Took our dog to Goddard and pdsa in Bow, both were more interested in money which we spent and the dog still didn't get any better.
Ark Vets, in particular, Lyndon was recommended by a friend. When we called, the reception staff were excellent and made us feel so comfortable that we booked a second opinion appointment straight away.
The care and respect we received from all staff, especially Lyndon, was out of this world.
Our dog never settled at the other surgeries and became anxious on arrival for each visit. The staff at both these vets were rude and only seemed interested in finances.
Although at Ark vets our dog was anxious at first both Lyndon and his assistant were incredibly patient. We got the right diagnosis and left a lot more confident. We got one months supply of 3 sets of medication which was 3 times cheaper then the 1 medicine, prescribed for 1 week that our dog couldn't take in the end due to it causing him to be sick.
On behalf of Rio Raphael and his family we are truly thankful and will never be going anywhere else....

I am just reading the reviews and I am shocked to hear all the negative comments about the front desk staff, I have never experienced anything but kindness and support, my insurance forms are always dealt with very quickly and I can't praise them enough for everything that I have had to do with them. As for the vets I mostly see Lyndon who I trust 100% and other vets I have seen in Lyndon absence are also good. I have moved 25 miles away from this practice but will stay with them as I have never had such a caring vets.

I have nothing but praise for Animal Ark, if it was not for the fact they have a qualified vet on call at the surgery 24/7 my dog would not be with us today, she was on deaths door on the bank holiday monday, i took her straight there and they kept her in, she is now on the road to recovery. The veterinarian staff, the auxiliary and the admin are all extremely professional and helpful nothing is too much trouble, thank you Animal Ark

Disgusting experience, thankfully only over the phone and surely will never used it or recommend to anyone. Called to find out price for vaccinations against rabies and for one Pet Passport. Rip off in day light, the most expensive prices and aggressive form of selling extras which aren't needed.
Price for rabies £80 + £60 for Passport + £20 Consultation Fee + whatever for annual shots+ whatever for Flee & worming ....Pet Passport doesn't require annual shots to be up to date ! It doesn't require Flee worming either and worming only if you coming back in to UK within 5 days !!
Animal Ark offers Pet Passport for around £250 if you follow all their UNNECESSARY suggestions where in central London paid few months back £80 for Pet Passport and rabies. Aggressive form of selling services which you don't need. Place to avoid !

I can't speak highly enough about Animal Ark! I was with another Vets when my dog fell ill with an infection in her teet! After nearly a week, I was seeing no improvements and my dog was getting worse. I was absolutely worried I was gonna lose her! I spent the night hunting through all different Vets and, Animal Ark, kept on popping up! I took my dog along and I am so thankful I did!! The staff there are absolutely professionals, smartly dressed and its immaculately clean! They diagnosed my dog straight away and the next day she was back to her normal self...I would especially like to say thankyou to, Elise...That Lady is an absolute God send and I can't speak highly enough about her! I will never take my dog anywhere else!!

I have been attending animal ark vets for over 10 years (for both cats and dogs). I can honestly say that having gone through other vets (franchises/PDSA) they put not only the patients care first but also that of the owners. Lyndon (the boss) goes out of his way to reassure anxious owners and exceptions are made as and when necessary/appropriate.... They are not all about money! The service they provide as always been (and is) professional and caring. In fact, my relocation is dictated by ease of travel to animal ark. In my opinion it's one of the best practices for vetinary care.

We have nothing but praise for Animal Ark! It is by far the best Veterinary Centre we have ever been to. Every single member of staff from the receptionists & Admin to the veterinary staff are professional and very caring and all seem to absolutely love their job! They have looked after our dog Jack since we moved him from Goodard & Allen 8 years ago and the care he has received at the Animal Ark is not only far superior but much more affordable. Thank you to ALL the staff and with special thanks to Lyndon, Emma and also to Kay for updating us on Jack's progress today.

Since moving we still travel the extra miles to come to this vets. I would not go anywhere else. Lindon and all the vets including the reception staff are brilliant. Lindon saved my first Yorkie after taking her for a second opinion after Goddards tried to rip me off with a quote for over a thousand pounds and I would not take my present yorkie anywhere else. They are more interested in the welfare of your pet rather than ripping you off. I would highly recommend these to anyone. Sharon (Dog: Millie Welford)

This Practise is truly a wonder and I am going to come to the Animal Ark Veterinary Centre from now on!!
I went to my local veterinary practise in central London. They did such a botch job on my little rat Gus! He had initially problems with his right hind limb and they diagnosed with a tumour, that turned out to be an abscess and stitched it back up without removing all the puss. This resulted In the wound being itchy, smelling nasty (infected) and it didn't look right. I went in to a panic, to my vets who said this was normal - I wanted a second opinion! I knew something was off!
I came to find out about Animal Ark via a few sources (they are highly recommended for small furries).
1) All my rats are adopted from Mimi Rodent Rescue in Stratford.
2) Rat Care UK and Rat Rescue group on Facebook.
3) A few people I know recommended it highly.
Whilst you would think rats are mammals and should be easy to treat. A lot of exotics vets simply have no idea how to treat them and or over charge.
Well this was the case with my vets and A few others I enquired on when looking for a more suitable practises.
Animal Ark is great because you can book online as well as call in and the services are not limited. The first day bringing Gus in for a second opinion I was greeted by lovely front of desk staff Scott (who had said he had rats himself) and was very welcoming. The environment was not sterile at all and they had decorated for christmas all the staff seemed jolly and overall it was very nice for once to be at the vets.
We were taken in to a room by Imogen who was a vet nurse (I believe), she was kind and helpful. It was Alex who dealt with our case, so well in fact and he was incredibly kind. I cant thank him and all the other staff enough.
I had been put in quite a bit of financial trouble due to the last vets overcharging me and they were understanding and very sympathetic to my dilemma making sure they wouldn't charge me more then their quote. They took the time to rigorously clean and treat the infected necrotic wound and also explained all the steps of after care doing a completely different method of treatment from what the other vet practise had said. The previous practise charged me insane amounts and didnt even clear the infection.
But Alex at Animal Ark, flushed the wound and went in to detail about the importance of leaving the wound open and letting the puss clear out. And whilst it looked gruesome - only a month down the line there is no puss it is closing and healing itself, Gus is not trying to constantly bite at himself. I have one healthy, happy rat and its all thanks to the Animal Ark. Considering there are so many recommendation especially for small furries and my own experience was so great, I would not dream of going anywhere else with my rats ever again. They are kind, honest, caring, sympathetic and actually know what they are doing at Animal Ark and I am so glad I went here for the treatment of my little Gus. So thank you to all the staff I know by name at Animal Ark and all those I dont who Helped with my Gus.
