Royal was our technician and he was awesome! We had used a different company to repair a small leak (this was a mistake) which resulted in getting a very expensive estimate for a lot of crazy things. We called Whipple in a panic for a second opinion and they sent Royal over. He was very knowledgeable with the equipment we had, he ran us through the tests for the water heater, water pressure valve, etc. insuring is that we did not have faulty equipment, and recommended a few small replacements to help our system to last. We are very happy we got a second opinion and will only use Whipple Plumbing from here on out!

I use them annually for maintenance and service. Always excellent and well priced. Today we added a fix to a leaky shower faucet. The tech, Truitt, was on time, friendly, quick and fixed my issue to my satisfaction and relief. Great service on the phone and in person. Would highly recommend!

Giving this a 3-star because the service tech was respectful and kind, and their response was reasonably fast, but everything else was "meh". We called Whipple a few days ago to get a bid on replacing our kitchen sink that has cracked. They set up an appointment for today and led us to believe it would be a free, no obligation estimate. The tech arrived on time and was respectful. He spent about 15 minutes looking at the sink and listening to us. We asked him what options would look like if Whipple fixed it with parts we supplied compared to parts supplied by Whipple. He then spent about 20 mins preparing bids on his iPad. I wasn’t thrilled with the ~$700 labor fee to install the sink, plus ~$250 to install the faucet - feels a bit steep to me but not a deal-breaker. Something unexpected was that all the bids included a full replacement of the disposal, which we didn’t ask for. In addition there was some pressure for us to sign up for an annual membership so we could get a 5% discount on parts and 15% on labor for $20/mo. Nope, we just need a new sink. Not wanting to decide on the spot, I asked if he would email us the bids and give us some time to review and we’d make a decision. He said no problem, and then asked if he could do a full plumbing inspection and make sure everything looked good. A little confused by this offer, I stopped him before any kind of service or inspection could start and asked if there was a fee associated with this estimate. He also looked surprised and said yes it’s $44, and that the inspection is standard. We told him what the Whipple scheduler had said about a free, no obligation estimate. He then sighed, appearing a little dejected, and zeroed out an agreement on his iPad, asked us to sign it, and left. Needless to say, we felt super awkward. I hope this isn’t how Whipple does business; by offering a free estimate, then following up with a sales-pitch-turned-service-call hoping we wouldn’t notice or speak up. Don’t think we’ll be calling them back.

My husband Installed a ventless gas fireplace and had never done that before so we wanted to make sure Everything was done correct and safe. So we had Whipple come out and inspect. They were on time, very professional and helpful! I highly recommend them.

My toilet broke on a Saturday. I called Whipple to see if they could help me. They told me they would call me back the next Monday. I didn’t hear back from them, so I called late Monday and they didn’t have any of my information saved from the previous Saturday when I called. I set up and appointment for the upcoming Thursday. I got plenty of reminder texts and emails about my appointment, but on Thursday they tried to cancel on me, twice. I had to beg with the scheduler to come fix my toilet both time during the time I scheduled. The scheduling process was not pleasant. Finally, Frank arrived and was as pleasant as the scheduling was unpleasant. He was professional and courteous. He helped me get what I needed and was flawless and efficient installing my new toilet. Frank was awesome. Scheduling was not easy. Great deal and Frank made it worth the scheduling hassle.

Two furnaces installed December 2019. Had to call next day because of install errors that prevented furnaces from coming on...it's December! Recently had humidifiers checked because operation was following protocols. Four attempts were made to schedule and appt. First was snowed out. Second was cancelled by Whipple for weather reasons notwithstanding that both my wife and I had been out driving that morning with no difficulty. Third appt was cancelled by me after waiting until 14:30 pm for a morning appointment. Fourth appt was filled by a tech who could not address humidifier issues though these concerns had been explained in detail to the service reps. On fifth appt, finally got a competent tech who informed me that the humidifiers were not installed properly...needed a separate transformer that needed to be sourced necessitating yet another appt. Get some service vehicles that can operate in the mountains in Winter...you had no problem getting here for the $20K furnace install and did not tell me that you can only service Park City (after install) during the summer. Sorry to say that my experience with Whipple thus far has been very disappointing after spending >$20K with them. Their Club membership (@$25/mo) has also been disappointing.

Arranged to have a Furnace tune-up, clean, make sure it works properly, etc. The techs were on time, followed all covid-19 precautions, the one doing most of the work was in training, which was fine. Didn't need to turn the heat on , so assumed it would be fine. They did say it needed some work, a new blower motor, and a blower capacitor. The next morning, turned the heat on, and NOTHING happened! Of course the tune-up special was only $44 so I guess I got what I paid for. Decided that a second opinion was in order, so contacted a different company, the tech arrived within a couple hours, cleaned a bunch of fuzz/dirt etc from the furnace, replaced the fuse that was the wrong amp and plugged the wires in that hadn't been replaced. He said the furnace was in good shape, didn't look to him like anything needed replacing, just needed a couple items dealt with. I hadn't told him what the previous company had said, so there would be no bias. I know now what company I will call in the future. Their price was a bit more expensive, but it now works just fine so worth it to me.

Short version: took a couple tries but got it right. Good over the phone. Details below. Had some issues with my Rannai hot water heater that my insurance company installed less than 2 years ago. Frustrating. Called whipple and they came out a couple months ago and flushed the system and replaced a valve in the house. Thought it would fix the problem but it resurfaced not long after they drove away. Fast forward to today (Feb2021) amd the reason for the 5 star review. Spoke with Whipple over the phone and explained situation and frustration. They dispatched Ken K. to diagnose the problem for no additional fee. Ken worked the phone with the water heater manufacturer and ordered the correct part and returned about a week later and worked the problem until it was actually fixed. Then he charged me what they quoted me when he first came out instead of inflating the charge for his extra time. It wasn't cheap between the 3 visits but Ken made the difference by actually getting to root of the problem.

We had Truitt and Heath install a new high efficiency boiler system in our home. They were absolutely amazing at arranging the equipment so it takes less room than the old system, and looks much more tidy and organized. If you need replacement or repair on a boiler system, these are your guys. They know boilers inside and out, and take the time to explain the system and give future maintenance suggestions. We honestly couldn’t be more pleased!

Excellent customer service! The technician texts and emails you to know they are on their way, so you're not waiting around all day. They also send a photo and info about the technician coming over. Practiced Covid 19 protocol. We scheduled a water heater flush and a bid for a tankless water heater. We ended up getting the tankless water heater installed that very day! Very professional and informative. Answered all my questions and very friendly technicians. Highly recommended! Loving my tankless water heater!

The technicians were super nice. Very professional and clean. The reason for my 3 star review is because after my purchase I had to contact them for follow up work that needed to be completed. And then two months after my purchase I had to call them to ask for my documents. They told me i didn't have a valid email address on file. I would have thought after spending 12k for new furnace and AC unit they would have placed a courtesy call to find out how satisfied I was. I'm happy with the actual units and installation but sort of expected a bit more in the customer service area.

I had a broken shower faucet that required a quick response and Whipple definitely delivered. They were very professional, had the equipment that was necessary to fix the problem and they were done in about a half an hour. The technician (Brian) did an excellent job of explaining the costs and how the process would work. I have used them for years and will continue to use them going forward. I highly recommend Whipple.

RJ was our service technician. He assessed everything that needed to be done. He had to replace a broken toilet supply valve for one toilet and re-seat another toilet that had been leaking from the base. He presented several options. The one I chose us allowed us to get a new toilet for $53 more. Whipple is great from the initial phone call, to scheduling, on-time arrival, completion of work, and all of it done for a fair price. Thanks Whipple for delivering on exceptional customer service every time!

I called Friday night and midday Saturday (the next day) they came out ready and equipped to fix whatever was wrong with my AC. He fixed it and taught us what we needed to do to help lengthen the life of our unit. It was awesome and now my house is no longer 86 degrees at all hours of the night not to mention how hot it was during the day recently. Excellent work! Todd was very responsive and suggested multiple options to address our concerns. He explained in detail about the work involved with each and their associated costs. He also warned about parts availability and possible delays in the project. He then went headlong into our chosen option and delivered quality work and very attentive to details.
