This amazing find on Clapham Road is THE JEWEL in what could be an amazing row of niche businesses.
I've been in there many times and they always have different things that catch my eye. They have unusual pieces that can make fantastic gifts though to be fair I've bought myself quite a bit too. The quality is very good and they have good turnover so there's something new every time.
Just turn right outside Oval tube and walk 5 minutes and you're there! Treat yourself and pop in. It's well worth the visit!

A real gem of a shop. I have visited many times and picked up some lovely pieces. In particular I love the Christmas tree decorations I bought this year. Really ornate and unlike anything I'd seen elsewhere. The staff are great too, really lovely and helpful. I'll no doubt be back soon!

This is a piece of heaven in Oval. It is a real gem of a shop ... no need to go to the west end. All you need is here. I bought stunning coasters- glittered feathers, candles, a clock and stocked up on a range of glorious cards, artistic as well as funny and humorous ones. It’s got the quirky to traditional. Maxine, the owner is more than helpful. It’s a treasure trove of utter fabulousness! It’s a one of a kind. You’ll always find something stunning and irresistible-I can’t list the range of different things it holds to brighten anyone’s home. Go and see for yourself. If you don’t you’re truly missing out.

While we have tried so many brands, including the White Company, Wax Lyrical and Yankee, not only are Max and Melia's home-brand candles the most clean-burning of all, they always put the most amazing signiture nostalgic note to our home. A very welcome and the best addition to this section of Oval/Clapham Road in recent years! Always there for the frequently needed Birthday card. Great for small and larger gifts or unique home furnishings. Need some seasonal decorations to set off your home displays to make your friends envious, then guaranteed Max and Melia will have something or even the whole shebang to finish off your desired look. Stuck for a present? Ask the friendly and helpful staff for some ideas and they'll easily point you in the right direction and help you find just the right gift. Your friends and family won't know where you got it from, but don't keep it a secret!
