I love timberland. Mostly because I get %10 discount with my NUS card, but also because of their drive to use sustainable materials.
The range of products is quite scarce in this Timberland store overall, but they do have a large footwear section, with 40 percent off right now.

Am a lover of quality I will buy something that's expensive once I know it will last.. And no matter how expensive timberlands are you can't beat quality... And remember anytime you go to the till always ask the staff if there's any discount.. That's what I did and got £24 off the price but if you don't ask they won't tell you.. So open your mouth and ask you can't be shy when it comes to saving a penny.

I am not knocking the quality of this brand as my family have been wearing Timberland for years. But the service we received from a member of staff yesterday was disappointing. We arrived at the shop as a family myself my partner and 2 children (one being a baby). My partner wanted to buy some boots so asked the assistant if he could try on two styles of boot. The assistant said that he can only give my partner one pair at a time, when my partner asked why he said it's because they are short staffed. So the assistant went to get one of the requested pairs to try on. I turned to the seating/fitting area and to my surprise there was a lady sitting trying on boots and there were at least five boxes of boots around her. After my partner had tried on about 3 pairs the baby was starting to moan so I left the shop. After about 20 mins my partner finally found a pair of boots that fit my partner then had to ask to try on the other boot. He purchased the boots. This purchase could have happened at a faster pace if the assistant didn't insist on bring my partner one pair at a time. May I ask does this rule only apply to people of colour?

I selected a pair of shoes in this shop today. They had my size on display. However when I went to buy them they refused to sell this pair to me saying I had to order them on line and come back to the shop in a few days to collect. This is ridiculous. If the shoes are not for sale then don't put them on display! I'm only in this area today so calling beck to the shop is not an option. I checked online. The shoes are not available in my size!!

In a busy shopping centre, Timberland was a bit of an oasis, with genuine discounts on normal products (ie no special discounts on special season products). The layout of the store was good too with plenty of space to move around and no filling with extra shelves. A good experience, with good sales...

The products are great, but the exchange policy is illegitimate and likely fraudulent - they sell products at very different qualities and won’t accept for exchange/refund.
- Don’t accept if there are ANY scratches, even if they use their product in store to help get rid of them, it doesn’t work well enough and they won’t accept it back
- Don’t accept if there are ANY creases, which most of their shoes seem to. Again they won’t accept it back, it’s not worth the risk
- Examine the bottom of the shoes, they sell dirty shoes that they won’t take back. Not all of them are like that, but some are.

Timberland often produce good quality clothing items, shoes and accessories. This store is located inside the Stratford Westfield Shopping center (street level). It used to be located outside of the mall. I don't often shop at Timberland but I do recommend them specifically when they are having sales, it is only then that their prices are somewhat reasonable. In general, I do think they are somewhat overpriced for what they are offering. But I guess you're paying for the brand here.

Horrible shop, bought shoes there for 120 pounds, took 2 hours and received bloody calluses, came to return the goods, the sellers frowned on me and refused to give money or change for other shoes

I wanted to purchase 3 timberlands but unfortunately it was out of stock. I was served by a lady with short hair and reading glasses . This has been the first time I have ever experienced great customer service . Not even great but excellent . She was incredibly polite. Not just to me but every customer. She was smiling the whole time . When she informed me that the shoes were out of stock , she was very apologetic . Timberland , Stratford are incredibly lucky to have an employee like her. Seriously she was amazing!

I asked one of the assistants if they had a number 6 insoles for boots, he laughed at my face saying they don't have such small sized things. It is unacceptable to laugh at people's needs.
