We had a wonderful experience at the clinic. A friendly and compassionate staff made this extremely delicate and emotional time easier to navigate. The odds were against us, but the staff were incredible and we welcomed our miracle baby girl in October 2019. Thank you for making our family complete x

They couldn't have been more warm, friendly, and supportive. Every stage of the process was explained clearly and they were always there to answer any questions and address any concerns. I was delighted with the results and I'm so grateful to everyone at the London Egg Bank and London Women's Clinic. Highly recommend.

Thanks to London Women’s Clinic I now have my family with my two beautiful children - my son 3 and my daughter who was born in August. It’s been a long and difficult journey but we’ve been supported all the way even with the difficult bits. It was definitely not straightforward but due to the perseverance and support of Dr Lamana and Balsam, the embryologist we now have our children. The nurses are knowledgeable and compassionate and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you

My nurse and doctor was really kind and welcoming they provide enough information before treatment to make you understand what will happen during procedure. They was also kind enough to help me through the difficult stages as some parts were uncomfortable and they helps reassure me and made sure i was okay or experiencing discomfort during the procedure. After treatment they provide after care and home care and they also confirm how many eggs were collected aswell then they make sure if you have post pains after treatment and provide medication which is nice of them. They also gave me a box of chocolate which was lovely of them. Very kind, professional and friendly people ❤❤❤

Many thanks to the Reception staff, Nursing team, Counsellor's and Consultants for the care I received. I'm a single mother and was always treated with wonderful care and kindness by all the staff at the Harley street clinic. The Single women's seminar was particularly helpful to me. I was a patient at the clinic from the Fertility MOT until the 7 week scan and I'm now the mother of a happy and healthy 4 month old baby boy!

I don’t normally do reviews, this is my first! But considering this was such a huge emotional/financial decision I thought I might be able to help anyone going through a similar situation. I spoke to quite a few clinics about my personal case and options, and the ladies on the phones took so much time to answer all my questions and made me feel so comfortable and at ease, and they’re the only ones who weren’t trying to push me to book a consultation or get me off the phone! Anyway after all my research I decided to book as they gave me so much confidence in the process (of course, the negative reviews made me a bit wary but I’m glad that I went into it with an open mind). My doctor was great, very professional and clear, and my treatment was mapped out step by step, I knew I could ask questions at any stage in the process and although it wasn’t the cheapest treatment I definitely got the care that I paid for so I’m forever grateful and can’t wait to come back in a few years time! Thank you LWC xxx

Overall I am very grateful to the clinic and staff and have a beautiful daughter as a sibling for our naturally conceived son. All of the nurses and particularly Sharon Walster were always very compassionate and our Doctor (Nair) was lovely (although one's contact with the doctors is minimal - personally I think this could be improved particularly at points where there is a potential issue where the nurses consult the doctor.... is the lining appropriately ready? How concerned should we be about smaller than expected foetus? etc). From an organisational perspective I would recommend patients check and double check everything and have a clear view of all the potential times you will need to be physicallypresent at the clinic. There were a number of occasions where I had extra admin or journeys or stress because people didn't plan ahead or were not clear (oh yes actually you do need progesterone injections this time, there is a follow up in person appointment that we didn't tell you about, writing prescriptions in a way that only allows use of a particular brand even when there are known supply issues etc). That being said the team always did try to solve the issues and we got there in the end. One of the male Doctors who we saw very early on needs to work on his bedside manner. It is true that you can't sugar coat the realities of reduced fertility in an older mother (I gave birth at 46) but his borderline rude, patronising and unempathetic attitude was very upsetting. I am glad we ultimately saw Dr Nair.

Absolutely appalling/terrible service from this clinic. Can they be trusted? Sometimes you wonder with the level of organisation they have, if they could actually arrange a proverbial in a brewerey. These people were meant to have a consultation follow up with me and my wife after all tests were done. Guess what, they have an odd system where they send you a meeting invite 10 minutes before your meeting is meant to start (well that's if they ever send it in the first place - because we didn't get one.) My wife was at work, I am at home, at 2pm there's no invite - so I ask my wife to follow up (as she had arranged all of this) and guess what, randomly they send out a retrospective invite for the 2pm meeting at 14:10. I mean I had stepped away from my desk now because I believed the meeting wasn't happening. I didn't get the invite for another 15 minutes, and when I joined now using my phone instead of my computer, I could see the consultant was already in full flow of conversation with my wife. I couldn't even participate in the meeting or hear anything and this meeting should never have gone ahead, let alone with just one party present and gave my wife all my details. This wasn't a call for double glazing, this was a call for something more personal. Apalling, terrible, disorganised - god knows what they'll do if you go further with them.

Avoid like the plague! Absolutely awful place. I actually don’t know where to start as so many things went wrong & the attitude from the staff is horrible. Me & my partner went in to do a egg sharing cycle - Got told by one nurse that my results looked ‘okay’ & were good enough to go ahead & egg share.. After quite a long wait, I had a phone call from a Dr stating that I had to pay £8k for ICSI. I explained that I am doing a egg share round & not a regular cycle, so got told that there was no record of me doing an egg sharing cycle. After a long time waiting and being pushed back & forth they finally found my forms & it went ahead. Then had another phone call about my injections & again stating that I owe them £1,200 (not the case), so another mess up. A few weeks later another phone call, the Dr saying that I can’t go ahead with egg sharing as now they’ve decided my fertility hormones were too low.. After a lot of going round in circles again, we stated that we are going ahead with egg sharing as that’s what we got told & that was final. Egg collection day has finally arrived; After being told that I would not have a lot of eggs & being brought down by the Dr’s & nurses I actually had a good amount - Unfortunately non of the eggs that were collected got to maturity. The lack of compassion from the clinic is disgusting - They basically shrug you off & move on. Oh & they failed to spot out that I was going through OHSS, one of the reasons why my eggs did not mature. Now, 2 months later my partner receives an email to say that we owe them £100 - When I paid the full amount I asked if there was any outstanding payments, to which the women stated NO. They are money grabbing & do not care about anyone.

Myself and my partner went here to get initial tests and consultation done. I couldn't understand the terms used by the doctor in the following consultation by phone (I have a doctorate in psychology). We were left on our own from there to have follow-on scans organised (this is explained in a lengthy letter emailed by a non-personal account). I concur with the opinions of other low-scoring Reviewers. Overall, I don't recommend this clinic.

I would tend to agree with the other reviews about lack of organisation, communication and empathy. After a few incidents, including receiving details of another patients treatment plan - (massive breach of confidentiality) which LWC brushed under the carpet. We decided we lost confidence in this clinic and have declined further treatments. We got the impression this clinic is only interested in making profit from other people's fertility struggles. In my initial consultation we felt like we were being read to from a script of how successful the consultant was at making women ovulate. My questions were waved away; particularly about the pelvic pain I have. Turns out, after visiting another clinic with a consultant who listens - I have had a diagnosis. All further treatments I was offered from LWC would have been a waste of money, because they wouldn't have worked. Further confirming our belief this clinic are only interested in making money off people's hopes for a baby. The fact that my response to a complaint in part blamed Covid-19, absolutely flawed me. Having paid thousands (plus travel expenses) to this clinic to be told the poor communication/treatment was because of Covid, yet the invoices and request for payments come through within minutes.

We came to the Harley Street Clinic after a terrible experience with a previous clinic. I was apprehensive to say the least but from our initial consultation, to all our subsequent appointments, I cannot fault anyone. The care and compassion has been excellent, information on treatment and pricing transparent, the efficiency of the clinic has been excellent and everyone has been professional. All calls to the clinic were returned within 20 minutes and when I needed support over a bank holiday weekend, the emergency number was staffed and answered. I feel I have been treated as an individual here and I cannot fault our treatment.

Currently using LWC Harley street. I highly recommend this clinic. The whole experience so far has been absolutely positive and amazing. Everyone from my Dr to the reception team are extremely friendly and informative, nothing is ever to much for them. My 5 stars massively goes to the wonderful nurse who looks after me currently (Coral) she is very informative, professional, friendly, approachable, and in my opinion a big asset to the clinic. Overall a brilliant clinic and team! My partner and I are very happy with the services we are receiving and we are both happy we chose this clinic for our IVF journey.

I started to contact with LWC since July 2019 and I am impressed by their efficient service and excellent customer care. All staff here are very helpful and informative. During the consultation I can ask many questions the doctor and nurse are always answer my questions with patience. I will specially thank Dr Jin Jun Wang he is the senior embryologist and laboratory manager, who is the first person to reply my email enquiry and followed up explaining all the procedures and treatments in details to me. I appreciate his hard working as when I have any concerns he always reply my email at first time even he was off work or on weekend! Now we have three embryos ready to transfer so hopefully everything will go smoothly in the following treatment.

I highly recommend the LWC. We did 2 rounds of IVF with the LWC at Harley Street. The first one wasn't successful, while the second one was. We had a good experience with the clinic. The doctors are thorough, reception and nurses are helpful, friendly and supportive, the counselling team has been very helpful to deal with the stress of the process and bad news. The connection of the LWC with the London Egg Bank has also made it easy for us to find an egg donor we liked, with help from the staff in both organisations. A couple of times, I felt that the team was too busy to answer my questions, but I did have a lot of detailed questions at every step! We are now expecting our little one in March, and are very grateful to the clinic for making it possible.

There is nothing particular positive to say about this clinic. You rarely see a doctor, most of the time nurses treat you. If you see or talk to a doctor it is never the same.

Please do not donate or purchase genetic material from here - The care for the donors is absolutely abismal. I donated three years ago and still no one will tell me if there has been a result. They forget that donors are real people and that our DNA actually means something to us. To them it's just a product that they pretty much manipulate out of you through lip service and smiles. How that all changes once they get what they want.

I am so grateful for how kind and open and understanding Maartje was when she was supporting me through the scans. The process is difficult but I still felt happy to see her each time. She gave me confidence not just to make it through the treatment but also to ask questions and say if I was not feeling ok about anything. I felt like I learned some really important things from how it felt to be treated with so much thoughtfulness and understanding. I was always taken seriously and given the time I needed. That has given me something I will take forward into life no matter what happens next. I also wanted to thank her and Mimi for supporting me when things felt really difficult, and encouraging me to see things in a different way to make them feel better. I can't tell you how much that made a difference. Thank you so much.

Terrible service. Paid lots of money for the 'ovulation tracking scan' for it to turn out to be just one scan. Nothing was explained on the phone when I was booking it and when I explained how misleading the information is on their website they agreed but never took the information down and did not do anything to try and resolve the situation. Terrible misleading service, will never go back.

I had one natural cycle of IUI at this clinic. The service here was awful: 1. Clinic does not open at weekends so if your cycle occurs then there is no chance to get pregnant! Oh sorry it opens till 12 on Saturday. still not ideal given that with IUI the time window is 8 hours so timing should be precise. 2. No clear treatment plan from the doctor. 3. Contradictory information from nurses. Some people who I communicated with were health care assistants and not even trained nurses. 4. I was inseminated a day early and the advice I got has contradicted everything I have read. 5. I was not given any advice on a trigger injection I had to ask for it. 6. The clinic do not give pros and cons for treatment options. It appears they want to make more money by pushing you down the ivf route. I have since moved to CRGH and have had much better treatment already. Do not use this clinic. If I could give 0 I would.

Awful experience - they literally lead us down the garden path with a treatment that was not suitable at all. Having transferred to another clinic who have given us clear statistics about our situation, we would never have pursued the route with London Women's Clinic that we did. Also, you have to have 5 failed treatments before seeing a doctor?! A pure money making scam - avoid at all costs. There are plenty of other clinics in London with better stats and better staff.

I would like to attribute my post to Dr Thomas Stavrakis at London Women's Clinic at Harley Street. I am 44 and single. After a painful loss of my first child & a divorce 4 years ago, I decided to have another child, this time on my own, not wanting to wait for a suitable partner to appear. My biological clock couldn't wait. My gynae in Singapore confirmed I am still in good state of fertility and I booked my next flight with the support of my dear elderly mother in May 2018. Before my trip I did extensive research. I was educated and grew up in London. Most of the renowned doctors worldwide are trained in the U.K. And Harley Street medical services are world class famous. I am very confident of what solutions & medical standards they could provide. Without hesitation, I booked myself a consulting session upon arrival in London and I saw Dr Balet & another consultant- Samantha on. PGS. I have not looked back since, I am proud to spread the good news around that choosing London Women's Clinic is my WISEST decision in my life. I was recommended a cycle of 3 IVF cycles which I did 2 under the angelic care of Dr Thomas. I was successful in both my first two attempts and I proceeded with ICSI & PGS in just 5 months! I resided in London during the treatments and I followed closely Dr Thomas' advise on rest & medication. In October 2018, Dr Thomas did my first & very own frozen embryo transfer and 2 weeks later he confirmed that I was pregnant positive. I flew back to Singapore to continue my pregnancy & rest. My gynae in Singapore was so impressed. She commented that it's a miracle I achieved such results for my age at first attempt!! I won't say my IVF journey was a bed of roses but I definitely won't have come so far without the professional help of Dr Thomas. I passed every blood test, every scan... His professionalism & care was immaculate; always responsive to emails when I had moments of anxiety (IVF was like a new science subject to me), he is always so patient to explain to me during the consultations my doubts & queries. His care towards his patients doesn't stop after my return to Singapore. He keeps regular contact with me on my pregnancy & baby's growth. My Family and I are very grateful to Dr Thomas & his team of nurses (Martin, Martha, Charlotte, Linda to name a few, I may not recall all the names but I will always remember the caring faces) for the attention I received during my 5 months stay. Ms Doville was lovely; she would welcome me at the reception each time with a huge smile. After I return to Singapore, I had a very tough first trimester largely caused by the effects of the hormones medication and I suffered pre-natal depression as I became very unwell. I even thought of terminating my pregnancy even but Dr Thomas gave me encouragement & support over emails and he asked me to persevere. I am now proudly 25 weeks pregnant. It's a healthy baby girl! I am looking forward to welcoming her very soon. I have had the most wonderful experience with London Women's Clinic at Harley Street, Dr Thomas and there is another Indian doctor who did my egg collection I can't recall his name but I will always remember his big smile. There are a lot of women and couples worldwide that find it hard to deal with fertility issues and finding the right treatments for themselves. Before I left London I told Dr Thomas that I am more than happy to share my good experience, I won't say I am now an expert but I have gone through enough to share. And I want to share and spread the good news. Infertility or (in my case I need help to get pregnant as I am) single motherhood is not a crime or anything to be ashamed of. Children are really a blessings and God's gift to mankind. Before you give up on having children, seek the best medical advise and treatment from professionals like Dr Thomas and established institutions like London Women's Clinic, so you don't regret in life later. I could have written more but I would have exceeded the maximum character limit. Eternally grateful to all of you. Eileen T

Womans london clinic (Kent) I can't recommend this clinic enough! They have literally been like a second family to me for the past 10 months. After 2 FETs we finally got our positive result. The support we have received from Cathy, Becky, Dr Boopathi and Lisa have been amazing and I couldn't thank them enough. IVF is such a magical yet emotional journey and I couldn't have done it without them and of course my Husband. I can remember being so nervous for our initial consultation but after speaking with Dr Boopathi we quickly relaxed and felt like we had this huge source of knowledge about what to expect and that was just after 1 appointment so you could imagine what it was like after a few months I now feel like an expert. We will definitely be coming back to this clinic to use our last snow babies we have in the freezer. Cathy and Becky have encouraged me to call them even through my pregnancy if I need to ask any questions and of course I already have done. So Thank you again so much for all your support and making me feel so comfortable around you all. Xx
