attention, especially when I was in a hurry. I feel the only (small) downside was the picture taking.............in my view, a waste of paper & time.

The finance deal and savings available were explained well by Vick, as was the urgency for accepting them as the offers were only available for a short time. Unfortunately the fact that the car had to be supplied the following week wasn’t highlighted until I had agreed to the deal and was told my preferred colour was not available in the timescale and, as waiting for one was not an option, I would have to have a colour that was available. This rather mired what is in fact a very reasonable offer that continues my 13 year association with Honda.

On the 20th January we visited Honda Derby to tentatively look at purchasing a new Civic having had our current Civic for 8 years. We were looked after by Sanjay and Dan who showed a high level of professionalism at all times. Dan gave us a very clear explanation of PCP finance and Sanjay covered all the other parts of the sale very well. We took delivery of our new car on the 30th January. The whole experience was made to be very special occasion and I can honestly say that everything went like clockwork and I cannot praise them enough. They are both a credit to their business and have left us very satisfied customers. I regularly use the dealership for servicing too and have always found everyone very friendly especially Lawrie.

I recently purchased a new Civic EX from Vertu Honda Derby with the 988cc turbo petrol engine. In the short period I have had this car I am very impressed with it, and the performance for such a small engine is excellent. Sanjay Kareer was the sales executive who dealt with the sale of the vehicle to me which included part exchanging my old vehicle. Sanjay is an extremely professional sales executive with a nice personality and dealt with the contractual arrangements very efficiently and kept in contact with me throughout the process. He followed this up later with a courtesy call after I had driven the vehicle for a few days.. He spent a lot of time explaining the controls of the vehicle etc before we left which is invaluable of course, particularly for someone of vintage years. Both my wife and I were impressed with the Honda Derby experience.

So happy to say that we received a very professional, and helpful service from Vertu Honda at Derby, particularly from Sanjay Kareer. Having identified that a Honda was the choice for our new car, Sanjay was both accommodating and respectful in presenting us with the options available. Still undecided after a test drive in two models, we were encouraged to bring our dogs to the showroom to see how they would be in the car (as this was the main reason for the new purchase). Finally having decided upon the car for us, Sanjay made the process of purchase and part exchange very smooth and efficient. Since the purchase, Vertu have remained in touch to provide aftercare and ensure that I am happy with the car. Would definitely recommend a Honda (Jazz or Civic) for fellow greyhound owners, in addition to recommending the Derby team at Vertu.

I did try Honda Nottingham ..but felt under too much pressure there ...so came back to the relaxed approach of Sam at Honda derby ... I did end up getting a new car from Honda derby ...but that was my own decision without any pressure of any kind ..highly recommend Honda derby ..full marks from a very happy customer ..

It has been nearly 20 years since I took delivery of a car from a dealer. In the meantime I have been using a 2001 Honda Civic for the last 14 years. That car had been totally reliable and was still in very good condition. but I thought it was time to treat myself to another car. I had decided upon having crossover/SUV for a number of reasons.
Due to this reliability of the old Civic a Honda HRV was high on my list to go and see. Sanjay at Vertu was a complete breath of fresh air compared to my experiences "20+ years ago. He listened carefully to what I wanted - a lightly used HRV and took a lot of trouble in researching for one in the Honda network which met my wishes.
A test drive was offered and was so good I was able to drive a demonstrator to my home in order for it to pass the deal clincher - it must fit in my garage. Well it did and also proved to be very comfortable and a good drive too.
Sanjay found me what I was looking for and the deal was done. Throughout the whole process I found Sanjay to be a very personable and a very helpful guy who was so willing to please. On handover of the keys he then spent at least an hour to explain how everything worked from the many controls available and even the installed sat nav etc.
Overall an excellent experience at Vertu at Derby where other people around were very pleasant and created a none pressure atmosphere.

The Sales Executive, Sanjay, has excellent communications skills eliciting from us our priorities in buying and listening properly to our responses. He was knowledgable about Honda products and answered our questions clearly. Above all, Sanjay's professionalism was demonstrated in his ability to support us in making an informed choice. He never made the mistake of pressurising in order to get a sale. We will definitely return to Honda Derby when we need another car in the future. Mention also of Simon, the branch Manager, who organised for us to be picked up from and taken back to Nottingham on the day we bought the car. I will recommend Honda Derby to family and friends.
