Brian was great. Super knowledgeable and professional. Whipple gave us a speedy quote time and showed up pretty close to that. The whole experience was good, considering that we had a burst pipe in our garage that was flooding the whole garage and back yard. Brian had to come back the next morning because of our ancient plumbing pipes, and he was here bright and early. I felt like Whipple made us a priority. Thank you for that. Couldn't have asked for better.

Called whipple about a furnace not running. First they told me it needed to just be replaced because it was close to 15 years old. Then the tech guessed on a bad part and replaced it . Furnace turned on but didn’t run long before stopping again. Called another company and the tech immediately knew what was wrong. Fixed it and it runs fine today. On top of that I signed up for a $20 per month maintenance deal that I was told I could cancel anytime. Turns out it was a year contract. I’ll never deal with this company again.

Very friendly service, very punctual. I was actually extremely impressed with the entire process of working with Whipple up until the quote. I wanted to get 240v outlet installed in my garage, and the electrical box was 2 feet away from where we wanted the outlet. Our previous quote was $450 but they were a few weeks out so we wanted to see if we could get it done sooner. Whipples quote was $1250!! It actually made me laugh out loud when I heard the quote. I'm not sure if their electricians are based on commission and they can just make up whatever prices they want, but THEY DO NOT HAVE HONEST EMPLOYEES OR PRICES. **Remember to ALWAYS get multiple quotes **

Service was wonderful. Our old water heater was leaking. The serviceman had a new one on his truck and installed it. He was very good with my 86 year old mom. And explained everything that he was doing.

Tech was professional and friendly. Did a great job. I was disappointed to learn that cleaning of the inner coils was not included in the routine maintenance. Would have had to spend a couple hundred dollars extra for that service. The tech had to explain this to me after the person at customer service said that it was included.

I was so happy with everyone who helped me in this process. Everyone was so knowledgable, kind and hard workers. The process was explained to me very clearly, I was educated on and why certain equipment would be best for my needs. The installers were very hard workers and knowledgable about their craft. Justin and his crew were a pro show! They found great solutions to a tricky install at my house and I am 100% satisfied. Justin was very professional and on top of it. They left the worksite cleaner than when they got here and explained the whole process to be afterwards. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get AC installed.

Started using Whipple soon after the purchase of our home. Service technicians are very capable and qualified. Very thorough and professional. They do have some young administrative staff that can sometimes be frustrating to deal with, but hopefully with some additional training those minor staff issues will be corrected.

Franklin was super fast and very professional. He gave me multiple options without making me fee pressured to go with one route or another. Ultimately I’m glad I went with a full toilet replacement rather than repair because in the long run it saved me a lot of money and time. I would absolutely recommend Whipple and Franklin personally, and will definitely do business again.

We called a serviceman in to address a loud high-pitched sound our hot water heater makes when the hot water runs for an extended period. He wasn't interested in solving that problem. Instead, he wanted to give our water heater a standard tune up, try to sell us on a subscription service, and upsell us on an $800+ piece of hardware that had nothing to do with the problem we called him to solve. Other than that, he was very polite.

Extremely happy with everything. Other service company could not come out for a week and that would not do with water leaking in the ceiling. Whipple came 2 hours after I called. Frank was awesome at relying on his many years of service experience to narrow down the problem and find the leaking pipe on his first attempt at opening the ceiling. He communicated the diagnosis, planned repair and costs very clearly. He had the leak fixed quickly and even gave me some money saving tips for drying out the ceiling and repairing the hole. 10 out of 10 rating!

Had a technician come out to fix my furnace. He told me the whole thing needed to be replaced for a cost of 12,00-15,000! I got a second opinion and got the furnace repaired for $400. I felt conned from the moment the guy stepped foot in my home. I now have a "go to" HVAC person who will get all my business. Marketing cannot take the place of quality and honesty.

I really enjoy the plumbing side of Whipple but do not recommend their eclectic. It is a full time job to get them scheduled and than follow up when they don't show up and than reschedule. I manage properties and when the power was out in one room it took them 4 days to schedule an appointment which they missed. I followed up they missed the next one. When I was able to get a Whipple election inside they recommend pulling out all the wires and rewiring. Needless to say I went with with Same Day electric in Provo, they came out same day and fixed the problem without cutting holes in all the walls and rewiring.

I am 86 years old and feel like they took advantage of me. I had a water heater that was leaking. Chose Whipple because they could come right out. They charged me over $2,000. Which I found out later was double what it should have been. They did not have an invoice to give me and could only email one. I don’t email. I requested one from the office the next day and never received it. They did throw in a free furnace tune up with my over priced water heater. Well today I had them come do the “free” tune up. They said my 20 year old furnace needed to be replaced along with my ac compressor. If I wanted to just repair it the price would be over $1,000. They said it was leaking exhaust and was a danger. They turned it off. When I said I was going to get a 2nd opinion they asked who I was going to call. I said I didn’t know. Then they made me sign something saying they were not responsible and made me turn it back on. They loaded their tools and kind of stomped off. The 2nd opinion company came out within a couple hours and said there is nothing wrong with it. It was leaking a slight amount of exhaust because something was turned up too high (which I wonder if Whipple had done). It cost me a small service fee - no parts - no labor. Once again I think they prey on old people and that’s a shame.

Came out to install A/C & Heater, added a duct cleaning. I paid in full at the time of the service. Was promised a call in 2 wks to schedule duct cleaning. Never heard a peep. I called to complain 1 month later. Usual excuses as to why I was not called. Refunded money for duct cleaning. Heater does not blow hot air well. Old heater was better. Service guy came out. No real improvement. They did not charge my a/c or put on power saver as promised and paid for. I called and complained at 4 wks. They promised me I was on a list and they would contact me. No word after 8 wks. Called and complained again. Again usual excuses. Bottom line, they took my money. 8 wks later they have not finished the job. Horrible experience with "managers". They just blow you off and make excuses.

Frank and Jacob arrived in the afternoon as promised. They were safety conscious (wore masks), worked hard, and cleaned up after themselves. In spite of old pipes, they worked to clear out the main line, from my house to the sewer, using high pressure equipment. They did a good job, getting it done in under an hour! They were honest an up-front about everything. It was kind of pricey to me, but they said there's up to a year warranty on the work they did. They also advised me on pipes that will need replacing very soon.

Please, for the love of your wallet, do NOT sign up for the club membership. It’s a 12 month commitment and yes, you get a few “included” service calls (just not during peak season), and yes, you do get a 15% discount on repairs (that would cost less by using someone else anyway). That being said I had the AC and Furnace tuned up. Tech showed me a very thorough checklist and photos of all my “bad” components that are ready to fail at any give time putting my family at risk of eminent death. It’s been a few months since this apocalyptic prophesy and my furnaces are still humming along just peachy. I called to cancel my club membership but was told I could not until the annual date was up or I’d have to pay back the discounts I’d received as a club member. Oh, wow... great fine print you have there “service champions” so now I get to wait until the time is up and they can continue to charge me monthly fees.

We decided to go with whipple and right now kinda regretting it. We were going to get a water heater, ac and a furnace but we decided it would be too much money. So we just did the ac and furnace. But the credit line they open for account reflects the amount for all three. It’s been frustrating and they said they would take care of the problem but they haven’t. It’s really frustrating.

It is old and need replaced but I never felt pushed to make that decision. Decided against any repairs for the time as I am going to go with the replacement before to long.

After the installation of my new furnace air conditioner and water heater my utility bills went up. The furnace runs way more than my 20 year old one did. With the new water heater installation all of my faucets got clogged and I have extremely low flow out of everything. I can barely take a shower with hot water. I would have been better off keeping my old units and repairing them instead of replacing them for $14,000. I thought I was making a upgrade on my house. Basically just paid for a warranty. Super overrated and underperformed. Not a happy customer. I have had them out multiple times after the installation and they still have not finished after a month. The water heater was knocked over and damaged before they bring it and installed it. The technician was trying to bend the fitting so he could get the pipe installed. It fell off the next day. They also forgot to clean my air ducts like they promised when the furnace was install. A month and a 1/2 later now they are scheduling a separate company to come out and clean my air ducts.

They used to pride themselves on service. Within the past few months I am not sure what has happened? Not sure if they are getting too big or too many clients but service has been slipping. We have been a top tier customer for years with them. To just get them to come schedule a check up service they are booked out months in advance. Then they will reschedule with you day of your appointment putting you out for 2 more weeks. If your equipment has issues they will schedule time out to come see you but then keep pushing the time out later into the day. Super frustrating when you have little ones at home and an elderly mother and they are without heat in the winter. It's a shame I really loved them and would tell everyone about them but they are starting to lose my willingness to suggest them to others. When they make it to their appointments the staff are always super friendly and willing to keep my home clean. However I am sadden to see their customer service has been slipping.

I am pleased with their service. I wish they would have kept me updated as to when they were coming. They gave me a time frame of 8-12 and I waited all morning. Then around 12:30, they called and gave me an update that the technician would be here in about 45 mins. In the past, they have done a better job of this. Something to work on. I am happy with the work they do, they are definitely competent and know what they are doing.

We have had Whipple in our home several times. The techs have been knowledgeable and skilled. We have had to wait on parts or paperwork a couple of times and occasionally the workers forget their shoe covers. The office staff is very friendly but I am still waiting for some paperwork I need from Whipple to submit my Term Wise rebate. The install of the new tankless water heater was last November, hmmmm. I’ve called numerous times. Overall, we appreciate Whipple and find their radio commercials amusing :>)

Instead of waiting for a new part to be ordered that would have required scheduling the following week, he found a way to get the part and finish the job. Not only did they charge $576 to replace my cartridge inside my tub faucet, the tech broke the diverter. Then wanted to charge me to fix it. When I explained to the company that the diverter worked fine before the tech came, they wouldn’t hear it. I explained that the inside part of the diverter was on the side of the tub after he had worked on the faucet. So, unless it crawled out of the faucet on its own, the tech had to have broke it and placed the part there. They believed the tech and wouldn’t listen to me as a customer. The tech, Brian was also quite rude and negative during the repair. So, watch out unless you want to get gouged. And don’t expect them to back up their work. Addendum- they contacted me and have issued partial refund for the amount paid for the work done. Hopefully in the future, the same thing won’t happen to others.

The people working at Whipple are champions. I am floored at how professional and thorough our phone representative was and more so our technician Jimmy. Jimmy’s attention to detail and his due diligence probably saved our home from a house fire but most importantly kept our tenants safe from harm.
