I was very happy to find Ginger Lily Florist Shop which allowed me to surprise my daughter for her day with a delivery schedule of
a bouquet for May 1st! Order placed online from Italy.
The flowers arrived at the time I indicated and they were absolutely fantastic. My daughter was very happy with the gift she received. Thanks Laszlo.

I was so happy to find this shop that was able to deliver a bouquet very next day from the order date for International Mother’s Day for my childhood friend! The flowers are arrived, the combination of colors and design are excellent! BUT the roses and flowers on the sides were NOT FRESH !!! She loved the bouquet, but It’s made her thinking, maybe it came directly from USA(where I am leaving). I told her that they are from your local store and not from discount section! After this conversation and video, I decided to contact shop and express my feelings, I was suggested to add water in the vase (they were thinking that we do not know that the flowers should be in the water ???) and replace some flowers in a couple days. But a friend of mine after hearing of explanation why the flowers came not fresh and roses became brownish on very next day had refused to have anybody from this shop with replacement . I only know, that flowers should be FRESH and CRISPY and BEAUTIFUL!!! You should do this, if this is a business! I am giving 2.5 stars for the colors, idea and design!!!

Ginger Lily were lovely to deal with, we bought flowers for our dear mum's funeral and it was so easy and they were so helpful. In the interest of supporting small business in this crazy Covd world we are living in, instead of asking people to make donations to charity which people often do in these circumstances, we asked them to support their local independent florist and buy themselves some beautiful flowers or a plant to remember our mother. In t. Calling me to Clarify which message was for which display and they were so kind and helpful. The flowers were exactly as the photos.

In January I googled a recommended florist for my husbands birthday and found Ginger lily. The luxury flowers I brought were lovely, so much so we decided to use them again for my birthday.
My husband ordered me a luxury bouquet and I was excited to get them! Unfortunately when they arrived the first thing I noticed was how small they were and second of all they were not a accurate representation of what was on the website .
I emailed some photos and spoke to the owners husband on the phone. He looked at my email and the photos. He agreed 100% that we had not been sent a luxury size bouquet but a standard. I said that what I had was much more greens than colours in terms of flowers and he said that in the standard they put more greens in to support the flowers whereas in the luxury there is more flowers / it’s more full hence the higher price .
He said it looked like there has been a mix up but that it did look small and Absolutely was the wrong size. He said they could refund the difference in price or drop the missing flowers off to add to the vase. He said he would speak to Angela his wife and come back to me.
He didn’t phone back but his wife emailed me to say that in her opinion I had the right size in fact I had been sent more than what I had paid for.
Her husband and myself both agreed this was not the right size and not what we had paid for, let alone the clear difference in the actual colours and style advertised to what I received however Angela thinks differently .
She ended the email by saying
‘’Unfortunately, the cost of flowers is extortionate right now, and I am absorbing what of the cost I can to ensure the value is there.’’
It is not okay Angela to deliver flowers that are not the correct size and standard as advertised. Flowers meant for a special occasion in the middle of a pandemic where everyone is feeling the financial affect not just you.
Your husband clearly agreed with me this was not the luxury size. He viewed my email and photos while I spoke to him and fully agreed with me so your email basically disagreeing contradicts your business partner and confuses your customer.
You made mention that the photos you took when you delivered basically back your opinion that they are satisfactory but of course the bouquet might look fuller when packed and tied than actually in the vase!
Very very disappointed in the response from you, this was our second order in a couple of months, for the sake of not upholding your husbands agreement that this was not a correct order you delivered you have now lost a future regular customer . The photos speak for itself.
Do not recommend . First photo what we expected and the two others what came.

I'm not usually the type to leave reviews, but I was extremely disappointed with my experience buying from Ginger Lily (and the communication thereafter) so wanted to be honest and let others know before they purchase from them.
On the positive side, the quality, delivery, and ease of service were all excellent and I cannot fault them there.
However, after deciding to pay extra for a large bunch, when the flowers arrived they were much smaller than expected. I emailed back to let them know and was quite surprised that Angela was not understanding at all and actually a little patronising in her response – stating that the bunch looked smaller as it was in a small vase...
Ordinarily, I would expect this sort of arrangement for £30 and cannot imagine how small the standard bunch must be, if this is the large. Applying the same logic, I cannot see how an additional £10 would translate to such an increase in stems for the luxury (pictured).
I can see below that Angela is often argumentative and dismissive when people leave negative reviews, so will leave it up to you to make your own judgement, but I don't think I will be ordering from Ginger Lily again.

We left it until two weeks prior to our wedding to organise flowers (I know!). Angela and the team were absolute professionals, and rose to the challenge to help (even though they had a full booking of weddings on that same date). Totally flexible and willing to help, detail to personal touches, and a great sense of humour (you need that with us), the service provided was top notch. We had 2 x bride bouquets, 2 x bridesmaid bouquets and 7 button holes which were beautiful! David called me to advise that due to adverse weather conditions (the beast from the east) they may not get to deliver but they would try and they did. I ordered, specifically, a sunflower arrangement with purple flowers for my daughters birthday. Sunflowers are her favourite flower. I was afraid you might have substituted the flowers.
