Here's what happened to me:
Well, I went to Anthropologie. Here it goes the awful experience. I first asked the front shop assistant for Ophelie Hats. She didn't know. After 2 more attempts, I just asked me where could I find hats and head pieces. That, she knew.... I couldn't find any OH, so I asked for them to another attendant. Well, she didn't understand Ophelie Hats. I had to spell it for her. Noooo, we don't have that. What do you mean? They're all sold out? No... We never had those. Yes, you did. No, we didn't. Well, you have a computer there. Please check, because I spoke to the designer and she told me I could find them here. Hum.... I'll check. What's the name again? Ophelie Hats. Can you spell it? O p h e etc. she then typed it. Like I said, no. Doesn't exist. Yes it does. Type again. This time, she asked me to write it down. In the meantime my daughter had already opened FB and this page, so I just showed it to her, and the list of selling places in London. She opened her mouth and ahhhhhh-d!,,,
Back to the computer. 5(!) min later she said that apparently I was right. Of course I'm right, I told her. The thing is we only have 3, with this references - 3 loooong numbers and a short description - but there's only one left and it' s not at the shop. I'll have to go back there and see if I can find it. Can you find a pic so that I know what to look for? Well... It's there "cloche with bee". But madam, if you could provide me with an image in that (that being the iPad), it would be easier.
Seriously???? How many hats with bees do they have in the back store rooms?..... Even if she didn't know what a cloche is, the bee bit should be enough, right?
I totally lost it. I told her what I thought of her, of the store and of the way they treat the designers. And I left . I'll order on line. I'm sure it will be a much better experience and a loooot cheaper!!!
