The whole team at Goddard’s Veterinary Group Ilford demonstrated exemplary professionalism and politeness to me, and delivered genuine, caring and highly skilled treatment for my cat Leo, throughout my full interaction with them. I honestly can’t thank them enough. After becoming aware that Leo may have had teeth problems, I had gnawing, ongoing anxiety and concern over what to do, fearing I might make the wrong decision. This was on top of the more poignant fear of him actually having dental surgery. From my first visit to Goddard’s Vet Group Ilford, everyone from reception, to the nurses, to Elena, put me at ease through their calm demonstration of genuine care, competence and professionalism. Whether they were aware or not, they put me at complete ease, finally. I felt confident, and completely at peace, to proceed following their guidance and advice on Leo’s treatment. I can happily report that Leo had successful minor dental surgery, under a general anaesthetic, and is recovering wonderfully. He actually seems happier, which I’m hoping is owed to the relieving of his teeth pain. What a great experience with a great team, to whom I am very grateful.

It's beyond my ability to say how much I appreciate and recommend this vet clinic. Very helpful, polite and caring staff. My kitten has been neutered by these amazing vets couple of days ago. You can tell it was performed very neatly and professionally. My kitten was very well looked after during post surgery recovery, was given some food and water. Its obvious that these vets love their job and are happily going that extra mile.
I'm very impressed and definitely recommend this vet clinic!

Excellent service at this vets which Ive never been to before. They went out of their way to ensure my dog had a new Animal Health Certificate. The receptionist and vet were excellent. Thank you so much, Ted safely arrived in Greece with no problems :)

Took our new puppy for a health check today and received a great service. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and were great with our new puppy who was in a brand new environment. Would 100% recommend.

Fantastic service. The staff were really helpful, explaining everything about our new puppy ie. any questions/concerns we had, advice/things which we didn't know. Felt slightly lost as me and my sisters are first dog owners however the vet provided clarity and I feel a lot more comfortable in looking after Shera.

After a mystery illness my dog needed some real TLC and patience. The staff at this practice have been amazing, from medication to food my little one is sorted now. He was so looked after during his surgeries and i felt content leaving him with staff. Reasonably priced too.

I have used Goddards many times but usually another branch. I used Ilford in an emergency and Elena has been amazing looking after my cat Marley. Really helpful and comforting with a lovely team too. Can't recommend highly enough. Thank you

We brought our hamster here as we were told that Elena was one of the best for small animals and that she treated them just as seriously as she would any other animal.
Honestly, Elena was absolutely fantastic, words cannot describe how grateful we are. Anytime we had anything wrong with our hamster, we took her to see Elena, who always treated us with respect, was a lovely person to be around and, most importantly, was amazing with our hamster.
When the time came that our little one couldn't go on any longer, Elena cared for her through to the last moment. I didn't think there was anyone else who would care for our hamster in the way that we felt she deserved, but Elena did. She gave her the best treatment we could ask for, and I feel so grateful for her, and I cannot thank her enough for her hard work.
I should also mention Jean, Jan and Laila. Especially towards the end, we were always made to feel welcome and never rushed. When we called, Jan remembered us and made us feel like we weren't just another customer, she remembered our names and made us feel cared for.
I can't thank you all enough, but I hope that you see this and know how much what you all did means to us.

Elena is definitely the best exotics specialist I've seen! She was not only knowledgable and thorough in her examination of my budgie, took care to listen to my concerns (and paranoia!), but also treated my bird gently and with respect, unlike other vets I've seen. My birdy is a very happy budgie now! Thank you for all the help Dr Elena, and always replying quickly to my emails! You're a real gem. Definitely 100% recommend you to all bird owners in London.

Vet is fantastic and very thorough, doesn't rush you and is happy to answer any questions you have about medications and treatments for your pet. Experienced with small furries too; my hamster is very excitable but not used to being handled by other people and she was great with him!

I have taken my pets to Goddards for about 20 years now, but normally go to Wanstead but they have no avian vet now so I had to take my duck to Ley Street. All I can say is what a great vet Elena is. She was very kind and gentle with him when he was in a panic. She was straightforward and thorough in her treatment and patient in explaining the treatment to me and very caring to my duck. I thoroughly recommend this vets. The nurse there was sooo lovely too and made a fuss of my duck. Always always recommend Goddards. Edited to say I wish I could keep reviewing this place and giving 5 stars because it really is amazing. Last time I had an appointment my duck had gotten halfway out of his crate into the car and Elena said if you can park outside I will come out to see him - outstanding. And I love Jan the receptionist. I am praising this vets as far and wide as I can lol.
