Good sized supermarket with great selection of produce, clothing and homwears. Friendly and helpful staff which provide an almost family feel to the store. Reasonable freefrom goods. Pricing is moderate. Free parking. No charge for trollies. Covid safe environment.

I mean, it's a Sainsburys! Pretty average as far as Sainsburys go. Usually don't do a full shop here as a student because it's a bit more expensive than the nearby Tescos (and definitely more so than the Lidl), but it's convenient to pop to for fresh necessities to top up (milk, bread, toiletries etc).
Less variety in spirits than Tescos if you are a student, but a much better wine selection, most listed with what foods/tastes they go well with.
Always enjoy the bakery section here, and my flatmate and I have a particular love for Sainsburys rustic fries.
Has been pretty good for safety during COVID, though really disappointed to hear they won't be enforcing mask wearing.

I was relatively early, so the store wasn't really busy. I'd gone in for specific items, and they were all there on the shelves. No sign of any gaps. Good customer service from staff too

Good parking....toilets available and reasonably priced food. They are trying to be as cheap as Aldi bit still quite a way off . I was able to buy grapes for £1.29 then got in car and realised half the amount.....probably less likely to go off in next 3 days. Paid £3.30 for a massive watermelon- a treat that will last

Very disappointed with Covid safety procedures not being enforced in this store. Visited today and a family group of 5 (no one under 11) were wandering around without masks. This is just so unfair that people just won’t be responsible for their behaviour with millions dead worldwide but even worse when a company the size and stature of Sainsbury’s allows it. Use an alternative until Sainsbury’s does the decent thing and enforces the lockdown.

Doing a great job managing the need for social distancing. Regulate numbers and there's a good amount of space so feels safe and able to socially distance. Smart shop also enables quicker shopping with reduced handling. Is a little more expensive however.

Nice and quiet. STILL no lasagne sheets. None for about two weeks now. So annoyed when I got to the till. Cashier continued having a good chat with woman in front of me even after she had paid thereby keeping me waiting. As she was all talked out and behind on time she then went extra fast and I struggled to sort items and pack my bags. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

30 Dec 20, around 1200... lady (without glasses) in the petrol station needs to keep her private life private infront of customers and focus on her job!
She was also rude when I simply said I don't require a receipt!

We shop here a lot. Plenty of free parking. Under lockdown they have fone a great job in controlling numbers within the store. That also means no long queues at checkout. Good variety of food and at a decent price.

Sainsbury's is one of the very few supermarkets that still oblige customers by stocking many not so much needed sales items (..eg they stock many different types of baking flour) where sales of which are low .I like the way they continue to stick with these lesser required items to help customers..thank you

Only for air in my tyres. Certainly wouldn't shop there ever again. Experiences mould future habits. My experiences of this store show why shops are going to the wire. Who manages this brand? No one by the looks of it

Good selection and prices. Checkout area is a bit cramped though, especially mid-morning on weekends.
Don't expect to get around the aisles quickly - the customer base and a little slower on their feet.
