We implemented Prospect at a point where the company grew beyond the capacity to manually track our leads and quotes. Prior to installing Prospect we couldn't track monitor and follow up on quote status and a practical manner. A lot fell through the cracks.
Prospect delivers great analytics we couldn't do before. Time since last order, conversion rates, customer productivity and potential etc.
Unexpected bonus and time-saver: We can calculate the weight of an order which is critical for preparing a shipping quote. Hadn't even considered this when we purchased the software. Simple yet impactful.
The Prospect team are accessible and knowledgeable and exceedingly patient with our many questions. We speak directly with them and the same group of people all the time. They know us and our business.
We're a building product manufacturer. They demonstrated right off they understood our industry and the software is well-designed for manufacturing and the construction sector.

I have been using ProspectSoft for a relatively short period. However I find the system very easy to navigate and very easy to understand the futures. I find the RFM analysis, very useful, organises your customers by many segments, so very easy to find the customers that I should prioritise attention, to check the loyal and best ones. A great tool when creating sales and marketing campaign as well.

We have found Prospect to be more than we expected - with many features we didn't know would be so useful and beneficial. Integration is seamless, smooth and runs silently in the background. This has the potential to be a useful piece of software but seem to have lost focus in recent months. In an attempt to do everything for everyone, the need for robust, fundamental basics have been neglected. An example of this is the quote or order creating process, with unnecessary pop ups (which we have never used, and just ignore and click 'create'), the inability to search for a sales ledger by company name (can only search by code), the inability to sync customer type with Unleashed, and the overwhelming number of customisable fields. The failure to master these basics makes the AI reports, e.g. RFM analysis, less useful, since the ability to manipulate this data depends on having the basics covered. For us, the software seems more geared to a company with a slower process from initial contact with the customer to completing a sale. In our case, this process can go from start to finish in one phone call. We have also noticed that the company has grown in recent months, which has diluted the ability to deal with our issues in a coordinated way. For example, one recent problem involved contact with at least 3 different people, passing the issue from one to the other. It is good to be asked to make suggestions in the 'ideas' forum, but not appropriate if these ideas are fundamental basics. If your car has brakes that don't work, and the response of the car manufacturer is 'that's a good idea to fix the brakes, why don't you suggest it in the ideas forum and see how many members vote for it', it would not be considered an appropriate response!

The staff are extremely friendly, competent and fast to answer questions. Our issue is with the software itself, having used it alongside Unleashed. We previously only used Unleashed. It is highly customisable but, having evaluated its impact over 12 months, have found that many tasks now take more time. Examples of this include waiting for quotes to be confirmed, mismatches of our inventory between Unleashed and Prospect (changes to product codes in Unleashed result in duplicated in Prospect), fields in Prospect not matching through to fields in Unleashed, the inability to download quotes as PDF's (we now have to download as Word document, then convert to PDF outside the CRM), e-mails from CRM marked as spam or taking variable amounts of time to send. It just feels a bit 'clunky'. Many of the features are great, but we don't actually need. Managing products involves downloading an overpowering Excel spreadsheet with many acronyms and codes which we don't understand. It was only ever our intention to sign up for a year, but we seem to have rolled over to the second year and are now locked in.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working at ProspectSoft for over 12 years now, having started as a placement student from university and working my way up to become the Development Director.
The company has the best undergraduate placement scheme in the country having won more awards that any other, with nurturing our next generation employees at the heart of the business.
We have regular lunchtime training sessions with pizza on the company every three to four weeks and is generally focused on the recent product updates. We also provide a host of other training sessions and benefits too.
The annual company outings are great fun with the vast majority of the company coming along and joining in the activities.

I started at ProspectSoft Ltd over 12 years ago now in our Support department as a placement student. At the time there were only about 20 of us working here. At the end of my placement year I got asked to come back into the Projects Team and have enjoyed every minute of it.
Since coming back we have gone from strength to strength and grown to over 50 employees now, largely thanks to our undergraduate placement scheme which has been recognised with many awards.
Throughout the year our Social committee arrange many varing outings including meals, crazy golf and one of my favourites a murder mystery evening.
