Village Vet cared for our gorgeous Boston Terrier Mia until she passed away in 2015 with love, professionalism, knowledge and consideration right up until her very last moments. When we recently got a wonderful new puppy we were not sure we could cope with using the same surgery where our much loved pet had passed away, despite the awesome care. One visit to another perfectly efficient vet showed us why going back to Village Vets was the only option. The bottom line is that we trust that they only care and recommend in the best possible way for our pet. All options are explained and the affection shown for our new little furry family member was heart warming. We needed to see the difference to understand that a vet is not just a vet. Village vets is better, simple as that.

Village Vet is simply the best! We use Southgate and Winchmore Hill branches and the service is amazing. At some stage in the future I would like to move but not sure where we could move to. I think it would have to be within the Village Vet area so that I know my dogs get great treatment but that for non urgent cases it would have to be Simon Hayes who treated my pets as he has for the past 18+ years or a member of his team. For appointments where time was vital I know so many other vets in the group that are great too. Yesterday I took my dog for consultation with Graham and although it was during lockdown service was just as good 5*+++

I came here as a recommendation from my usual vet, my cat needed a scan and the specialist here was very good, I was told. I can confirm she is.
The reception staff is very nice and attentive. When I was ushered in I spoke with a nurse, who was patient and kind, answered all my questions. I never felt rushed or like my queries were stupid.
I didn't have the opportunity to meet with the specialist vet face-to-face but we spoke on the phone and she kept me well informed of what my cat needed to have done, and why. I definitely felt she knew what she was doing and was confident my cat was receiving good care.
Now this is what sealed the deal for me: when picking up my furry friend, I found out I had forgotten my purse at home. This is not a local-to-me vet, which meant I'd have to make a semi-lengthy trip back home to get my card, go back, and travel home again (this also meant my cat would have to wait at the vet longer, an undesirable occurrence).
They were extremely nice, despite this being my first visit. I was allowed to leave a deposit using my husband's card and take my girl home. As soon as I arrived I called them and made the remaining payment with my card. They were always nice and gracious about my mistake. Because they understood my very nervous cat's need to go home as soon as possible, for trusting me to make good on things my end, and for the excellent service my feline companion received, I'm really happy to recommend Village Vet.

Last week I had to make the hardest decision in my life, to have my beautiful tabby put to sleep! I'd had her since 6 weeks and said goodbye at 18 years. Everybody was so lovely and very respectful as I was a mess. Great team x

I have been going to Village Vet Winchmore Hill for the last 4 years with my bunny, Bertie, and I would never go anywhere else. Every single person there; the vets, vet nurses, reception and management team, is amazing! They are all exceptionally experienced and professional and are always so helpful and accommodating, as well as being wonderfully friendly and comforting (which I've needed many times when Bertie has been an in-patient and very poorly). I have visited other vets in the past and no other practice or staff comes close to the Winchmore Hill branch. Bertie is a frequent patient and he is always looked after with the utmost care and attention. Thank you, as always, to everyone at the practice for keeping Bertie healthy and happy - and for keeping me sane! I cannot recommend the staff and practice enough; you will not find better.

This veterinary practice is fantastic. My cat receives thorough and excellent care from the team of vets and nurses at this practice. Everyone is lovely and friendly, and I would particularly recommend Graham as a vet, although everyone else I've seen has been super as well. It's not the cheapest but I know my cat is getting the most up to date, professional care.

We have been with Village Vets since 2010, so 7 years, and get an excellent service. It can be expensive but the quality of care, with vets you get to know well, is worth it. It is amazing when this young person before you is able to perform surgery on your dog and make such a difference. The staff seem content, which creates the right ambiance for ourselves and our pets. Up until now I used vets, but never felt connected. I do now!

Simon has taken care of my cats ever since the practice was taken over by Village Vet. He is knowledgeable and clearly explains what he has found when examining each cat. He has faultless knowledge of the best treatment required. From time to time, I’ve taken a cat to one of the other vets in the practice. They have treated the cats satisfactorily, but Simon is outstanding.

I have never hated anything as much as i hate this vet. my puppy had to have an operation and this vet demanded the full balance upfront within an hour, otherwise the puppy would not receive any help and would most likely not survive. they didn't even want to give us a couple hours to sort out funds or at least begin the op and let us come in within a couple hours and pay. My Girlfriend was told on the phone not to cry because its only a dog. DONT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE

Iv been going to village vet for over 20 years now. Everyone there is kind & helpful. They have always provided the best care for my cats & dogs. I couldn’t even imagine taking my furry family members any where else. Village vet have the best Facilities for dental care & after care I definitely recommend them if you care enough for your fur family then village vet is the best place to take them.

I started using this practice about two years ago and I have no complaints. The staff are all very nice and care for the animals that come through their door. At my old practice in Bruce Grove I felt the vet to be very condescending and rude and I felt they gave poor advice. I have never felt that the staff at Village Vet have tried to get me to spend unnecessary money and have even advised me against doing so for certain things. They are also willing to listen to what you have to say. I plan on sticking with them.

Really delighted with all aspects of Village vets. Help and advice from even before collecting our pup, weekly puppy parties to socialise and accustom her to visiting there. She loves going for her monthly check ups and all staff are friendly and very helpful. Couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Both Simon and Graham are excellent vets. It's clear to me that it's not only a job for them but they are really passionate about helping and healing animals. They are always really friendly and patient with the little patients. I find it really reassuring that they don't rush the appointments, they listen carefully what we, the owners have to say. They are always so considerate with our cats, they make sure to say hi to them, stroke them a bit before they examine them.

We used to bring all our pets here when it was Lopatkins. Still bring them, years after he sold the company/premises to Village Vet.
They're a very warm, friendly bunch here and always willing to help with advice if needed.
They operate a loyalty scheme, which is useful because they are far from cheap. They do provide invoices/receipts if you have insurance, and have various insurance schemes they can recommend.
They offer a wide range of services for most pets and I do get the impression they care lots

After our Persian Cat thought she had wings, and could fly from our top floor bedroom, she unfortunately fell really hard on the concrete step and then decided to hide. After eventually finding Pippa, she was in a bit of state, we couldn't see anything physically wrong, but there was a sign of blood coming from her mouth. Thankfully Village Vet, Winchmore Hill is open on a Sunday. We went straight there. They were amazing, and the Vet was so thorough and completely checked Pippa over and calmed the situation down. He really did a first class job, amazing. Thank you so much, all is well..

Superb service with staff who are friendly and knowledgeable at every level. We have 2 dogs who have received top quality care at every visit and have been really impressed and reassured by the practice when we've had to leave them overnight. The staff knew our dogs and could trll us straightaway how they were. If you want to know your pet is being well cared for and loved, this is the right place to bring them.

I have had no issues with the practice or any of the vets. Staff have been very friendly and we always have been happy with the services. All of a sudden I called to arrange for my dogs yearly vaccination only to be told that they don’t have it in stock and will not order it either and I should go to a different vet. I was so shocked that I didn’t know what to say to be honest. Not offered any advise as to an alternative, is a standard yearly vaccination surely there could have been a solution. Never had issues before always paid for any services straight away so the easiness by which all of a sudden I was turned away and told to go to another vet is shocking and is very concerning as well. I really didn’t want to give them 1 star but I’m being left with no option. What if they were to behave the same way in an emergency scenario. Very very disappointed.

On our return from a short break away we noticed that our cat Bilbo Baggins was not his usual self. We found a lump on his back which appeared to be a bite. So next day we rang Village Vet and were given an appointment that morning. The Vet was very good describing the treatment as it was carried out and the medication required. Aftercare was explained fully and the consequences of not carrying it out. Follow up appointments were made and within a week Bilbo had recovered and was back to normal. Thanks to all the staff a Village Vet Winchmore Hill.
