Have used this branch for the last few years. Generally speaking, I have received a great service from them over this time and they have been very friendly. However, recently I have had a colour roll developed in black and white, so that was really disappointing. The next time I went to develop film, it was delayed and I had to chase for an update, then when it was ready, the scans were all back to front. This was done by one particular member of staff. I get mistakes happen, but I've never had issues with any of the other staff members. To have two things happen consecutively has put me off a bit. The scans being in reverse isn't such a big issue, but it highlights a level carelessness that was definitely there when my colour film was developed as black and white - this is obviously impossible to fix now. Take a bit more care with what you do. I would have given 5 stars had it not been for these last two experiences. No hard feelings, but please sort it out.

Great speedy service, print quality is fantastic, really can't complain at all. One piece of advice I would give however, is that if you aren't in a rush to get your prints done same day, order for next day collection online as the cost per print drops drastically. In-store my prints would have totalled about £25; with next day collection of the same prints (ordered online) the price came to a little over £15.
Overall, can't knock it. They do a great job at a great price.

Went there for photos for US visa. Quick friendly service - was in and out in less than 10 minutes. They were happy to retake the photo a couple of times until I was happy with the result. At £20 for 4 photos + digital copy, is relatively expensive but no more than other providers.

Staff member who acted like he knew it all - overpriced service for what it was (passport photo) plus no ability to change background colour in post or during the photography process. My only experience of getting other passport photos was at locations where there were several additional services offered at no charge. Passport photo was emailed to me though which is good - until you look closer and find out it was out of focus. Don't recommend.

Very professional and friendly service. In and out in 10 minutes to complete a passport application and I wasn't made to feel rushed. I travelled out of my way because of the positive reviews and I wasn't disappointed :)
Edited to add that I received my passport after just a week and this was after I visited snappy snaps on a Bank Holiday weekend so that makes it 4.5 working days. Testament to both Snappy Snaps and the passport office!

Since they have multiple branches, I believed they would be professional in terms of quality. For the photo they shot for visa the face not focused and printed on a cheap card. Charged £9.99 for 4 photos. I would recommend kodak moments where they shoot with professional quality.

I always go to this branch - the staff are kind and helpful and remember me which always feels lovely even if I don't have any photos for months at a time. They offer an offer on 35mm film and development, as well as offering 1 hour development times, even for black and white film, which is amazing. Couldn't ask for more!

Passport renewal service is perfect. Very convenient and easy process. We were there on Wednesday for the photos and the online application. Next day I took additional documentation to be sent off. These were delivered to the passport office on Friday morning. We were updated every stage. The new passport arrived yesterday, Tuesday. Passport office received it on Friday, printed and sent off the new passport on Monday. Very fast service for the standard fee.

Absolutely shocking customer service. They let me in and help me pair device and have half my pictures load before telling me they have to close that minute because they have to leave and I have too many photos to print. I would have appreciated being told that as I walked in the door if they were closing in the next couple of minutes and could not accommodate it. The manager was extremely extremely rude as he kicked me out. I will never ever ever come here again. Ruined my Friday night and ruined my boyfriend's birthday present.

Absolutely stunned at their ineptitude.
Today, I went in to collect x2 rolls developed and scanned, and x2 rolls to be developed, scanned and printed.
Sounds simple enough, but they somehow managed to print the wrong set of photos. In fairness to them, they then printed the correct ones.
They then sent my scans to the wrong email address.
They THEN sent my scans to the wrong email address AGAIN.
When I received my scans, they’d sent me SOMEONE ELSE’S photos. So much for privacy.
I phoned to tell them this THREE times, and to check if I’d receive them later the same day. And yet, here it is 6pm (closing time) I still haven’t received my scanned photos. What a shambles.
Come on guys, this is basic, basic stuff.

The guys at Snappy Snaps Aldgate have handled all of my film developing for over six months now. They're always incredibly friendly and helpful, and never fail to deliver scans to the highest quality within a day or two. Good price on film + processing bundle. Highly recommended to all film photography buffs.

Who knew that Aldgate is the only snappy shop to offer full passport renewal service! I came in with my old passport and within 10 minutes everything was done. I received my new passport in 11 days - what a service! Thank you Dave for being patient with me while taking passport photo (it wasn't my best day).
