Incredibly poor service - avoid at all costs, total shysters. The reasons to avoid are: 1.) Dishonesty in pricing - I submitted an accurate account of my possessions, and they provided a really good quote, around the £5-600 mark including packing. Subsequently, the bill came in over £1000 - so first of all, you can't trust the quote they give you, they will low-ball you to get your business. 2.) Dishonesty in dealings - On the day of packing, it became obvious that their estimate was wrong, and they would need a either a second trip, a second van or a larger van to fit all of my property in. I called them to advise them of this, and was told not to worry, that their packers were sure it would all fit in one trip. Of course, my belongings did not fit in the van they brought, and they made no additional provision for this - this required an extra trip, overtime for the movers etc etc. 3.) Difficulty in recovering for damaged items - in the move, the movers broke both an antique table and a picture frame. It took seven weeks, and a dozen calls and emails before they accepted responsibility for the damage; in the end we took a paltry payment, not at all reflective of the value of the goods damaged to get it over with. ______ You should avoid this removal company at all costs - they are, in my opinion, bordering on con artists.
