I needed to have the work done first thing so that I could get to work. Arrived at 8am to a very cheerful and helpful welcome. I decided to wait around for the hour than go away. I was offered tea/coffee and reckon boss would have let me blag a porridge pot.???? 45 mins later the work was done. No dramas. Cost was as explained the previous week. Easy, no stress. Happy days. Thank you PJE Automotive.

Car went in flawless for device and MOT. They broke several items, failed the car MOT on them then tried to charge £70 for a mis-diagnosis of the faults they'd caused. Cost nearly £500 to repair at another garage. Total rip-off, avoid at all costs!!

Bought service and MOT through Groupon. Overall, satisfied but I guess they are in high demand due to the bargain Groupon offer which means they may not return your car within the committed timeframe, however, gentleman at the reception was apologetic about it. Won’t complain much as you get what you pay for.

Purchased service and mot through groupon.. service sheet only shows 32 point not 62 point service and when collecting car found it to be absolutely filthy and covered in bird mess, was not impressed when mechanic said "it happens where we park them". Was fuming when I left as only had the car a little while and had been keeping it clean and gleaming. They dont seem to respect the vehicles they work on. Not sure if I'll use them again. Since posting my review. The manager has been in contact and resolved any issues I had.

Can only base my review on my first visit. I bought a Groupon voucher for service and MOT since it was a fantastic price and I need to save as much money as possible. Car passed with advisories as expected. Always good when you can trust a garage not to dupe money out of you. I will be using this garage for future

Cant fault PJE . Courteous staff, professional service and advisories that are honest and not to pressurise you into doing unnecessary work. Just had our 2 cars done. Very satisfied. I do have a puzzle though which someone might be able to answer. I bought a Service MOT with Oil and Filter change with Groupon. Tried to book this on their website (voucher bookings) but the nearest choice was Service and MOT with no mention of the oil and filter change. No idea if these were carried out on either vehicle. Doesnt matter really as I can get them done another time but maybe if the online booking options were changed it would help.

Booked service and MOT through Groupon. I had a damaged wing mirror assembly unit so rang them a few weeks before to get a price for fitting a new one and to check that it wouldn't fail the MOT with that. I was promised a call back. Didn't happen. I called again and asked the same question, promised another call. Didn't get one. So, called a THIRD time speaking to Martin? Same answer, promised call...NO CALL! I gave up. Unbelievable! Took car to the garage for 8am for the MOT and service. Rang them at 12.45 as I hadn't heard anything, and had been waiting in the area all that time. Promised a mechanic would call me back within 15 mins. NO CALL!!!!! So, I ventured 30 mins later to the reception and then had to wait about 20 mins for the paperwork. No apologies for the wait of course! The car was failed on the MOT ref welding work underneath, stating that there were holes in it. I was quoted £119 for the work to be done. I declined and drove back to my normal garage in Horsham. Whom I usually go to, but didn't on this one occasion due to the Groupon offer. I went to my normal garage whom had done the welding work on my car previously and they stated there was absolutely no erosion and that they would have passed the car on the MOT! I was shown the underneath of the car for myself and sure enough, no holes and very sound welding work! I REPEAT!.... I SAW THE CAR UNDERNEATH WITH A TRAINED MECHANIC FROM A REPUTABLE GARAGE AND THERE WAS NO FAILURE UNDER MY CAR! They are now doing the MOT again for me to pass it! I am furious and feel that PJE tried to get their money back on some rubbish excuse knowing full well that most customer's wouldn't see and check the 'failed' areas for themselves, believing what they are told! Complete scammers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!

If i could give this place 10 stars i would. My tyre was flat as a pancake, i googled to see if anyone was close and these guys were luckily 5 mins drive away. As soon as i got there a guy spotted i was in trouble, directed me to exactly where the garage was and got me to reception. Everyone was very friendly and they gave my dog some water. They took 20 minutes to change my tyre and charged me £57 for the tyre and labour. Actual legends. 10 stars!!! Thanks again for saving our trip to Brighton guys!!

What can I say ! Fantastic ! I have been using this garage for nearly 3 years (after using harwoods for 8 years) I had an old PT Cruiser which had problems recently. I did pay an initial bill (exact to the quote) but this did not solve the problem. A hell of a lot more work was carried out at no cost to myself. A reconditioned engine was maybe the answer ? (Not that easy to get and would it be okay) so they bought me another PT Cruiser !!! Have you ever heard of anything like that ? I am very happy its the same colour and a year younger, also peter swapped numerous parts from my old car to the new car if they were better. Also whilst this work was going on (quite a while) I was given one of the garages runaround cars as a courtesy car. Thank you to Paul (owner boss, also hands on mechanic) Doug the manager and Chanice on the front desk, and of course Peter who has just retired. I am the daughter of a motor mechanic, so I know how tough it can be. (If my dad was still here he would be impressed) For anyone who has left a bad review for this garage I can only say, i am very surprised, if you ever have a problem talk to them, i would guarantee that Paul would sort it out.

Ive beeb driving 10 years now and ive never come across such great guys. Long story short, these guys assisted another company to fix my car after a hit and run, i wasnt to pleased when i got my car back from the first company and couldnt use it as some electric issues, these guys went outthwir way collected car did everything they could to help and im now happy to have my car back. People like these guys who go out their way do not come along oftern they had no legal obligations at all. Ill never use another garage and ill be spreading the word among the care industry as our cars are our lively hoods. Who said heros always had capes. Superstars. amazing customer care, always someone on other end of phone and genuinly happy to help.

I went here last month for my service. Was a Groupon service so i knew it wasn’t going to be as well looked after as one paying full price. Anyway, I got there around 9 and left it there.. 12 came.. no calls.. around 1-2 they called and said the service was compelte but the Flexi and a bulb needed changing.. told me the price plus VAT because... why wouldn’t you want to know the full price. Said just over £200. They fixed it 3 hours later, got there and they’d added another £50 on for ‘VAT’... there was supposed to be a £20/20% discount on labour with never happened. I had to go back the next day because my exhaust was hanging off and it was hitting the wheel arch!! No apology. I wasn’t going to write this but after breaking down this week and having to call the AA and them telling me that it was because of my spark plugs hadn’t been changed in a few years, i thought it needed to be said. These are supposed to be changed in a ‘full service’ which this definitely wasn’t. The filters never got changed either. I’m really disappointed and wouldn’t come back here if it was free.

We had service and MOT done end of October with a Groupon voucher. All seemed fine and nearly no extra cost. In December I brought the car to our usual garage (as it was reopened them) because of a problem with the battery. The guy was appalled by the state of the car. The wrong size oil filter had been fitted, the back breaks were failing, hand break needed to be changed and as well as parts of the gear box plus various bits and pieces. He was astonished by the fact that the car passed mot in those conditions. We had to spend about £800 at our garage in order to have a car that was SAFE to drive. This seems incredible!

Booked an appointment for when I arrived was told they wouldn't be able to MOT my car (without any previous warning) - so booked in for later in the week and then when I went second time they told me they couldn't fit me in that day either (so another wasted trip) - booking system, organisation and customer service are all sh*t!

Brought my car to have a belt changed as I could see it was wearing. Was meet by the owner Paul, who complained about the staff leaving a mess and muttering on and even complaining to another member of staff. Handed in the keys and said they would give me a callback. After waiting for them to call me back, I called them, only to find out they had tried to changed, but were unable to complete the job as it needed a tensioner and would have to order it tomorrow. So I drove the car back home, when putting the car back on the drive, the belt completely snapped, leaving me without any power steering. Next day I returned with the car, eventually went to collect it, as I went to drive out (didn't even make it out of the car park) Red warning light displaying problem with battery/alternator. Spoke to Mark who had just returned the car and he said it's probably your battery, I said no as it is new. Must be your alternator then. Once again I explained that it didn't have this problem until the belt and tensioner were replaced. Mark said well as your belt snapped, it could of cut a wire, damaged the alternator etc. I was so angry that I couldn't even go in and speak to Paul the boss and just drove it home. Fast forward between 8/10 months I booked my Motor-home in, arrived and was told we have no booking. Later after having a conversation, was told it's a Motor-home, it doesn't come up on our system :-(. dropped it off and left the keys (make sure they have your telephone number), within a hour they called me back to say it won't fit on our ramp. After having a bit of a debate, I asked to speak to the boss/owner Paul, who was as helpful as a soggy biscuit. Questions like, surely you have seen our facilities and you would of known it would not fit. How could I know it would not fit, as I saw a motor-home on the ramp before. Anyway the conversation went on and I was asking, why when your staff are booking in a Motor-home would you not either ask the size (a old B544 Hymer, which is not big), once again this was my fault. I was not getting very p***** off and all Paul kept saying is what do you want me to do? I also explained it had cost me to get a day's insurance then he just kept saying, you should have insurance (Paul it was SORN, it was insured for that day) And once again when I took it to a place that did what they said they would. Going on about not having insurance, or not caring that the simplistic solution, would be to ask future customers about the size of your ramp, or the size of there Motor-home would fix this. The only time Paul cared about anything, was when I said, no problem I will just write you a bad review. Well here it is Paul, great customer service (Not) you have been warned
