Quite a nice asda, decent sized, worth a try. Good deal shirts for my upcoming holiday. Staff relatively polite, was asked politely to move at the self-service checkout due to covid.

We like to do our shopping here. Lot's of choice and everything we need. I am giving 3 stars because we find second time that the mustard on the shelf have expired date????

Huge sized Asda but mind some products expiry date because someone doesn't bother to look at all of them or change them on time. At the evenings don't expect to find too many fruit and vegetables, because they mostly stock it for the mornings. Meats at acceptable prices, except the lamb.

All the usual that is expected of Asda, good quality produce ,great value and a wide range of products. However the pharmacy is situated at the far right corner of the store unlike most which are just as you enter, anyone needing only to collect a prescription will have to navigate shoppers which normally shouldn't be a problem but in these circumstances that we are in and with the need to keep distance from others i feel many may be put off from using the service. Overall though a clean bright store with helpful staff and ample parking spaces.

If you are expecting simple manners from the staff, I wouldn't recommend going into the store at any time past 9pm, particularly the elderly security. I was told that the cigarette counter was closed due to "not having enough staff" - which wasn't the main reason I was shopping there - but I was also told to "be quiet" by said security guard when politely asking a question because he was too busy listening to something on his headset - which I was not aware of because I don't have superman levels of hearing. During the day, the staff are usually lovely and polite, so avoid at night and go Tesco instead

This Asda is of a good quality. It's large enough but not massive. They have always had in what I want, and the prices are good... It's Asda so you kind of know what your getting. Lots of parking, easy to find, decent fuel. There are a lot of supermarkets close so competition is strong. It hold up well.

This place was a little to busy for me and I saw 3/4 people without masks. During the first lockdown superstores seemed to have a lot more covid safety pracautions. This place definitely doesn't. Lots of people in store no control on how many in store at one time. I don't feel comfortable with the amount of people in store. I will continue to shop online until the pandemic is over. Fingers crossed this isn't to far away. The 3 stars are for the key workers in there thank you and it would be 5 stars if I were rating you solely. You're doing a fantastic, difficult job.

Every time I visit, go to the pizza counter it's empty, stand there for ages before anybody dicide to even notice your standing there. When greated you get the most miserable people you'll ever come across, like they don't want to even be there or have a job at all. A smile would be nice, in this miserable time in the world. If your not happy ask your manager to move you or find another job.

So busy there was no parking and absolutely no social distancing, even by staff. What happened to limiting the amount of people in the store? Not following covid restrictions every other shop is abiding by.

Not much creativity and diversity in product ranges, but this doesn't stick out from other Asda stores or even other supermarkets in UK. But I advise managers to have a trip around Europe and US perhaps, to see how supermarkets should look alike. But what makes this Asda special is horribly unprofessional and rude staff! Never had so many issues anywhere else. Despite visiting nearby Tesco even more often (for a reason!), never had any issues with Tesco staff. But Asda... it looks like their biggest issue is to have any customers at all. While asking for an ID a 35yo person might be considered reasonable in some rare corner cases, doing that notoriously by one employee, despite being familiar with me and my wife, is bit fishy. Once I couldn't find my ID - you can't even imagine her smile... No arguments were working here, despite she knew us and our age. Ok fine, that can be one person with some mental issues, right? Nope, there were many smaller issues with other employees, like for example leaving self-service customers with no help for 10-15 minutes. Or, what has just happened today - for some unknown reason Asda (this one only? Nothing about that on Asda website) decided to allow only one person at self-checkout till. With no visible signs telling you that before you enter the self-service section... So today with my wife we both entered this section, started scanning products, made it up almost to the payment, without a single employee raising any concerns. Then suddenly, when I was paying and my wife was preparing bags to pack our products, one lady approached us and told that we are not allowed to be both at a single till. We were surprised to hear that and answered that it doesn't make any sense to split us at this stage, as we were already finishing and packing our products. So she asked another person to intervene, probably her superior - another lady which was even more aggressive and started shouting at us. I tried to stay calm and said her that her behaviour is unreasonable and it is too late to demand us splitting up, as we have almost finished and she is simply overzealous. She quickly asked the security to step in, when we were leaving the self-service section and heading to the store exit. I'm not entirely sure, but I think I heard her saying "make sure they won't come back to this store again". When we were almost at the exit, we saw a security guy running towards us, so we stopped and waited to see what is he going to say. Fortunately he was more rational than all those ladies and asked us what has happened there at tills. We described the situation and he seemed to understand our stance. He then blamed the tense situation with the virus, that people are bit nervous and struggle to cope with all changes, hence we were treated like that. Even without trying to apologise, his behaviour was thousands times better then those ladies at tills.

What happened to social distancing? I visited Asda in Long Eaton today but couldn't buy half the things I needed because of congestion in the aisles. Every other aisle was a road block. No attempt by the supermarket to keep people moving.

Disorganised for COVID restrictions, staff all over the place and not social distancing or west face coverings. However several announcements tell customers to wear them

It's a really good ASDA, lots of choice, lots of products ranging from budget to the more expensive. The quality of Asda supermarket is good and the service is friendly, I formal and helpful.

Asda should only allow one person per house hold in at a time. Sensor staff should also enforce the rules. People need to follow the arrows. Not a nice shopping experience. Other well known stores have a better policy and better shopping experience.

Staff are rude and disorganised and the policy on carrier bags in this particular store is disgusting, they also put out reduced items in such am illogical manner that 2x a day the aisles get blocked with zombies trying to buy 10 overripe punnets of strawberries so they can throw them away the next day... avoid

We've used the Click & Collect service several times, which might as well be re-named Click and Reject. On two occasions in the last month we've attended and found our shopping (including frozen goods) sitting in plastic trays in the sun... Apparently this is the Asda way of getting more customers booked - they just don't use the lockers because they're already full! The substitutions are always horrific... This week we had 3 bottles of distilled vinegar substituted with 1 single bottle of malt vinegar. Last week it was 4 litres of Coca Cola substituted with 1 litre of Pepsi Max. There's no queueing system and consequently you'll find yourself dealing with huffing, entitled, middle-aged couples in their Volvo's, BMW's and Audi's who seem to think that being newly retired gives them automatic right to push their way in front of everyone else... Finally you'll frequently add things to the online order, check out, then they simply won't appear. Today we're missing a lemon roulade, vanilla ice cream, Twix and Breakaway multipack bars, Monster Munch, Hoops and Mini Cheddars, three baking chocolate bars... It's just an abomination of a service, proving you always get what you pay for. When we checked out last night it was over £90 in total, yet we collected just over £60 worth of food today. Back to Tesco methinks!

Instead of letting customers know the store had no bags when they entered, they decided to let people know once they had already purchased their items. Leaving people stranded in the store with baskets in which you aren't allowed to take out the store. Elderly people wandering around as they hadn't bought enough bags or people like myself who came straight from work with no bags. Staff were rude and unwilling to help. You got a "no" in a rude tone and they'd walk off. I saw this happen 3 times. Disgusting

Usually we go to asda about twice a week maybe once, we definitely go on a Friday. Today (23/06/20) we went to asda to go and get my rabbit some fresh greens and usually they’re quite good with sanitation during the coronavirus outbreak but today we went to till no 5 and just as the lady was about to scan the items of purchase, she started coughing and covered her mouth with her hands while doing so but she did not use the hand sanitizer provided at her desk on the till and she proceeded to scan our shopping with suspectedly contaminated hands, i am appalled by this action so I reported her to the front desk, next time we will be using the self serve station.

The new security fences and facial recognition cameras that put your precious mug in the crosshairs as you walk in are offensive. Frankly, it would be easier to get out of Guantanamo Bay now than it would to get out of Asda if, heaven forbid, you changed your mind and decided not to make a purchase. Asda, treat us like customers and not suspects. Shopped with you every week since I moved to the area 20 years ago. Up until I was greeted with with that sight this week. Let me know when you get rid of it all and I'll come back. Or go the whole hog and employ snipers. Whatever works best for you.

Whilst visiting Adsa in Long Eaton today with my elderly father, I was informed by the rudist security person, that we were NOT allowed to enter the store together. I asked if we were allowed to enter separately and I was informed to 'F#@k off and go to Tesco' as I will not be allowed into the store. If this is how Asda staff are treating and talking to their costumers, I would prefer to take my costum to Tesco. I would NOT recommend this Asda store to ANYONE.

I bout some Micky and Minnie Mouse trainers and am not happy that they don’t fit..... why, because on the tag they said size 6 but in the trainers they say a size 4 so I thought I try them on at home and of course they don’t fit. Now I have tried 5 times to contact Asda but no one is picking up and so I not happy about this at all

I have just used the Parcel Return area at Long Eaton Asda. The machine itself was not very good. Not responsive to touch and took ages to scan. In the end it took a staff member to scan it. Only to then find that I needed the order number which is on the return sheet sealed inside the package! Ridiculous! I've never known another parcel delivery service work so poorly. Won't use again. Definitely do NOT recommend.

It's a mega supermarket, so it sells pretty much everything that you think of. The prices are decent, the layout is relatively logical, and it's all on one level, including the car park, which in my opinion gives it the edge over tesco across the road (quicker to get in and out, especially for wheelchair or prams/buggys).

Very disappointed last night (7pm)7/9/2019,when shopping was complete went to pay and only 1(ONE) till was manned all the others were self service which if the person In front has alcohol means everything stops until an assistant arrives to okay the sale. Took twice as long to pay for a few items, hope this isn't the norm and on a busy Saturday night Common sense prevails and more checkouts are manned in the future. Very poor also that my hessian "bag for life" had split along the seam but Asda wouldn't replace it SURELY this makes it A bag till it breaks Not a bag for life. Very disappointed
