Great for university students or anyone that has a flexible work schedule. The team are very understanding and helpful however due to popularity, finding jobs is hard as they cover first come, first serve basis. So it is not very consistent.

Whilst I was working for Catapult they were able to give me descent shifts however my positive experience was short lived. Unfortunately the negatives outweighed the positives. As I have attempted multiple times to return to Catapult and work for the agency and every time I was shut down after I ask for my account to be re-activated. I made multiple pleas and consistently get rejected. Even though I made mistakes and it was my fault that my account was deactivated (I take full responsibility) it's not fair that the agency are unwilling to give second chances to people like me who have had 3 strikes on their account. I even tried to re-apply to Catapult but this was not possible as it shows in their records that I have applied before. I find their strike policy too harsh and their unwillingness to give people a second opportunity is dissappointing to say the least. The fact that one can not prove to them that they are willing to change and not make the same mistakes and show them the second time around that they are reliable is a deflating feeling. Going forward they could treat people who have had 3 strikes on their account nicer and could be more understanding in regards to unfortunate circumstances. They could also be more lenient with their strike policy as I am sure not everyone will take it for granted. No other agency I've worked with is this harsh! Very dissappointed!

They don’t really have their foot through the door in the events industry. 75% of their shifts are Kitchen Porter/Bar back jobs. The rates seem good because of the 12.37% inflation (holiday pay). Most shifts work out to be less than £8 an hour. Oh and it doesn’t matter how much experience you actually have. You might get the better shifts but the rates are the same for everyone. This brings me to ask why was the pre-registration questionnaire so thorough? I have 3 years industry experience and I found out it didn’t really matter. They will hire pretty much anyone.. which is good in a way because the clients really appreciate when they, by chance, get someone that does a good job. The one star is for the tech team, the app is great and easy to use.

While the nature of temp work means that misunderstandings will sometimes occur, I have nothing but praise for the hardworking and friendly team at Catapult who have been helpful and courteous to a person. I have been on the books for a little over a month, and have worked for some excellent companies, all of whom have very much appreciated the service that Catapult provides, and plan to continue sourcing temp staff this way. Although still being fairly new, it is clear to me why the team really believes that this streamlined and intuitive process is the future of temp work in London. If you sometimes need temp staff for your business, I highly recommend that you give it a go!

Very Unprofessional will always give client priority over Catapult users. I arrived at a shift only to be turned away by the venue then I called Catapult helpline to confirm this cancellation where I was affirmed that yes it has been cancelled and I will be paid the cancellation amount and after a week I get an email that I never arrived at the venue. That was it!! Reply: it was never rectified I didn’t get paid for the shift and I spent money on travel. I left the platform after this.

I have had some bad experiences with other agencies in the past, but Catapult have been incredible! I would recommend them to anyone looking for temporary work, but opportunities for full-time work can also come up. As a Masters student, I needed something with flexibility and this absolutely gives me as much flexibility as I need. The team are also fantastic, and every time speak with any of them I feel like an important and valued member of the team. There's no elitism like I've found in other agencies. Joining Catapult has been one of the best decisions I have made in London - I wanted to experience all the different facets of London whilst here, and the opportunities that arise from Catapult has allowed me to experience some truly unique events I wouldn't have had the chance to otherwise, as well as keeping me financially stable whilst here. Honestly so thankful that I discovered this agency - join join join!

The place to be if you look for flexible part-time work. Work the way you want with Catapult. Great start-up with friendly and motivated staff.

NOT fair employment. As every other agency that has big clients to satisfy Catapult will compromise with the candidate's experience. And if anything is not right, you'll get "we're sorry for that" and that's it. Also working amongst other agencies' employees you'll realise you're the lowest paid one because of a weird way that they suggest hourly rates to the employers. Who would work for an agency that pays minimum rate?!

Catapult is the simply best thing that's ever happen to me. I get to work around at different beautiful 5 star hotels all over London. And on top of all I also earn qualifications to get me going higher in life through both work experience and courses that they offer. I would seriously recommend Catapult to anyone looking for work in Hospitality. Thank you Catapult ❤????????!!!! P.S. don't listen to people giving Catspilt poor ratings. Because to my experience with them it is the complete opposite. You get hundreds of jobs to choose from yourself both where and when you want to work. Obviously not every job they have will be everyone's cup of tea but that's not them to blame really, is it? I can never complain because I'm grateful that my account is flooding with money and that I get to pay for the little things in life that we enjoy. Enjoy!

Great agency to work for; the training day was a bit long but informative for sure, they made sure we knew all the details about working with them e.g. cancellations and uniform standards which is important as people can be confused. The training was basic but essential of course, since people need to be at some skill level regarding serving food and clearing up, and means people do everything the same way during shifts. Have read reviews of some people saying it was "8 hours long", when for me it was 11am-3pm with a lunch break! Only thing would be that maybe the training should only take place if the candidate is successful otherwise it can be a waste of time! Aziz

I would strongly advise not to use this agency. I booked staff with them for one of our busy days. No one showed up I wasn't informed until 5mins after no one showed up giving me no time to make alternative arrangements. AVOID

Really poor experience. The price advertised was far more than the price I paid in the end as they take huge administration fees, Also at the last minute they advised that it was a 4 hours minimum shift while there was nothing about this on their website. The idea is great but it is really badly managed and lots of bad surprises along the way.

In 5 years of running our restaurant I have never opted for agency cover for any of our services since, unless you have a very regular working relationship with an agency, you are unlikely to have confidence in the quality of candidates they might send on any given day. The clear difference with Catapult is the ability to see the candidate "face-to-face" via the video clip they record as part of their joining process. This gives you a far better impression of the person that you are going to offer your shift to, and confidence that they will work well with your team. The combination of this and the online management and timesheet functionality of Catapult's website gives you control while keeping the overall process very smooth. It is rare that you won't find a candidate if you give more than around 18 hours notice, and if you are struggling then the proactivity in evidence from the team at the agency to pursue other potential options on your behalf gives a high level of reassurance. I would happily recommend Catapult to others and expect them to continue to be successful based on the efforts they are making to support and develop with their customers so far.

Applied for this agency in december I've tried a few shifts and was alright Also received a bonus of 20£ for working on same day as was urgent and they did run out of staff (yeah some vacancies offer a bonus) After applying for a shift they usually contact u by phone to confirm it But watch out as if u don't show up they send u a strike and after 3 of them u are out Also u can see the distance of the workplace from home once u r registered Is a good app that works and doesnt get stacked like others, even now I receive job offers almost every day Well they don't offer great rates anymore as in December but still higher than other agencies

Absolutely worst experience with this agency. Only got 3 jobs and they underpaid me and many of my colleagues, and took weeks to respond to our e-mails. Avoid them at all costs. The app also constantly doesn't load and they ask you to record a video to boost your chances of getting work but never even load it onto your profile. Disgusting company.

Very unprofessional. After going all the way to North London I was told to stay there for 5 hours!! Before going to the "assessment" I informed Catapult (through the application form) that I would rather work in retail and stadiums/events rather than restaurants and waiting. To my surprise they did not mention anything on retail in the assesment but taught me how to pour wine, set a table and hold some plates (the exact opposite of what i asked for). After going through this tiring process, I (along with a few others) came home to an email saying that I was not "the right fit for this role". I requested feedback on why I was not accepted and all they could say was that due to there being "a lot of people" appling they "are unable to give inividual feedback" (even though they took notes on me).

STAY AWAY!!!!! One of the unprofessional, worst and time waisting agencies I have ever been to, no HR strategy rather they asked me to come for an interview/assessment day. Just guess for how many hours??? 8 hours CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE. It wasn't even an interview it was more of a training. On that day I learnt: 1- how to pour wine 2-how to serve food 3-how to hold plates and alot other activities At the end of the so called interview which was really long I was told by the shifts scheduler upstairs that she was gonna book me for shifts for the upcoming week, and get this {she asked me for my availability}. Literally I get home tired and after paying alot of money for TFL I get this email "Unfortunately, you are not the right fit for us" Honestly, you read this review how did that make you feel ???? Imagine they done the same to around 10 applicants on the same day. My advice look up other agencies as I am working for two professional with a proper interview no more than 2 hrs.
