Came across this site through The Defence Discount Service who tend to only use respected companies BUT DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE!! Three big reasons why not to order... 1. Very over priced for what I received, poor quality 2. Item took way to long to be delivered 3. One of the items was not as ordered and looked terrible. UPDATE - As you can’t reply to company replies id like to state that my order took over 37 days to arrive from order AND I have already email several times!

I personally was very impressed with the service. I placed my order on the 31st of October, trying to avoid a Christmas rush. The order was dispatched on the 14th of November and I received it on the 23rd of November - bearing in mind this was to Ireland via royal mail during covid, I thought that it was relatively quick, especially considering all the negative reviews here. Very happy with the quality of the baubles, custom crackers and stockings I ordered.

Would not use this company again. Still not received my order which was placed over 3 weeks ago. Had a dispatch email confirming it would take 2-3 days to arrive and it still hasn't arrived yet. Impossible to get hold of anyone to speak to, end up having to leave a message which still no one responds to. So still in the situation where I have no idea where my order is or what is happening with it. The tracking number I was given doesn't even exist on royal mail so something seems to be very wrong!

Ordered personalised wrapping and crackers Wrapping took some time to arrive. Good quality but small sheets Christmas crackers looked good but the family edition were extremely disappointing for the price. One piece of fudge in one and one chocolate. I m happy to pay for handmade and personalised but this was a rip off . I felt embarrassed when only one chocolate appeared. Sorry won’t be buying again

Absolutely shocking customer service would not recommend this company at all. Still not received my items and they still do not wish to admit it and palm me off after waiting ages for call to be answered. Lady on the phone has no empathy and continues to show no responsibility in resolving the issue. Doesn’t help there is only one person to answer all there calls which is not going to work well. Really gutted as we were looking forward to items which looks like we won’t receive them now even though ordered well in advance of Xmas.

Absolutely disgusting service. I placed an order on the 23rd November. It’s now the 16th December and it’s still not arrived. It was apparently dispatched on the 7th December but the tracking number isn’t even valid on the Royal Mail tracking website!! No response to my email that was sent over a week ago and cannot get through to them via phone!! This needs sorting ASAP DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Placed order # 209167 on 11/24/19. Sent 2 emails last December asking for an update. Received a reply on 9/3/2020 apologizing for the delay and asked if I still wanted my order. Replied the same day and told them we still wanted and reconfirmed my address. Sent 2 follow emails and still waiting for my order. Not sure what to say at this point.

A really disappointing experience shopping with this company so far. I fully understand the strain on independent companies at the moment, and the issues with Royal Mail. However, communication has been poor. After purchasing four items on the 1st December, I still don't have any accurate dispatch information and am unsure if the items will be -delivered pre-Christmas. When looking for the items on the "Track Order", I am unable to find it. Finally, I am getting no answer from the customer service helpline for the last hour. Emma - thanks for getting in touch. Disappointed with this company and service. I ordered the personalise christmas box on November 21st and Not on the high street advised the seller would confirm the order once accepted but said it should be delivered by December 2nd. Although Notonthehighstreet said the seller (Handmaid Christmas Co) had accepted the order, I didn't receive confirmation from the company that it had been received as per NOTHS's advice. Although payment was taken, the delivery date passed and I was non the wiser. I emailed and was told there was a delay, it was being personalised and it would be dispatched that week. A week later still nothing, so I emailed again and Mark said 'Very sorry for the delay once again. I'm not sure why your order has not been dispatched yet, but I have passed this over to be remade and sent out within the next couple of days'. It's bizarre that an item that was already being personalised on the 7th Dec was to be sent to be remade again a week later. I've emailed twice more asking how I go about a refund and have no response. I could have ordered a Christmas eve box which was intended as a present for a child and their first Christmas, from another company. I'm still waiting for a response. This has taken over a month. EDIT - Emma, who makes the product? NOTHS or The handmaid christmas Co?

If I could I would give them 0 stars. Stay away from a company that promises you your order for nearly 3 weeks but never actually sends it. Ruined what was meant to be a lovely Christmas shopping experience. I’ve spent a lot of time on the phone with them even sent emails without any response but they just don’t care about their customers. Sad really.

I ordered 5 Initial stockings on 11/7/2019 using a Groupon certificate. I paid for the shipping separately and through the actual Handmade Christmas Website. I received a confirmation email with a tracking number. It is now 12/4/2019 and I have yet to receive my items. I have emailed 3 times and not received any correspondence from anyone. I also called and never got through. When I use my confirmation number to track the order, nothing appears. I would not suggest using this company EVER.

I placed my order at the beginning of October, admittedly I did have to wait a little longer than I expected and the communication was lacking at times but the products are extremely good quality so my faith was restored when my order arrived. I don’t think people will mind waiting a little longer than planned if there was a bit more communication. That being said, based on the products I received I will not be put off buying again, just need to make sure there is extra time allowed just in case of any delays.

Having read others reviews it seems this company are consistently bad at keeping to timeframes, which, at this time of year I understand may need to be stretched. What I fail to understand is the lack of correspondence to notify customers of delays. You are not accepting phone calls, nor responding to emails. If I could rate them zero I would! Absolutely awful Company and Customer Service. Having read the other reviews it seems I may have been a ‘luckier’ one. Placed an order in November for delivery on 29/11/19. After numerous emails and phone calls, I finally got a response to say the item was being dispatched on the 14/12/19. The order arrived just before Christmas, less one item, that they happily took the payment for. I have tried calling and have just been greeted by a voicemail message and ALL emails have gone unanswered. Needless to say they have taken my money but not fulfilled my order. Clearly shouldn’t be operating a Christmas business if they can’t manage the Christmas orders! I will now be seeking a refund through my credit card company for the money they have taken from me. Hope everyone else who’s had a payment taken and received no goods does the same! Also seeing that this company is posting fake Trust Pilot reviews claiming a score of 9.8 out of 10?????? Watchdog or Trading Standards needs to look at these! UPDATE: Strange how a review can be answered but not emails. Anyway I’ve now been promised a refund and a response to my numerous emails after my review has been published and read. I’ll update again if the refund is received. UPDATE #2: So as a result of posting this review I finally received a response from the Company and my refund. It’s such a shame that it takes something like this to be done before the Company will respond to you. Having previously purchased from this company I expected better and yes whilst the quality of the items has been very good, their service and communication with Customers (the people that keep them going) is appalling....IMO show a little remorse to all the Customers you have let down over Christmas instead of trying to defend yourselves with the responses you are writing to these reviews. I hope everyone who has paid money to this company and not received their goods manages to get it back. People should take a look at these reviews before thinking about purchasing from this company. I won’t be buying from these again nor recommending them.

This seems to be the only way to get hold of this company so praying this works. I ordered at the end of November with order # 269211 and have not received my order. When tracking it just says in production. I get no replies to emails although I did call last week and did speak to a nice man who said it would be with me mid this week but still nothing and you cannot speak to anyone when you call now! So sad as desperately wanted them for the kids on Christmas Eve.

Like many others I too placed an order in November which I am still waiting to receive. I have tried contacting the company but they are not answering their phone and they are not replying to my emails. I ordered 2 stockings a few years back for my grandchildren and placed an order this year as I have another 2 grandchildren. I am doubtful that my latest 2 grandchildren are going to have their stockings by Christmas as if they don’t arrive by Wednesday it will be too late as I need them to take when we visit. This is a complete joke and wish I could give zero stars.

Ordered on 25/11/19, expected delivery on 2/12/19, but as of today 22/12/19, my order 251014 is still showing as 'in production'. I waited 10 working days before trying to make contact, but for the past week have been unable to get any response. This is a huge shame as I ordered from them last year and the product was excellent.

Some of the items were Christmas presents :( Last year I didn’t have any problems, really sad that they can’t deal with the orders anymore. Would have been fine if they had just informed me and returned my money!

DOES THE HANDMADE CHRISTMAS COMPANY EVEN REALLY EXIST??????? This company took my money at the very beginning of December. Like many other concerned customers, desperately waiting for their orders. My daughter even posted on here near to Christmas as it seemed it was the only way of getting a response from them. She asked for information about our order and if we were ever going to receive it before Christmas. A reply was given almost immediately which we were pleased to see. They told us our parcel would be sent by express special delivery as we live in Spain and our order would be with us on the Monday before Christmas the 23rd. I was concerned but still living in hope. We were told we’d receive a confirmation email with a delivery number so we could track it and once we’d received it could we take down the post or change it to a better one. Wow yes I felt like something positive was going to happen. Like many others angry, upset and disappointed customers no confirmation e mail, no delivery and after endless emails no replies. We are now on the 9th February 2020 and still nothing!!!! No email!!! No apology!!!! No delivery!!!!! No refund!!!!!! This an absolute disgrace. I hate to publicly post an angry comment, but this needs to be said. They have taken my money and I have nothing to show for it!!!!!!!! My order was and still is 270469. I don’t want excuses and I don’t want a Christmas order in February!!!!!! Thats if this company is still up and running!!!!! I WANT MY MONEY REFUNDED!!!! Good luck everyone else trying to resolve their issues with this disgracefully, unprofessional company!!!!!!!

I would not recommend using this company at all. I placed an order on the 4th of November and it hasn't been shipped. I have sent multiple emails regarding my order with no response (except the first response which said my order would be shipped 22 November. - I have updated my review as the order was now dispatched. Will update it to 4 stars if it arrives in time for Christmas. I do however feel the customer service was definitely lacking. One should not resort to a public review for an order to be completed.

Placed my order on 5th December, (#291605) and coincidentally the cheapest of all 4 items has been delivered and nothing else. Emailed twice and awaiting a response. Its the eve of Xmas Eve and the gifts were to be given to relatives tomorrow. Would not recommend - first and last time i will use this website.

Don't bother buying from here. They will charge you an extortionate fee for shipping, then not ship the package on time, then they will close down their phone lines because 'all their staff are too busy packing to answer the phone' It's really pathetic considering they are a Christmas company.

I placed an order 15th November, delivery time frame 21st November. Left it a few days after this date to give them time, still nothing. Emailed about 4 times beginning of December had no response within the 48 hours, emailed again which this time I did receive a response saying they will be shipped in a few days. Few days passed stilled no email saying they had been shipped. Rang and managed to get through this Monday (9th December) the person on the other side said one Sack had been completed that day and the other sack is being down the next day and will be shipped out once completed. We are now 4 days in from them being apparently completed and still no email about them being shipped. Yet again emailed and cant a response from the phone number. I understand it is a busy time of time but update your website and state longer time frames and definitely don't lie about an order nearly completed and due to be posted when it clearly has not been done. I have a feeling this will not be here for Christmas and am also worried I have sent money on items that will never be received or if they are will be pointless as will be passed Christmas. Order number 214604 Still no response since updating my original review. Once again terrible customer service.

Similar experience to other customers. Order not received, no replies to multiple emails over the last month and phone calls not answered. Disgraceful customer service. Gave them the benefit of the doubt at first when it didn’t arrive and I was advised by a surly woman on the phone ( the only time I have been able to get through to them) that she would ensure it was dispatched the next day. Nothing arrived after a week and I have been unable to contact them by email or phone since. As they have taken my money and not sent me my products or been contactable, ignoring multiple emails and not answering phone calls, I will report to trading standards. I have not used a coupon or a groupon but ordered directly. If they are such a small company they should hire more staff or not overstretch themselves with cut price offers they cannot produce. To add insult to injury they spam me nearly daily about their offers and products. Furious.

Having placed an order for around £50 on 7th October 2019, we are now at 29th November and I am still waiting. 7 to 10 days for dispatch it said, after 4 weeks I received part of the order, now at 7 weeks I am still waiting for the rest. Initially when I contacted YOU, I received responses. There was a delay, it would be sent the following week. I continued to chase for updates, which isn't down to me to do, you should keep customers informed. Now you are ignoring boring my emails. I commented on social media and was told all orders for October had been dispatched, they checked and then told me that my paper was being reprinted. Everyday I get emails about special offers and promotions, yet you can't fulfill the orders you already have. And now silence. Again. I will continue to comment on every post on every platform that I can until this is resolved. Either refund my money or send me my order, it's that simple. Otherwise I will take legal advice.

I made an order on the 1st December expecting it within 10 days. (Didn't receive a thing) So I waited a little longer before trying to call (no luck) so I sent an email and also wanted to order more. I ordered in November and luckily my order did finally arrive on Christmas eve. I believe they tried to do everything they could to get people's orders ready in time, I had a response to an email at 1030pm one night. However some Facebook, Instagram and emails weren't replied to which was stressful and they turned the phone line to answer phone so they could concentrate on fulfilling orders rather than talk to angry customers. Makes sense but still stressful. I am happy with the items I received. Maybe best to order for Christmas in the summer!

However I’ve had no responses to emails or calls. The only response was to this rating with no details given on how to further my contact. I’m going for three stars as my experience with Handmade in previous years has been great. Order placed and delivered with no issues at all. However, this year it’s been terrible. I placed an order during the Black Friday sales and to date there has been no update on the order. The estimated dispatch was 6 December, it is now 18 December and I have not heard from them. It would appear that they launched a Groupon promotion to boost sales and this has them swamped with more orders than they can fulfil in time for Christmas. It is a shame that the desire to boost sales may very well lead to the end of energy company altogether. Very disappointed with this company. Placed an order on 24/11/19 and still not had confirmation that my order has been dispatched. Tried ringing on a numerous of occasions and have sent emails, but no reply's. If my order arrives i will increase my star rating. If not i'll be contacting trading standards. I understand you are probably busy at this time of year, but if there is a delay with orders you should inform your customers. My order number is #246430.

Still waiting for a Christmas Sack ! ordered the sack and some Dog Wooden Decoration in November, the Wooden bits arrived 24Dec and to date no sack ! nor a refund, customer service very poor and no refund yet for the sack. No doubt these bandits will appear again next Christmas !
