Had to change places to shorten my commute to work and needed movers to help me as I don't have a car. Did a quick research and decided to go with Fantastic Removals because of the recommendations I found. I booked them without even lifting the phone, which was nice. They weren't the best price, but were pretty reasonable, and had all the legitimateness and trustworthiness I needed. I'm fairly pleased with the job they did, nothing was broken and they followed all of my instructions. I'd call them again if I need removals again.

My friend who is blind used Fantastic Removals to move from her one bedroom flat in Battersea to a flat in Canary Wharf. She booked the service for 3 hours which was sufficient as she didn’t have much stuff. I was there on the day to help her. Three removal men arrived and we explained what needed to be moved. They started but were extremely slow and were moving at a snails pace. We left them after about two hours to make our way to the Canary Wharf in an Uber - the journey took an hour. However the Removal men didn’t arrive until 4 hours later. My friend made numerous calls to the company but they kept just saying they were on their way. When they arrived they came to the flat but disappeared for another 2 hours and then took another 2/3 hours to bring the furniture to the flat. My friend was assured that she wouldn’t be charged more than the agreed price but she received a text when the job was finished charging her 3x what had been agreed. I can only conclude that they took advantage of her because of her disability. It was a very stressful and shocking experience. My friend did complain to the company but they have been very unhelpful.

I requested a lot of quotes, before I ended up booking with Fantastic Removals. Two years ago I came across some scammers, so I told myself that this time I will be more careful out there. Anyway I had a nice conversation with Alvin who was very helpful and helped me clarify all the details about the service. I strongly recommend this service to everyone who wants to have a smooth home removal.

The Customer Service team was really helpful and reassured me that everything would be fine and it was, although I was really stressed and had to call them so many times with the same questions. However, I wasn’t happy that I didn’t have any info about my belongings until they were almost delivered at the final destination. They went to a storage while waiting for the day of the move. Otherwise everything was perfect!

**UPDATE 2: Fantastic Services got in touch around 48 hours after their first reply and finally sent me a breakdown, added £30 compensation, and sent me a refund which arrived a few days later. Thanks for resolving but still not planning to use again. It took over 2 weeks with lots of chasing and using review platforms to get attention.** **UPDATE 1: Fantastic Services replied pretty fast to my review but after 24 hours of their reply still haven’t made any actual attempt to contact me or resolve the issue in any way** I booked a removals service moving out of a one bed flat with furniture etc. They charged me a mystery amount and after a week and a half aren’t replying to my very basic request to receive an itemised breakdown of the bill as it turned out to be higher than expected with no explanation. Apparently they need “supervisor approval” to do this. I had booked packing, moving and materials. All I was told afterwards was that there were 2 hours spent packing and 9 hours spent moving. It was more like 3 and 8. But even with the 2/9 and respectively hourly rates, it didn’t add up as the materials cost I was quoted was less than I have paid after deducting labour costs. Furthermore some materials weren’t used For some reason they won’t give me any breakdown. I’ll soon be asking my credit card company to reverse part of the charges given Fantastic Services’ lack of transparency. Lastly, the actual two staff members who came to move our home did not speak English. One spoke very little and one spoke none. This is fine but Fantastic Removals should have made us aware of it so we could prepare better. They also didn’t want to look at the Ikea manual I offered when rebuilding our sofa at our new home which meant it took half an hour more than it should have, at a rate of £69 x two people. Honestly, if you’re intending to pay for a proper moving service, I recommend going for a different firm; Fantastic Services is a false economy - you may get a better hourly price but it’ll take longer and at the end you’ll be charged a mystery non itemised amount with nobody getting back to you for over 10 days.

0 Stars if I could, I was shocked and horrified by my service. I implore you NOT to use Fantastic Removals. The packaging service was frankly terrible, none of my valuables were wrapped accordingly. A vase was put in a bloody box with no padding- that’s just so ridiculous in terms of common sense. A few items have conveniently gone missing during the move (unironically a cardboard knife). The packers threw things into boxes with complete disregard, things laid ontop of eachother until exceedingly heavy, entire drawers literally tipped out, they didn’t ask any particular questions that showed sincerity or care in terms of their service. Such as ‘Would you like your fragile belongings wrapped in extra padding?’ The movers were equally as shocking. Aside from asking really intrusive questions such as ‘How much is your rent?’ they just didn’t care about any of my belongings. One even took a poo in the bathroom at the back of the flat without asking. They weren’t friendly and came across as annoyed when informing us of extra charges, as if it were our fault even when I’d said we’d happily pay before. They didn’t speak very much English (which would be fine if the basics were understood, but that was not the case) and so ended up placing boxes where they shouldn’t have. So many items were damaged and I’m just disgusted by how they could do this kind of job with my stuff. DO NOT USE FANTASTIC REMOVALS! Furthermore, I emailed them twice after the reply suggested it but they didn’t get back to me either time. Do not trust this company or their replies to bad reviews!

When I needed to move house I was looking for a company with a polite staff, to treat my furniture and appliances with care and to be in time because I'm a busy person with messy working hours. When I did an online research, Fantastic Removals came up and I decided to put my trust in them. They fulfilled my expectations and moved my house from Southwark to Islington in no time and without any hassle. I took advantage of their packing and storage services as well. So, if you want true pros for your moving, I'd totally recommend these guys!

Fantastic Removals are really fantastic. Moving out is very stressful for our family, because it happens to us all the time! However, every problem has its solution, and this company made our last move absolutely wonderful. We are talking about speed, efficiency, and highly-professional behavior. Good service, however it took a lot longer than anticipated. We were told we have to pay for 2 extra hours and only moved a couple of miles from two-bedrooms flat but it cost us over £450. Our first quote was of a lot less! Although, everything was nicely packed and boxed, and ready to go.

They lost my drill as part of a home move and when I contacted them about it they told me to contact the police to report lost property! Unbelievable. You get what you pay for with these cowboys. Would suggest spend a little more elsewhere and get a better service where you don't have to write an itinerary of every single item you own and then check it back at your destination! Update: Further to this review they have settled my issue to my satisfaction which I appreciate. Though I did have to publicise my criticism. Thus, happy to bump them up to 4/5 as the guys who did the removal were very good and efficient.

You did everything to ease the process for us - collected and delivered the furniture on a Sunday (our only free day) and assembled everything really quickly. The worst experience we have ever had with a company as we felt we were taking advantage of. We were moving from London out to Watford. We received a quote from the company for 242 for the move. The day before we were suppose to move we noticed that our booked appointment stated that our sofas were a three seater and a two seater. We immediately called the company again as we had originally stated that we have a three seater sofa and a L-shaped sofa. As we had booked their largest vehicle (a Luton) we were assured there would be plenty of room for the sofas. Our appointment was for 12:30. At 12:45 we called the company to see where the movers were and were told a van broke down therefore they were running about an hr and half to two hours behind. We were slightly irritated as we felt with that long of a delay they could have had the decency to call us and let us know but realised that things happened so waited patiently for the movers. They arrived after 2:30 and looked around and stated that our stuff would not fit in one van. We called the company and they stated they would either send out another van or the current movers would make two trips for a total cost of 448. Although this was almost double out initial quote we realised we needed to move out that day and felt that although they should have known after numerous calls we would need two vans. We agreed to pay the 448. As we had a cleaner scheduled to come at 4:30 we had to cancel but were not given a refund so we were out 70. No other van was available therefore the same movers made two trips. After they loaded the van for the second time at 9:30, the company called the movers and ask to speak to us. The company stated that we had to agree to pay 690 or the movers would unload the truck and move everything back into our flat. As it was 9:30 and we were suppose to move out and were not able to get any other movers that weekend, we had no other options. We felt the company hustled us out of our money. We were told that the additional cost would bring the total amount to 448 and now at 9:30 at night on the moving day they would not complete the job unless we paid 690. The morning started out with a estimate of 242 and we ended up being charged 690 plus we lost 70 on the cleaning that never occurred due to the lateness. We had to reach out to our landlord to ensure we could access the flat on Saturday as we were unable to get it cleaned Friday. Total loss was 518 (70 plus 448). Update: after writing the review the company contacted us and refunded us 157 bringing the cost down to 533 plus the 140 as we had to pay for the same cleaning twice (had to cancel the cleaning the same day). Due to the stress and aggravation caused I would use another company.

Worst moving experience ever. They didn't turn up because they were angry that there last job got them a parking ticket. So when i called up to find out why, they said it was because there wasn't anywhere to park... which was a lie because i had a space outside my door for them (couldn't have been closer). No phone call, no communication... So I asked them to return. When they arrived an hour after the driver was aggressive, rude, and made our whole experience more stressful that it needed to be. I even ended up taking the boxes with breakable items as i didn't want things to get broken. I paid them to make my day less stressful and they took it to new levels. I have told this is Fantastic removals and I am yet to hear from them. Worst service. Terrible communication, terrible service. I wonder if the people hired are over worked, underpaid and treated poorly? I was given all the anger and grief due to there previous job which is unfair, but it makes you wonder if he was angry enough for me to feel scared how they are treated.

They have the worst customer service. Slow response and inefficient. Wasted 5 hours of my time, two days in a row. Still did not get the removal job done. I have never experienced such a bad service. It’s not the removal men’s fault but the management’s. Could have booked else where if I knew they were so unprofessional. Never had such a bad experience with removal service companies , still got charged full price for the job that they failed to complete. Ridiculous company.

I would never book or recommend this company for furniture assembly. They arrived and immediately started to complain and give me attitude about parking. They are a very expensive service and I did not expect to have rudeness straight from the start. I asked them to begin with the bed as I was planning to sleep on it. They refused and did whatever they wanted. They left unimaginable mess. Furthermore, they did not include important safety features on some of the furniture they assembled. I may have to get someone else to fix the mess they made. Get taskrabbit.

It felt like an adventure to move to a new house. We used this company to carry our things and they came at home early in the morning on the big moving day. My dog Dutin really seemed to like one of the operatives and started jumping on him and licking him all over. He didn't seem to mind this and acted very friendly the whole time. My daughter also tried to stop them from doing their job by craving attention, but they managed this as well. The movers were very friendly and nice during the whole time. They transported our things properly, but the pleasing experience is something you remember. I will be recommending this company. Best regards to the team.

NOT SO FANTASTIC. If you want removal men to come, complain about the work and end up moving most things yourself then go ahead and book, the items that they did bother to move they have ruined. Over 3 tv units are ruined with dents where they were not careful. I also got charged EXTRA as they kept on taking breaks so went over the time i booked... when i did most of the moving myself! Do not waste your time

And I would give zero, if zero was possible!!! I booked a 2:30 pm move, it was 3 and no-one had arrived so I called, the operator couldnt get through them while on the phone with me so we hanged up, they I received not a call, but a text saying we are running 90 min late. I waited, it was 4:10 and nothing so I called again, quite frustrated, again same scenario, I received another text saying they were running late 90 min. At 4:50 I texted back asking if they could guarantee me they were moving me on the day and to give me a time, no reply. At 5:10 I called the office and to cancel, the operator try to convinced me they were happy to still do the removal but were running late 80 min. I cancelled, jumped online and booked with a company specialized in last minute services - Compare the Man & Van - they were at my door in 50 min and apparently Fantastic Moves has quite of a bad reputation in the movers world. Yes it costed me more money but piece of mind has not price and I needed to be out of my past address by 7pm. Never use this company, their customer service is the worst I have received in London, the only one who tried to be "helpful" was the guy who answered the phone when I called to cancel. I appreciate there are issues and a move can run late 1hr to 90 min but by the time I cancelled they were running late by 3 hrs and wanted me to wait an extra hour and a half. To be honest I couldn't trust them and will never go near this provider and will make sure to spread the word. Fantastic Removals contacted me, reimbursed me the difference between their quote and what I ended up paying to Man&Van. They are supposed to send me a hamper nexr Saturday, they have tried to compensate me for the no-show. The day of my move was extremely difficult and stressful, I acknowledge their efforts but would still not use them again. I have added 1 star and edited the comment for fairness purposes. Anyone reading this, ponder all facts and decide what is best for you during a move. Oh dear can you believe they were supposed to deliver a hamper (that I didn't ask for) today between 11:30 - 2 and they never showed up. I don't really mind about the hamper but really, you as a company put yourself in such position? zero stars. Back to 1 star

First of all, we felt that the movers were very unprofessional in their behaviour. We were initially told that it would take 6 hours of work for moving. However, due to scheduling constraints, we were only given an appointment for 4 hours of moving services. In that time, the movers could not even finish furnishing 2 of the 4 rooms, due to their leisurely pace of work. Secondly, the original move was supposed to be on Friday afternoon (4 hours of normal work, and 1 hour of overtime work), with the price quoted as £318. However, that appointment was cancelled and changed to Saturday afternoon (4 hours of normal work). Yet, we were charged the same price of £318 for the moving on Saturday, despite the fewer working hours. We feel that it was very unfair for us to be charged the same price (on Saturday) that we were quoted for Friday, due to the shorter hours of work, as well as the workers not having to work overtime on Saturday. Also, for the expensive fees charged by Fantastic Services, and the fact that the workers worked in a two-man team, we expected the job to proceed much more efficiently than what we experienced. Furthermore, the last minute cancellation was totally unprofessional on their part, seeing how we had already booked the movers in advance. Thirdly, on that day, a particular neighbour of ours was unhappy with the way the movers were moving our things and expressed discontent, to which the movers got angry and started shouting at us, even threatening to quit the job and stop moving. This made my housemate and I feel that we were in an unsafe environment. Furthermore, due to the movers' anger, they did not move the furniture in the order that we specified, and that created further inconvenience for us over the following few days in our new property. Finally, the movers were not careful in moving the furniture into the property. This led to multiple scratches and mark being created on the walls of our newly renovated rental property, all of which will eventually have to be sorted out between us and our landlord, as you can imagine. Also, one of the wardrobes was left with multiple scratches and chips, due to the movers' carelessness. It has been more than a month since we emailed Fantastic Removals to discuss our situation, and we still have not received any form of reply from them. This inefficiency in communication and stonewalling from them has been an extremely negative and frustrating experience for us, and we sincerely hope that no one else would ever have to experience this same level of bad service.

The two individuals were not prepared (their lifting tools were broken and they had to carry everything) They damaged the corner of our table and broke the extending mechanism. They also drilled holes to put it back together, without our consent We made a claim the same day in May, and they still have not solved our issue - i.e. reimburse us using "their insurance". Do not use their services!

UPDATE: This was a 2 star review, but is up to 4 because of the after-sales support. The company responded to my complaint and offered a fair solution. I am happy. Good points: 1. The move happened, the guys who did it were fine and didn't break anything. Bad points/Things to note: 1. The move cost twice as much as the estimate. To some degree I accept that things can take longer than expected but the extra cost was partly due to (a) Fantastic sending a smaller van than required, necessitating two trips. If my two locations weren't 5 minutes apart, this would have added even more to my cost and (b) the movers levied a "heavy items fee". This was not mentioned anywhere by Fantastic and when I raised it with Fantastic they did not answer the question (giving a vague response about costs being different depending on the nature of the move). I suspect the requirement is illegal and in breach of my contract. 2. Fantastic are not movers. They are an office which passes on your details to an actual moving firm and then takes a cut. I only discovered this when the movers told me - this was not made clear to me at any time beforehand. 3. When I raised all of the above (including that my removal fee for a 2 bed flat, moving 5 minutes' away cost around £800), Fantastic's response was to give me a £15 voucher for their own services. That is an almost offensive attempt at compensation. For reference a moving company I used a few years ago for a larger move (a 3 bed house) came in at just over £500. Sadly they weren't available on my chosen date. In short: if you want your move to cost twice as much as the estimate, and if you want pretty useless service, go to Fantastic. Next time, I'll find a mover that actually meets their quote and does the move themselves. Lesson learned.

This was the 4th time I've used Fantastic Removals` services. No bad surprises here. The quality was as expected. I really enjoy the fact that they always call me one day prior to validate the booking. It acts as a reminder as well, which is great for the likes of me that can't remember a date even if it would kill them. Two guys came as usual and the whole moving process went smoothly. I had two fragile boxes which I specifically pointed out. No damages were found after the removal so kudos for the guys. I see no reason to change the removal company for my 5th London move.

Changing this to 4 stars as after I left my review the company got in contact and did everything they could to resolve and they helped me with the Carpet cleaning for a very good price. The absolute worst experience ever! Company cancelled on me last minute as there Luton van broke down. They then rescheduled for me later that day and were 2 hours late. The 2 guys that turned up were nice and obviously felt bad about the situation, but they were knackered as it was the end of the day (7pm) and they only had 1 small van, NOT the Luton van I had paid for! The guys did their best but we couldn’t get all the stuff in and they were exhausted so they had to call in and reorganise for another pick up the following morning. We did a 2nd pick up, but once again not enough time or space so we now still have bags and furniture at our old place which we are having to pay for a seperate van at a different company to come. Would not recommend this company at all!!!! Made an already stressful time even worse.
